33 从午正到申初，遍地都黑暗了。 34 申初的时候，耶稣大声喊着说：“以罗伊！以罗伊！拉马撒巴各大尼？”（翻出来就是：“我的神！我的神！为什么离弃我？”） 35 旁边站着的人，有的听见就说：“看哪，他叫以利亚呢！” 36 有一个人跑去，把海绒蘸满了醋，绑在苇子上，送给他喝，说：“且等着，看以利亚来不来把他取下。”

37 耶稣大声喊叫，气就断了。 38 殿里的幔子从上到下裂为两半。 39 对面站着的百夫长看见耶稣这样喊叫[a]断气，就说：“这人真是神的儿子！” 40 还有些妇女远远地观看，内中有抹大拉的马利亚，又有小雅各和约西的母亲马利亚，并有撒罗米， 41 就是耶稣在加利利的时候，跟随他、服侍他的那些人；还有同耶稣上耶路撒冷的好些妇女在那里观看。

33 And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
35 And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.
36 And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.
37 And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.
38 And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.
39 And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
40 There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
41 (Who also, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto him;) and many other women which came up with him unto Jerusalem.
