²⁷耶稣和门徒前往凯撒利亚·腓立比境内的村庄。在路上，祂问门徒：“别人说我是谁？”

²⁸他们说：“有人说你是施洗者约翰，有人说你是以利亚，有人说你是众先知中的一位。”

²⁹耶稣又问他们：“那么，你们说我是谁？”

彼得回答说：“你是基督！”

²⁷Jesus and his disciples went on to the villages around Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked them, “Who do people say I am?”

²⁸They replied, “Some say John the Baptist;^(B) others say Elijah;^(C) and still others, one of the prophets.”

²⁹“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
