预言圣殿被毁
13 耶稣走出圣殿的时候，有一个门徒对祂说：“老师，你看！这是多么大的石头，多么宏伟的建筑啊！”
2 耶稣说：“你看见这宏伟的建筑了吗？将来它要被完全拆毁，找不到两块叠在一起的石头。”
3 耶稣面向圣殿坐在橄榄山上，彼得、雅各、约翰和安得烈私下来问祂： 4 “请告诉我们，这些事什么时候会发生？有什么预兆？”
5 耶稣对他们说：“你们要小心，免得被人迷惑。 6 将有很多人冒我的名来，说，‘我是基督’，欺骗许多人。
7 “你们听见战争爆发、战讯频传时，不要惊慌，因为这些事必然发生，只是末日还没有到。
8 “民族将与民族互斗，国家将与国家相争，各处将有地震和饥荒。这些只是灾难[a]的开始。
9 “你们要小心，因为你们将被送上法庭，将在会堂里受鞭打，又将为了我的缘故在官长和君王面前做见证。 10 不过，福音一定要先传遍天下。 11 你们被拘捕，受审讯的时候，不用预先考虑怎样辩解，到时候赐给你们什么话，你们就说什么话，因为那时候说话的不是你们自己，而是圣灵。
12 “那时，人必把自己的弟兄置于死地，父亲必把儿子置于死地，儿女必反叛父母，置他们于死地。 13 你们将为我的名而被众人憎恨，但坚忍到底的必定得救。
大灾难
14 “当你们看见‘那带来毁灭的可憎之物’站在不当站的地方时（读者须会意），住在犹太地区的人要逃到山上去； 15 在屋顶上的人不要下来，不要进房屋收拾行李； 16 在田间的人不要回家取外衣。 17 那时，孕妇和哺育婴儿的母亲们可就遭殃了！ 18 你们要祈求上帝使这些事不要在冬天发生， 19 因为那是上帝创造天地以来空前绝后的大灾难。 20 如果主不缩短灾期，恐怕没有人能活命，但为了祂所拣选的子民，祂已经缩短灾期。 21 那时，如果有人对你们说，‘看啊！基督在这里’，或说，‘基督在那里’，你们不要相信。 22 因为假基督和假先知将出现，行各种神迹奇事，如果可能，甚至会迷惑上帝拣选的子民。 23 你们要小心，我已经把一切预先告诉你们了。
人子降临
24 “大灾难过后，
太阳昏暗，
月亮无光，
25 星宿陨落，
天体震动。
26 那时，世人必看到人子驾着云、带着极大的能力和荣耀降临。 27 祂必差遣天使从四面八方、天涯海角招聚祂拣选的人。
28 “你们可以从无花果树学个道理。当无花果树发芽长叶的时候，你们就知道夏天快来了。 29 同样，当你们看见这些事情发生时，就知道人子快来了，就在门口。 30 我实在告诉你们，这个世代还没有过去，这一切都要发生。 31 天地都要过去，我的话却永远长存。
32 “但没有人知道那日子和时辰何时来到，连天上的天使和人子都不知道，只有天父知道。 33 你们要小心，警醒祷告，因为你们不知道那日子何时来到。
34 “这就好像一个人在出远门之前，把家中的事交给仆人，让他们各做各的工作，又吩咐守门的人要警醒。 35 所以你们要警醒，因为你们不知道主人什么时候回来，可能是黄昏，可能是夜半，也可能是黎明或早上。 36 别让他突然回来时看到你们在睡觉。 37 我劝你们也劝所有的人，要警醒！”

13 Khi Đức Giê-su rời đền thờ, một môn đệ thưa với Ngài: “Thưa Thầy, xem kìa, các khối đá khổng lồ và những công trình kiến trúc vĩ đại quá!”
2 Đức Giê-su bảo: “Con có thấy những công trình kiến trúc to lớn đó không? Rồi sẽ không còn một khối đá nào chồng trên khối đá nào mà không bị đổ xuống.”
Hoạn Nạn Và Bắt Bớ(B)
3 Khi Ngài đang ngồi trên núi Ô-liu đối diện với đền thờ thì Phê-rơ, Gia-cơ, Giăng và An-rê đến hỏi riêng Ngài: 4 “Xin Thầy nói cho chúng con biết khi nào những việc ấy sẽ xảy ra và có dấu hiệu gì báo trước tất cả những điều này sẽ kết thúc.”
5 Đức Giê-su bắt đầu bảo họ: “Hãy coi chừng, đừng để ai lừa gạt các con. 6 Có nhiều người sẽ mạo danh Ta đến nói rằng: ‘Chính Ta là Đấng đó’ và họ sẽ lừa gạt nhiều người. 7 Khi các con nghe về chiến tranh và tin đồn về chiến tranh thì đừng hoảng hốt, điều này phải xảy đến nhưng chưa phải là tận thế. 8 Dân này sẽ nổi lên chống dân khác, nước nọ sẽ chống nước kia, nhiều nơi sẽ có động đất, sẽ có đói kém, đó chỉ là khởi đầu của cơn đau chuyển bụng.
9 Chính các con phải coi chừng. Các con sẽ bị nộp cho các hội đồng, bị đánh đập trong các hội đường và vì Ta, các con sẽ phải đứng trước các thống đốc và vua để làm chứng. 10 Nhưng trước đó Phúc Âm phải được truyền giảng cho muôn dân. 11 Khi họ dẫn các con đi nộp, đừng lo trước những điều mình sẽ nói, nhưng hãy nói những gì các con được ban cho trong giờ đó, vì những điều các con nói không phải do các con nhưng bởi Đức Thánh Linh.
12 Anh sẽ nộp em để bị giết, cha nộp con và con cái nổi lên chống cha mẹ làm cho cha mẹ bị giết. 13 Vì danh Ta, các con sẽ bị mọi người ghen ghét, nhưng ai kiên trì cho đến cuối cùng sẽ được cứu.
Tai Họa Khủng Khiếp(C)
14 Nhưng khi các con thấy sự tàn phá ghê tởm xảy ra nơi không nên xảy ra (ai đọc phải hiểu), thì ai ở trong miền Giu-đê phải trốn lên núi, 15 ai ở trên mái nhà đừng xuống, cũng đừng vào nhà để lấy vật gì; 16 ai ở ngoài đồng cũng đừng quay lại lấy áo. 17 Khốn khổ cho những người đang mang thai và những ai có con thơ còn bú trong những ngày ấy. 18 Hãy cầu xin cho việc này đừng xảy ra vào mùa đông. 19 Vào những ngày đó sẽ có hoạn nạn mà từ thuở ban đầu, tức từ lúc Đức Chúa Trời sáng tạo vũ trụ cho đến bây giờ chưa hề có như vậy, và sẽ không bao giờ xảy ra nữa. 20 Nếu Chúa không giảm bớt các ngày ấy, không còn một ai sống sót. Nhưng vì cớ những người được chọn, là những người Ngài đã chọn, Ngài đã giảm các ngày ấy. 21 Lúc bấy giờ, nếu có ai bảo các con: ‘Chúa Cứu Thế đây này!’ hay ‘Kìa Ngài ở đó!’ thì đừng tin. 22 Vì sẽ có những Chúa Cứu Thế giả và tiên tri giả nổi lên, làm dấu lạ phép mầu để lừa dối, nếu có thể được, ngay cả những người được chọn. 23 Hãy coi chừng vì Ta đã báo trước mọi điều đó cho các con.
Con Người Xuất Hiện(D)
24 Trong những ngày ấy, sau cơn hoạn nạn,
Mặt trời sẽ tối,
Mặt trăng sẽ hết sáng,
25 Các ngôi sao từ trời sẽ rơi xuống
Và những quyền năng trên không trung bị rúng động.
26 Bấy giờ người ta sẽ thấy Con Người ngự đến giữa các đám mây với vinh quang và quyền năng vĩ đại, 27 rồi Ngài sẽ sai thiên sứ đi tập họp những người được chọn khắp bốn phương, từ chân trời đến góc biển.[a]

28 Hãy học bài học nơi cây vả: khi cây đâm chồi nẩy lộc,[b] thì các con biết gần đến mùa hè. 29 Cũng vậy, khi các con thấy những điềm này xảy ra thì biết rằng Ngài đã đến gần nơi ngưỡng cửa. 30 Ta nói thật cùng các con, thế hệ này sẽ không qua đi trước khi những việc đó xảy đến. 31 Trời đất sẽ qua đi nhưng những lời Ta phán sẽ không bao giờ qua đâu.”
Ngày Và Giờ(F)
32 Về ngày hay giờ ấy không ai biết được, ngay cả thiên sứ trên trời lẫn Con cũng vậy, ngoại trừ Cha. 33 Hãy coi chừng, hãy tỉnh thức vì các con không biết khi nào giờ đó sẽ đến. 34 Cũng như một người kia lên đường đi xa, khi rời nhà, người giao quyền cho các đầy tớ cai quản công việc nhà, chia cho mỗi người một việc và dặn người gác cửa canh chừng.
35 Vậy hãy thức canh, vì các con không biết khi nào chủ nhà đến, hoặc chiều tối, lúc nửa đêm, khi gà gáy hay ban mai, 36 kẻo khi chủ về bất ngờ, bắt gặp các con đang ngủ. 37 Những gì Ta bảo các con, Ta cũng bảo cho mọi người: “Hãy tỉnh thức!”

Destruction of the Temple Predicted
13 As(A) he was going out of the temple,(B) one of his disciples said to him, “Teacher,(C) look! What massive stones! What impressive buildings!” (D)
2 Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings?(E) Not one stone will be left upon another—all will be thrown down.”
Signs of the End of the Age
3 While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives(F) across from the temple,(G) Peter,(H) James,(I) John,(J) and Andrew(K) asked him privately, 4 “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished?”
5 Jesus told them, “Watch out that no one deceives you. 6 Many will come in my name,(L) saying, ‘I am he,’(M) and they will deceive(N) many. 7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars,(O) don’t be alarmed;(P) these things must take place,(Q) but it is not yet the end. 8 For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.(R) There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines.[a] These are the beginning(S) of birth pains.(T)
Persecutions Predicted
9 “But you, be on your guard! They will hand you over to local courts,[b](U) and you will be flogged(V) in the synagogues.(W) You will stand before governors and kings(X) because of me,(Y) as a witness(Z) to them.(AA) 10 And it is necessary that the gospel(AB) be preached to all nations. 11 So when they arrest you and hand you over, don’t worry beforehand what you will say, but say whatever is given to you at that time, for it isn’t you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
12 “Brother will betray(AC) brother to death,(AD) and a father his child. Children will rise up against parents and have them put to death. 13 You will be hated by everyone because of my name,(AE) but the one who endures to the end will be saved.(AF)
The Great Tribulation
14 “When you see the abomination of desolation[c](AG) standing where it should not be” (let the reader understand), “then those in Judea(AH) must flee to the mountains. 15 A man on the housetop must not come down or go in to get anything out of his house,(AI) 16 and a man in the field must not go back to get his coat.(AJ) 17 Woe (AK) to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days!
18 “Pray(AL) it[d] won’t happen in winter. 19 For those will be days of tribulation,(AM) the kind that hasn’t been from the beginning of creation,(AN) which God created, until now and never will be again.(AO) 20 If the Lord(AP) had not cut those days short,(AQ) no one would be saved. But he cut those days short for the sake of the elect,(AR) whom he chose.(AS)
21 “Then if anyone tells you, ‘See, here is the Messiah!(AT) See, there!’ do not believe it. 22 For false messiahs and false prophets will arise and will perform signs and wonders(AU) to lead astray, if possible, the elect. 23 And you must watch! I have told you everything in advance.
The Coming of the Son of Man
24 “But in those days, after that tribulation:(AV) The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not shed its light; 25 the stars(AW) will be falling from the sky, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.(AX) 26 Then they will see the Son of Man(AY) coming(AZ) in clouds(BA) with great power(BB) and glory.(BC) 27 He will send out the angels(BD) and gather his elect(BE) from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.(BF)
The Parable of the Fig Tree
28 “Learn(BG) this lesson(BH) from the fig(BI) tree: As soon as its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near.(BJ) 29 In the same way, when you see these things happening, recognize[e] that he[f] is near—at the door.
30 “Truly I tell you,(BK) this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things take place. 31 Heaven and earth(BL) will pass away,(BM) but my words will never pass away.(BN)
No One Knows the Day or Hour
32 “Now concerning that day(BO) or hour no one knows—neither the angels(BP) in heaven nor the Son(BQ) —but only the Father.(BR)
33 “Watch! Be alert![g] For you don’t know when the time(BS) is coming.(BT)
34 “It is like(BU) a man on a journey, who left his house, gave authority to his servants,(BV) gave each one his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to be alert. 35 Therefore be alert,(BW) since you don’t know when the master(BX) of the house is coming—whether in the evening or at midnight or at the crowing of the rooster or early in the morning. 36 Otherwise, when he comes suddenly he might find you sleeping.(BY) 37 And what I say to you, I say to everyone: Be alert!”

13 Y SALIENDO del templo, le dice uno de sus discípulos: Maestro, mira qué piedras, y qué edificios.
2 Y Jesús respondiendo, le dijo: ¿Ves estos grandes edificios? no quedará piedra sobre piedra que no sea derribada.
3 Y sentándose en el monte de las Olivas delante del templo, le preguntaron aparte Pedro y Jacobo y Juan y Andrés:
4 Dinos, ¿cuándo serán estas cosas? ¿y qué señal habrá cuando todas estas cosas han de cumplirse?
5 Y Jesús respondiéndoles, comenzó á decir: Mirad, que nadie os engañe;
6 Porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy el Cristo; y engañaran á muchos.
7 Mas cuando oyereis de guerras y de rumores de guerras no os turbéis, porque conviene hacerse así; mas aun no será el fin.
8 Porque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino; y habrá terremotos en muchos lugares, y habrá hambres y alborotos; principios de dolores serán estos.
9 Mas vosotros mirad por vosotros: porque os entregarán en los concilios, y en sinagogas seréis azotados: y delante de presidentes y de reyes seréis llamados por causa de mí, en testimonio á ellos.
10 Y á todas las gentes conviene que el evangelio sea predicado antes.
11 Y cuando os trajeren para entregaros, no premeditéis qué habéis de decir, ni lo penséis: mas lo que os fuere dado en aquella hora, eso hablad; porque no sois vosotros los que habláis, sino el Espíritu Santo.
12 Y entregará á la muerte el hermano al hermano, y el padre al hijo: y se levantarán los hijos contra los padres, y los matarán.
13 Y seréis aborrecidos de todos por mi nombre: mas el que perseverare hasta el fin, éste será salvo.
14 Empero cuando viereis la abominación de asolamiento, que fué dicha por el profeta Daniel, que estará donde no debe (el que lee, entienda), entonces los que estén en Judea huyan á los montes;
15 Y el que esté sobre el terrado, no descienda á la casa, ni entre para tomar algo de su casa;
16 Y el que estuviere en el campo, no vuelva atrás á tomar su capa.
17 Mas ay de las preñadas, y de las que criaren en aquellos días!
18 Orad pues, que no acontezca vuestra huída en invierno.
19 Porque aquellos días serán de aflicción, cual nunca fué desde el principio de la creación que crió Dios, hasta este tiempo, ni será.
20 Y si el Señor no hubiese abreviado aquellos días, ninguna carne se salvaría; mas por causa de los escogidos que él escogió, abrevió aquellos días.
21 Y entonces si alguno os dijere: He aquí, aquí está el Cristo; ó, He aquí, allí está, no le creáis.
22 Porque se levantarán falsos Cristos y falsos profetas, y darán señales y prodigios, para engañar, si se pudiese hacer, aun á los escogidos.
23 Mas vosotros mirad; os lo he dicho antes todo.
24 Empero en aquellos días, después de aquella aflicción, el sol se obscurecerá, y la luna no dará su resplandor;
25 Y las estrellas caerán del cielo, y las virtudes que están en los cielos serán conmovidas;
26 Y entonces verán al Hijo del hombre, que vendrá en las nubes con mucha potestad y gloria.
27 Y entonces enviará sus ángeles, y juntará sus escogidos de los cuatro vientos, desde el cabo de la tierra hasta el cabo del cielo.
28 De la higuera aprended la semejanza: Cuando su rama ya se enternece, y brota hojas, conocéis que el verano está cerca:
29 Así también vosotros, cuando viereis hacerse estas cosas, conoced que está cerca, á las puertas.
30 De cierto os digo que no pasará esta generación, que todas estas cosas no sean hechas.
31 El cielo y la tierra pasarán, mas mis palabras no pasarán.
32 Empero de aquel día y de la hora, nadie sabe; ni aun los ángeles que están en el cielo, ni el Hijo, sino el Padre.
33 Mirad, velad y orad: porque no sabéis cuándo será el tiempo.
34 Como el hombre que partiéndose lejos, dejó su casa, y dió facultad á sus siervos, y á cada uno su obra, y al portero mandó que velase:
35 Velad pues, porque no sabéis cuándo el señor de la casa vendrá; si á la tarde, ó á la media noche, ó al canto del gallo, ó á la mañana;
36 Porque cuando viniere de repente, no os halle durmiendo.
37 Y las cosas que á vosotros digo, á todos las dijo: Velad.
