醫治癱子
9 耶穌坐船回到湖對岸自己住的城鎮。
2 有人用擔架把一個癱子抬到耶穌面前。耶穌看見他們的信心，就對癱子說：「孩子，放心吧！你的罪得到赦免了。」
3 幾個律法教師聽了，心裡想：「這個人是在褻瀆上帝。」
4 耶穌知道他們的心思，就說：「你們為什麼心懷惡念呢？ 5 說『你的罪得到赦免了』容易呢？還是說『你起來行走』容易呢？ 6 如今我要讓你們知道人子在世上有赦罪的權柄。」於是祂對癱子說：「起來！收拾你的擔架回家去吧。」
7 那人立刻站起來，回家去了。 8 看見的人都充滿了敬畏，就讚美把這樣的權柄賜給人的上帝。
呼召馬太
9 耶穌離開那裡往前走，看見一個名叫馬太的人坐在收稅站裡，便對他說：「跟從我！」馬太就站起來跟從了耶穌。
10 耶穌在馬太家裡坐席的時候，很多稅吏和罪人前來跟耶穌和祂的門徒一起坐席。 11 法利賽人看見了，就質問耶穌的門徒：「你們的老師為何跟稅吏和罪人一起吃飯？」 12 耶穌聽見後，答道：「健康的人不需要醫生，有病的人才需要。 13 聖經上說，『我喜愛憐憫之心，而非祭物』，你們去揣摩這句話的意思吧。我來不是要召義人，乃是要召罪人。」
禁食的問題
14 那時，約翰的門徒來問耶穌：「我們和法利賽人常常禁食，為什麼你的門徒不禁食呢？」
15 耶穌對他們說：「新郎和賓客還在一起的時候，賓客怎能悲傷呢？但有一天新郎將被帶走，那時他們就要禁食了。
16 「沒有人用新布縫補舊衣，恐怕新布會把舊衣扯破，破洞會更大。 17 也沒有人用舊皮囊來盛新酒，否則皮囊會漲破，酒也漏了，皮囊也毀了。人們總是把新酒裝在新皮囊裡，以便兩樣都能保住。」
起死回生
18 當耶穌在說話的時候，來了一個管理會堂的人跪在祂面前，說：「我的女兒剛剛死了，請你去把手按在她身上，她就會活過來。」 19 耶穌和門徒就起身跟著他去了。 20 途中，有一個患了十二年血漏病的女人擠到耶穌的背後，摸了一下祂衣服的穗邊， 21 因為她心想：「我只要摸到祂的衣服，病就會好。」 22 耶穌轉過頭來，看見她，就說：「女兒，放心吧，你的信心救了你。」就在那一刻，她的頑疾痊癒了。
23 耶穌來到管理會堂之人的家，看見殯葬的吹樂手和亂嚷嚷的人群， 24 就吩咐他們：「你們出去吧，這女孩並沒有死，只是睡著了。」他們都譏笑祂。
25 耶穌讓眾人都出去，然後進去拉著女孩的手，女孩就起來了。 26 這件事傳遍了整個地區。
醫治瞎子和啞巴
27 耶穌從那裡往前走，有兩個瞎子跟著祂，高聲呼叫：「大衛的後裔啊，可憐我們吧！」
28 耶穌進了房子，那兩個瞎子來到祂面前。耶穌問他們：「你們相信我能做這事嗎？」他們說：「主啊，我們相信。」
29 於是，耶穌摸他們的眼睛，並說：「照你們的信心成全你們吧。」 30 他們立刻得見光明。耶穌鄭重地叮囑他們：「不要張揚這件事。」 31 但他們出去後把祂所行的事傳遍了那一帶。
32 他們正要離去，有人帶著一個被鬼附身的啞巴來見耶穌。 33 耶穌把鬼趕出去後，啞巴就能說話了。
眾人都感到驚奇，說：「在以色列從未見過這樣的事。」
34 法利賽人卻說：「祂只不過是靠鬼王趕鬼。」
耶穌憐憫眾人
35 耶穌走遍了各城各鄉，在會堂裡教導人，傳講天國的福音，醫治各樣的疾病。 36 祂看見眾人，心裡憐憫他們，因為他們困苦無助，好像沒有牧人的羊。 37 耶穌對門徒說：「要收割的莊稼很多，工人卻很少。 38 因此，你們要祈求莊稼的主人派更多的工人去收割。」

Curación de un paralítico
9 Y subiendo Jesús en una barca, pasó al otro lado y llegó a su ciudad(A). 2 (B)Y[a] le trajeron un paralítico echado en una camilla; y Jesús, viendo la fe de ellos, dijo al paralítico(C): Anímate(D), hijo, tus pecados te son perdonados(E). 3 Y[b] algunos de los escribas decían para sí[c]: Este blasfema(F). 4 Y Jesús, conociendo sus pensamientos(G), dijo: ¿Por qué pensáis mal en vuestros corazones? 5 Porque, ¿qué es más fácil, decir: «Tus pecados te son perdonados», o decir: «Levántate, y anda(H)»? 6 Pues para que sepáis que el Hijo del Hombre(I) tiene autoridad en la tierra para perdonar pecados (entonces dijo* al paralítico(J)): Levántate, toma tu camilla y vete a tu casa. 7 Y él levantándose, se fue a su casa. 8 Pero cuando las multitudes vieron esto, sintieron temor[d], y glorificaron a Dios(K), que había dado tal poder[e] a los hombres.
Llamamiento de Mateo y la cena en su casa
9 (L)Cuando Jesús se fue de allí, vio a un hombre llamado Mateo(M), sentado en la oficina de los tributos, y le dijo*: ¡Sígueme(N)! Y levantándose, le siguió.
10 Y sucedió que estando Él sentado[f] a la mesa en la casa, he aquí, muchos recaudadores de impuestos[g] y pecadores llegaron y se sentaron[h] a la mesa con Jesús y sus discípulos. 11 Y cuando vieron esto, los fariseos dijeron a sus discípulos: ¿Por qué come vuestro Maestro con los recaudadores de impuestos y pecadores(O)? 12 Al oír Él esto, dijo: Los que están sanos[i] no tienen necesidad de médico, sino los que están enfermos(P). 13 Mas id, y aprended lo que significa(Q): «Misericordia[j] quiero y no sacrificio(R)»; porque no he venido a llamar a justos, sino a pecadores(S).
Pregunta sobre el ayuno
14 Entonces se le acercaron* los discípulos de Juan, diciendo: ¿Por qué nosotros y los fariseos ayunamos(T), pero tus discípulos no ayunan? 15 Y Jesús les dijo: ¿Acaso los acompañantes del novio[k] pueden estar de luto mientras el novio está con ellos? Pero vendrán días cuando el novio les será[l] quitado, y entonces ayunarán. 16 Y nadie pone un remiendo[m] de tela nueva[n] en un vestido viejo; porque el remiendo[o] al encogerse tira del vestido y se produce una rotura peor. 17 Y nadie echa vino nuevo en odres[p] viejos, porque entonces[q] los odres se revientan, el vino se derrama y los odres se pierden; sino que se echa vino nuevo en odres nuevos, y ambos se conservan.
Curación de una mujer y resurrección de la hija de un oficial
18 (U)Mientras les decía estas cosas, he aquí, vino un oficial[r] de la sinagoga y se postró delante de Él[s](V), diciendo: Mi hija acaba de morir; pero ven y pon tu mano sobre ella, y vivirá. 19 Y levantándose Jesús, lo siguió, y también sus discípulos. 20 Y he aquí, una mujer que había estado sufriendo de flujo de sangre por doce años, se le acercó por detrás y tocó el borde de su manto(W); 21 pues decía para sí: Si tan solo toco su manto(X), sanaré[t]. 22 Pero Jesús, volviéndose y viéndola, dijo: Hija, ten ánimo(Y), tu fe te ha sanado[u](Z). Y al instante[v] la mujer quedó sana[w]. 23 Cuando entró Jesús en la casa del oficial[x], y vio a los flautistas(AA) y al gentío en ruidoso desorden, 24 les dijo: Retiraos, porque la niña[y] no ha muerto(AB), sino que está dormida. Y se burlaban de Él. 25 Pero cuando habían echado fuera a la gente(AC), Él entró y la tomó de la mano; y la niña[z] se levantó[aa](AD). 26 Y esta noticia[ab] se difundió por toda aquella tierra(AE).
Curación de dos ciegos y un mudo
27 Al irse Jesús de allí, dos ciegos le siguieron, gritando y diciendo: ¡Hijo de David(AF), ten misericordia de nosotros! 28 Y después de haber entrado en la casa, se acercaron a Él los ciegos, y Jesús les dijo*: ¿Creéis que puedo hacer esto? Ellos le respondieron*: Sí, Señor. 29 Entonces les tocó los ojos, diciendo: Hágase en vosotros según vuestra fe(AG). 30 Y se les abrieron los ojos. Y Jesús les advirtió rigurosamente(AH), diciendo: Mirad que nadie lo sepa. 31 Pero ellos, en cuanto salieron, divulgaron su fama por toda aquella tierra(AI).
32 Y al salir ellos de allí, he aquí, le trajeron un mudo(AJ) endemoniado(AK). 33 Y después que el demonio había sido expulsado, el mudo habló; y las multitudes se maravillaban, y decían: Jamás se ha visto[ac] cosa igual en Israel(AL). 34 Pero los fariseos decían: El echa fuera los demonios por el príncipe de los demonios(AM).
Ministerio de Jesús
35 Y Jesús recorría todas las ciudades y aldeas, enseñando en las sinagogas de ellos(AN), proclamando el evangelio del reino y sanando toda enfermedad y toda dolencia(AO). 36 Y viendo las multitudes(AP), tuvo compasión de ellas, porque estaban angustiadas y abatidas como ovejas que no tienen pastor(AQ). 37 Entonces dijo* a sus discípulos: La mies es mucha, pero los obreros pocos(AR). 38 Por tanto, rogad al Señor de la mies que envíe obreros a su mies.

Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralyzed Man(A)
9 Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town.(B) 2 Some men brought to him a paralyzed man,(C) lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith,(D) he said to the man, “Take heart,(E) son; your sins are forgiven.”(F)
3 At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!”(G)
4 Knowing their thoughts,(H) Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts? 5 Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 6 But I want you to know that the Son of Man(I) has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.” 7 Then the man got up and went home. 8 When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God,(J) who had given such authority to man.
The Calling of Matthew(K)
9 As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,”(L) he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.
10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”(M)
12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’[a](N) For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”(O)
Jesus Questioned About Fasting(P)
14 Then John’s(Q) disciples came and asked him, “How is it that we and the Pharisees fast often,(R) but your disciples do not fast?”
15 Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them?(S) The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.(T)
16 “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. 17 Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
Jesus Raises a Dead Girl and Heals a Sick Woman(U)
18 While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him(V) and said, “My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her,(W) and she will live.” 19 Jesus got up and went with him, and so did his disciples.
20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.(X) 21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”
22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart,(Y) daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.”(Z) And the woman was healed at that moment.(AA)
23 When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes,(AB) 24 he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead(AC) but asleep.”(AD) But they laughed at him. 25 After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.(AE) 26 News of this spread through all that region.(AF)
Jesus Heals the Blind and the Mute
27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”(AG)
28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
“Yes, Lord,” they replied.(AH)
29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”;(AI) 30 and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.”(AJ) 31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.(AK)
32 While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed(AL) and could not talk(AM) was brought to Jesus. 33 And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”(AN)
34 But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.”(AO)
The Workers Are Few
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.(AP) 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them,(AQ) because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.(AR) 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest(AS) is plentiful but the workers are few.(AT) 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
