痲瘋病痊癒
8 耶穌下山的時候，有許多人跟著。 2 有一個患痲瘋病的人跑來跪在祂跟前，說：「主啊，如果你肯，一定能使我潔淨。」
3 耶穌伸手摸他，說：「我肯，你潔淨了吧！」那人的痲瘋病就立刻潔淨了。
4 耶穌對他說：「不要把這事告訴別人，要去讓祭司查看你的身體，並且照摩西的規定獻祭，向眾人證明你已經潔淨了。」
百夫長的信心
5 耶穌到了迦百農，一個百夫長前來向祂求助，說： 6 「主啊，我的僕人癱瘓，躺在家裡，非常痛苦。」
7 耶穌說：「我這就去醫治他。」
8 百夫長說：「主啊，我不配讓你親自來我家。你只要說一句話，我僕人就會痊癒。 9 因為我有上司，也有部下。我命令我的部下去，他就去；要他來，他就來。我吩咐僕人做什麼事，他一定照辦。」
10 耶穌聽了，感到驚奇，便對跟隨祂的人說：「我實在告訴你們，我在以色列從未見過信心這麼大的人。 11 我告訴你們，將來有許多從東從西來的人會在天國與亞伯拉罕、以撒和雅各一同歡宴。 12 但那些本應承受天國的人反會被趕出去，在黑暗裡哀哭切齒。」
13 耶穌對百夫長說：「你回去吧！就照你所信的給你成就。」就在那時候，他的僕人便痊癒了。
治病趕鬼
14 耶穌來到彼得家，看見彼得的岳母正在發燒，躺在床上。 15 耶穌一摸她的手，燒就退了。她便起來服侍耶穌。
16 當天晚上，有人帶著許多被鬼附身的人來見耶穌。耶穌一句話就把鬼趕出去了，並醫好了所有的病人。 17 這是要應驗以賽亞先知的話：「祂擔當了我們的軟弱，背負了我們的疾病。」
跟從耶穌的代價
18 耶穌看到人群圍著祂，就吩咐門徒渡到湖對岸。 19 這時，有一位律法教師上前對耶穌說：「老師，無論你往哪裡去，我都要跟從你。」
20 耶穌說：「狐狸有洞，飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有安枕之處。」
21 另一個門徒對耶穌說：「主啊，請讓我先回去安葬我的父親。」 22 耶穌對他說：「跟從我，讓死人去埋葬他們的死人吧！」
平靜風浪
23 耶穌上了船，門徒也跟著祂上了船。 24 忽然，湖面上狂風大作，波濤洶湧，船快要被巨浪吞沒，耶穌卻在睡覺。
25 門徒連忙叫醒耶穌，說：「主啊，救命！我們快淹死了！」
26 耶穌答道：「你們的信心太小了，為什麼害怕呢？」於是祂起來斥責風和浪，風浪就完全平靜了。
27 門徒很驚奇，說：「祂究竟是什麼人？連風浪都聽祂的！」
治好兩個被鬼附身的人
28 耶穌到了對岸加大拉[a]人的地方，有兩個被鬼附身的人從墳地裡出來見祂。他們非常凶惡，沒有人敢從那裡經過。 29 他們喊著說：「上帝的兒子啊！我們和你有什麼關係？時候還沒有到，你就來叫我們受苦嗎？」
30 當時，有一大群豬在附近吃食。 31 鬼就哀求耶穌：「如果你要趕我們出去，就讓我們進入豬群吧！」
32 耶穌說：「去吧！」
於是，鬼從那二人身上出來，進入豬群，整群豬就一路奔下陡坡，衝進湖裡淹死了。 33 放豬的人逃進城，把事情的經過以及被鬼附身者的遭遇告訴了城裡的人。 34 於是，全城的人都出來見耶穌，見到後，便請求祂離開那地方。

A man with a skin disease
8 Now when Jesus had come down from the mountain, large crowds followed him. 2 A man with a skin disease came, kneeled before him, and said, “Lord, if you want, you can make me clean.”
3 Jesus reached out his hand and touched him, saying, “I do want to. Become clean.” Instantly his skin disease was cleansed. 4 Jesus said to him, “Don’t say anything to anyone. Instead, go and show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded. This will be a testimony to them.”
Healing of the centurion’s servant
5 When Jesus went to Capernaum, a centurion approached, 6 pleading with him, “Lord, my servant is flat on his back at home, paralyzed, and his suffering is awful.”
7 Jesus responded, “I’ll come and heal him.”
8 But the centurion replied, “Lord, I don’t deserve to have you come under my roof. Just say the word and my servant will be healed. 9 I’m a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and the servant does it.”
10 When Jesus heard this, he was impressed and said to the people following him, “I say to you with all seriousness that even in Israel I haven’t found faith like this. 11 I say to you that there are many who will come from east and west and sit down to eat with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom will be thrown outside into the darkness. People there will be weeping and grinding their teeth.” 13 Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it will be done for you just as you have believed.” And his servant was healed that very moment.
Healing of many people
14 Jesus went home with Peter and saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. 15 He touched her hand, and the fever left her. Then she got up and served them. 16 That evening people brought to Jesus many who were demon-possessed. He threw the spirits out with just a word. He healed everyone who was sick. 17 This happened so that what Isaiah the prophet said would be fulfilled: He is the one who took our illnesses and carried away our diseases.[a]
Discussions about following
18 Now when Jesus saw the crowd, he ordered his disciples to go over to the other side of the lake. 19 A legal expert came and said to him, “Teacher, I’ll follow you wherever you go.”
20 Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens, and the birds in the sky have nests, but the Human One[b] has no place to lay his head.”
21 Another man, one of his disciples, said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22 But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
Calming a storm
23 When Jesus got into a boat, his disciples followed him. 24 A huge storm arose on the lake so that waves were sloshing over the boat. But Jesus was asleep. 25 They came and woke him, saying, “Lord, rescue us! We’re going to drown!”
26 He said to them, “Why are you afraid, you people of weak faith?” Then he got up and gave orders to the winds and the lake, and there was a great calm.
27 The people were amazed and said, “What kind of person is this? Even the winds and the lake obey him!”
Jesus frees demon-possessed men
28 When Jesus arrived on the other side of the lake in the country of the Gadarenes, two men who were demon-possessed came from among the tombs to meet him. They were so violent that nobody could travel on that road. 29 They cried out, “What are you going to do with us, Son of God? Have you come to torture us before the time of judgment?” 30 Far off in the distance a large herd of pigs was feeding. 31 The demons pleaded with him, “If you throw us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
32 Then he said to the demons, “Go away,” and they came out and went into the pigs. The whole herd rushed down the cliff into the lake and drowned. 33 Those who tended the pigs ran into the city and told everything that had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34 Then the whole city came out and met Jesus. When they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.

4 耶 稣 对 他 说 ： 你 切 不 可 告 诉 人 ， 只 要 去 把 身 体 给 祭 司 察 看 ， 献 上 摩 西 所 吩 咐 的 礼 物 ， 对 众 人 作 证 据 。
5 耶 稣 进 了 迦 百 农 ， 有 一 个 百 夫 长 进 前 来 ， 求 他 说 ：
6 主 阿 ， 我 的 仆 人 害 瘫 痪 病 ， 躺 在 家 里 ， 甚 是 疼 苦 。

8 百 夫 长 回 答 说 ： 主 阿 ， 你 到 我 舍 下 ， 我 不 敢 当 ； 只 要 你 说 一 句 话 ， 我 的 仆 人 就 必 好 了 。
9 因 为 我 在 人 的 权 下 ， 也 有 兵 在 我 以 下 ； 对 这 个 说 ： 去 ！ 他 就 去 ； 对 那 个 说 ： 来 ！ 他 就 来 ； 对 我 的 仆 人 说 ： 你 作 这 事 ！ 他 就 去 作 。
10 耶 稣 听 见 就 希 奇 ， 对 跟 从 的 人 说 ： 我 实 在 告 诉 你 们 ， 这 麽 大 的 信 心 ， 就 是 在 以 色 列 中 ， 我 也 没 有 遇 见 过 。

18 耶 稣 见 许 多 人 围 着 他 ， 就 吩 咐 渡 到 那 边 去 。
19 有 一 个 文 士 来 ， 对 他 说 ： 夫 子 ， 你 无 论 往 那 里 去 ， 我 要 跟 从 你 。
20 耶 稣 说 ： 狐 狸 有 洞 ， 天 空 的 飞 鸟 有 窝 ， 人 子 却 没 有 枕 头 的 地 方 。
21 又 有 一 个 门 徒 对 耶 稣 说 ： 主 阿 ， 容 我 先 回 去 埋 葬 我 的 父 亲 。
22 耶 稣 说 ： 任 凭 死 人 埋 葬 他 们 的 死 人 ； 你 跟 从 我 罢 ！
23 耶 稣 上 了 船 ， 门 徒 跟 着 他 。
24 海 里 忽 然 起 了 暴 风 ， 甚 至 船 被 波 浪 掩 盖 ； 耶 稣 却 睡 着 了 。
25 门 徒 来 叫 醒 了 他 ， 说 ： 主 阿 ， 救 我 们 ， 我 们 丧 命 啦 ！
26 耶 稣 说 ： 你 们 这 小 信 的 人 哪 ， 为 甚 麽 胆 怯 呢 ？ 於 是 起 来 ， 斥 责 风 和 海 ， 风 和 海 就 大 大 的 平 静 了 。
27 众 人 希 奇 ， 说 ： 这 是 怎 样 的 人 ？ 连 风 和 海 也 听 从 他 了 ！
28 耶 稣 既 渡 到 那 边 去 ， 来 到 加 大 拉 人 的 地 方 ， 就 有 两 个 被 鬼 附 的 人 从 坟 茔 里 出 来 迎 着 他 ， 极 其 凶 猛 ， 甚 至 没 有 人 能 从 那 条 路 上 经 过 。
29 他 们 喊 着 说 ： 神 的 儿 子 ， 我 们 与 你 有 甚 麽 相 干 ？ 时 候 还 没 有 到 ， 你 就 上 这 里 来 叫 我 们 受 苦 麽 ？
30 离 他 们 很 远 ， 有 一 大 群 猪 吃 食 。
31 鬼 就 央 求 耶 稣 ， 说 ： 若 把 我 们 赶 出 去 ， 就 打 发 我 们 进 入 猪 群 罢 ！
32 耶 稣 说 ： 去 罢 ！ 鬼 就 出 来 ， 进 入 猪 群 。 全 群 忽 然 闯 下 山 崖 ， 投 在 海 里 淹 死 了 。
33 放 猪 的 就 逃 跑 进 城 ， 将 这 一 切 事 和 被 鬼 附 的 人 所 遭 遇 的 都 告 诉 人 。
34 合 城 的 人 都 出 来 迎 见 耶 稣 ， 既 见 了 就 央 求 他 离 开 他 们 的 境 界 。
