21 耶稣注视着他,就爱他,对他说:“你还缺少一件:去卖掉你所拥有的,分给穷人,这样你将有财宝在天上;然后你[a]来跟从我。” 22 那个人因这话,脸色就变得阴沉,忧忧愁愁地走开了,因为他有很多财产。

20 “Teacher,” he declared, “all these I have kept since I was a boy.”
21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor,(A) and you will have treasure in heaven.(B) Then come, follow me.”(C)
22 At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth.
