在彼拉多面前受审
15 一到清晨，祭司长们就与长老们、经文士们以及全议会的人商议对策，然后把耶稣捆起来带走，交给彼拉多。
2 彼拉多问他：“你是犹太人的王吗？”
耶稣回答他，说：“是你说的。”
3 祭司长们控告了耶稣很多事[a]。 4 所以彼拉多又问他，说：“你什么都不回应吗？你看，他们控告你这么多的事。” 5 可是，耶稣仍然什么也不回答，以致彼拉多感到惊奇。
耶稣或巴拉巴
6 每逢这节日[b]，彼拉多都会给民众释放一个他们所要求的囚犯。 7 那时，有一个叫巴拉巴的，和一同叛乱的人被关在牢里，他们在暴乱中杀过人。 8 众人就上前去[c]，开始要求彼拉多按照他的惯例给他们办。 9 彼拉多问他们，说：“你们要我给你们释放这犹太人的王吗？” 10 其实彼拉多知道祭司长们是出于嫉妒才把耶稣交给他的。 11 但是，祭司长们煽动众人，宁愿要彼拉多给他们释放巴拉巴。
12 彼拉多又问他们，说：“那么，你们要我怎么处理你们称为犹太人之王的那一位呢？”
13 他们再次喊叫：“把他钉上十字架！”
14 彼拉多对他们说：“他到底做了什么恶事呢？”
但他们却越发喊叫：“把他钉上十字架！”
15 彼拉多想要讨好众人，就给他们释放了巴拉巴，然后将耶稣鞭打[d]了，把他交出去钉上十字架。
被士兵戏弄
16 士兵们把耶稣带进大院，那里就是总督府，并召集了全队士兵。 17 他们给他穿上紫色袍子，套上用荆棘编的冠冕， 18 然后开始向他致敬说：“万岁，犹太人的王！” 19 他们用芦苇打他的头，向他吐唾沫，又跪下来拜他。 20 他们戏弄完了，就脱下他紫色袍子，给他穿上他自己的衣服，然后带他出去，要把他钉上十字架。
被钉在罪犯之间
21 有一个古利奈人西门，是亚历山大和鲁弗斯的父亲，正从乡下来，经过那里。他们就强迫他来背耶稣的十字架。 22 他们把耶稣带到一个叫各各他的地方——“各各他”翻译出来就是“骷髅地”； 23 然后把调了没药的酒给耶稣，但他不接受。 24 于是，他们把耶稣钉上十字架，又分他的衣服，抽签看谁得什么。 25 在上午九点[e]，他们把耶稣钉上了十字架。 26 他的罪状牌上写的是：“犹太人的王。”
27 同时，他们把两个强盗与耶稣一起钉上十字架，一个在右边，一个在左边。 28 这就应验了经上所说的：“他被列在不法之徒当中。”[f][g] 29 那些路过的人辱骂耶稣，摇着头，说：“咳！你这个要拆毁圣所、三天内又建起来的人哪， 30 从十字架上下来，救救你自己吧！” 31 同样，祭司长们也与经文士们一起嘲笑，相互说：“他救了别人，却不能救自己！ 32 这个基督，以色列的王，现在让他从十字架上下来吧，好让我们看了就相信！”与耶稣一起被钉十字架的人也责骂他。
耶稣之死
33 到了中午十二点[h]，黑暗笼罩了整个大地，一直到下午三点[i]。 34 下午三点，耶稣大声呼喊：“以罗伊，以罗伊！拉玛撒巴克达尼？[j]”——这翻译出来就是“我的神，我的神！你为什么离弃我？”[k]
35 站在旁边的一些人听见了，就说：“看，他在呼唤以利亚呢！” 36 有一个人跑过去，用海绵蘸满了酸酒，套在芦苇上，要给他喝，然后说：“等着吧，我们看以利亚会不会来把他放下来。”
37 耶稣大叫一声，就断了气。 38 同时，圣所里的幔子从上到下裂成两半。 39 站在耶稣对面的百夫长，看见他这样[l]断了气，就说：“这个人真是神的儿子！”
40 还有一些妇女从远处观看，其中有茉大拉的玛丽亚、小雅各和约西的母亲玛丽亚，以及莎罗美。 41 她们就是耶稣在加利利的时候，跟随他并服事他的人；还有许多别的跟耶稣一同上耶路撒冷的妇女。
安葬
42 因为那天是预备日，也就是安息日的前一天，所以到了傍晚， 43 亚利马太的约瑟来了，鼓起勇气去向彼拉多请求要耶稣的遗体。约瑟是犹太议会中一位受人尊敬的议员，他也期待着神的国。 44 彼拉多听见耶稣已经死了就感到惊奇，于是叫来了百夫长，问他耶稣是否已经死了[m]。 45 他向百夫长了解情况[n]后，就把遗体[o]给了约瑟。 46 于是，约瑟买了细麻布，把遗体取下来，用细麻布包好，安放在一座岩石凿成的墓穴里，又滚来一块石头，堵住墓穴口。 47 茉大拉的玛丽亚和约西的母亲[p]玛丽亚，都看到了安放耶稣的地方。

15 And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
2 And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto them, Thou sayest it.
3 And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.
4 And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee.
5 But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.
6 Now at that feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired.
7 And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.
8 And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.
9 But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews?
10 For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.
11 But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.
12 And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews?
13 And they cried out again, Crucify him.
14 Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.
15 And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.
16 And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.
17 And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head,
18 And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!
19 And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.
20 And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.
21 And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.
22 And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.
23 And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.
24 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.
25 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.
26 And the superscription of his accusation was written over, The King Of The Jews.
27 And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left.
28 And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.
29 And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,
30 Save thyself, and come down from the cross.
31 Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.
32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
33 And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
35 And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.
36 And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.
37 And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.
38 And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.
39 And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
40 There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
41 (Who also, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto him;) and many other women which came up with him unto Jerusalem.
42 And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
43 Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.
44 And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.
45 And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.
46 And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.
47 And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.

15 清早，祭司長、長老、律法教師和全公會的人商定後，便把耶穌綁起來押送到彼拉多那裡。
2 彼拉多問耶穌：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」
耶穌回答說：「如你所言。」
3 祭司長控告耶穌許多罪。
4 彼拉多又問道：「你看，他們控告你這麼多，你都不回答嗎？」
5 耶穌仍舊一言不發，彼拉多感到驚奇。
6 每年逾越節的時候，彼拉多都會照慣例按猶太人的要求釋放一個囚犯。 7 那時，有一個囚犯名叫巴拉巴，與其他作亂時殺過人的囚犯關在一起。 8 百姓聚來，要求彼拉多照慣例釋放囚犯。
9 彼拉多問：「你們要我為你們釋放猶太人的王嗎？」 10 因為他知道祭司長把耶穌押來是出於妒忌。 11 但祭司長卻煽動百姓，叫他們要求彼拉多釋放巴拉巴。
12 彼拉多只好問：「那麼，這位你們稱之為猶太人之王的，我如何處置呢？」
13 他們喊著說：「把祂釘在十字架上！」
14 彼拉多問：「為什麼？祂犯了什麼罪？」
他們卻更大聲地喊：「把祂釘在十字架上！」
15 為了取悅眾人，彼拉多釋放了巴拉巴，命人將耶穌鞭打後帶出去釘十字架。
耶穌受辱
16 於是，衛兵把耶穌帶進總督府的院子，集合了全營的兵。 17 他們給祂穿上紫袍，用荊棘編成王冠戴在祂頭上， 18 向祂行禮，並喊著說：「猶太人的王萬歲！」 19 他們用葦稈打祂的頭，向祂吐唾沫，跪拜祂。 20 戲弄完了，就脫去祂的紫袍，給祂穿上原來的衣服，押祂出去釘十字架。
釘十字架
21 亞歷山大和魯孚的父親古利奈人西門從鄉下來，途經那地方，衛兵就強迫他背耶穌的十字架。 22 他們把耶穌帶到各各他——意思是「髑髏地」， 23 拿沒藥調和的酒給祂喝，但祂不肯喝。 24 他們把耶穌釘在十字架上，還抽籤分祂的衣服。 25 他們釘祂十字架的時間是在上午九點鐘。 26 祂的罪狀牌上寫著「猶太人的王」。
