7 “不可判斷人，免得你們被判斷。 2 你們怎樣判斷人，也必怎樣被判斷；你們用甚麼標準衡量人，也必照樣被衡量。 3 為甚麼看見你弟兄眼中的木屑，卻不理會自己眼中的梁木呢？ 4 你自己眼中有梁木，怎能對弟兄說：‘讓我除掉你眼中的木屑’呢？ 5 偽君子啊！先除掉你眼中的梁木，才可以看得清楚，去除掉弟兄眼中的木屑。 6 不要把聖物給狗，也不要把你們的珍珠丟在豬前，免得牠們用腳把珍珠踐踏，又轉過來猛噬你們。
祈求就必得著(B)
7 “你們祈求，就給你們；尋找，就尋見；叩門，就給你們開門。 8 因為凡祈求的就得著，尋找的就尋見，叩門的就給他開門。 9 你們中間哪一個人，兒子向他要餅，反給他石頭； 10 要魚，反給他蛇呢？ 11 你們雖然邪惡，尚且知道把好東西給兒女，何況你們在天上的父，難道不更把好東西賜給求他的人嗎？ 12 所以，你們願意人怎樣待你們，你們也要怎樣待人，這是律法和先知的總綱。
13 “你們當進窄門，因為引到滅亡的門是寬的，路是大的，進去的人也多； 14 但引到生命的門是窄的，路是小的，找著的人也少。
壞樹不能結好果子(C)
15 “提防假先知！他們披著羊皮到你們當中，裡面卻是殘暴的狼。 16 憑著他們的果子就可以認出他們來：荊棘裡怎能摘到葡萄？蒺藜裡怎能摘到無花果呢？ 17 照樣，好樹結好果子，壞樹結壞果子； 18 好樹不能結壞果子，壞樹也不能結好果子。 19 凡是不結好果子的樹，就被砍下來，丟在火中。 20 因此你們憑著他們的果子就可以認出他們來。
21 “不是每一個對我說：‘主啊，主啊！’的人，都能進入天國，唯有遵行我天父旨意的人，才能進去。 22 到那日，必有許多人對我說：‘主啊，主啊！難道我們沒有奉你的名講道，奉你的名趕鬼，奉你的名行過許多神蹟嗎？’ 23 但我必向他們聲明：‘我從來不認識你們；你們這些作惡的人，離開我去吧！’
聽道要行道(D)
24 “所以，凡聽見我這些話又遵行的，就像聰明的人，把自己的房子蓋在磐石上。 25 雨淋、水沖、風吹，搖撼那房子，房子卻不倒塌，因為建基在磐石上。 26 凡聽見我這些話卻不遵行的，就像愚蠢的人，把自己的房子蓋在沙土上。 27 雨淋、水沖、風吹，搖撼那房子，房子就倒塌了，並且倒塌得很厲害。”
28 耶穌講完了這些話，群眾都驚奇他的教訓。 29 因為耶穌教導他們，像一個有權柄的人，不像他們的經學家。

No juzgar a la ligera (Lc 6,37-38.41-42)
7 No juzguen a nadie, para que Dios no los juzgue a ustedes. 2 Porque del mismo modo que juzguen a los demás, los juzgará Dios a ustedes, y los medirá con la misma medida con que ustedes midan a los demás. 3 ¿Por qué miras la brizna que tiene tu hermano en su ojo y no te fijas en el tronco que tienes en el tuyo? 4 ¿Cómo podrás decirle a tu hermano: “Deja que te saque la brizna que tienes en el ojo”, cuando tienes un tronco en el tuyo? 5 ¡Hipócrita! Saca primero el tronco de tu ojo, y entonces podrás ver con claridad para sacar la brizna del ojo de tu hermano.
6 No entreguen las cosas sagradas a los perros, ni echen sus perlas a los cerdos, pues las pisotearán y, revolviéndose, los harán pedazos a ustedes.
Orar con confianza (Lc 11,9-13)
7 Pidan, y Dios los atenderá; busquen, y encontrarán; llamen, y Dios les abrirá la puerta. 8 Pues todo el que pide, recibe, y el que busca, encuentra, y al que llama, Dios le abrirá la puerta. 9 ¿Quién de ustedes, si su hijo le pide pan, le dará una piedra? 10 ¿O si le pide pescado, le dará una serpiente? 11 Pues si ustedes, que son malos, saben dar cosas buenas a sus hijos, ¡cuánto más el Padre que está en los cielos se las dará también a quienes se las pidan!
La regla de oro (Lc 6,31)
12 Pórtense en todo con los demás como quieren que los demás se porten con ustedes. ¡En esto consisten la ley de Moisés y las enseñanzas de los profetas!
Dos puertas y dos caminos (Lc 13,24)
13 Entren por la puerta estrecha. La puerta que conduce a la perdición es ancha, y el camino fácil, y muchos son los que pasan por ellos. 14 En cambio, es estrecha la puerta y angosto el camino que llevan a la vida, y son pocos los que los encuentran.
Los falsos profetas (Lc 6,43-44)
15 Tengan cuidado con los falsos profetas. Se acercan a ustedes haciéndose pasar por ovejas, cuando en realidad son lobos feroces. 16 Por sus frutos los conocerán, pues no pueden recogerse uvas de los espinos, ni higos de los cardos. 17 Todo árbol sano da buenos frutos, mientras que el árbol enfermo da frutos malos. 18 Por el contrario, el árbol sano no puede dar fruto malo, como tampoco puede dar buen fruto el árbol enfermo. 19 Los árboles que dan mal fruto se cortan y se hace una hoguera con ellos. 20 Así pues, también ustedes conocerán a los falsos profetas por sus frutos.
Entrar o no entrar en el reino de los cielos (Lc 6,46; 13,25-27)
21 No todos los que dicen: “Señor, Señor” entrarán en el reino de los cielos, sino los que hacen la voluntad de mi Padre que está en los cielos. 22 Muchos me dirán en el día del juicio: “Señor, Señor, mira que en tu nombre hemos anunciado el mensaje de Dios, y en tu nombre hemos expulsado demonios, y en tu nombre hemos hecho muchos milagros”. 23 Pero yo les contestaré: “Ustedes me son totalmente desconocidos. ¡Apártense de mí, pues se han pasado la vida haciendo el mal!”.
Parábola de los dos cimientos (Lc 6,47-49)
24 Todo aquel que escucha mis palabras y obra en consecuencia, puede compararse a una persona sensata que construyó su casa sobre un cimiento de roca viva. 25 Vinieron las lluvias, se desbordaron los ríos y los vientos soplaron violentamente contra la casa; pero no cayó, porque estaba construida sobre un cimiento de roca viva. 26 En cambio, todo aquel que escucha mis palabras, pero no obra en consecuencia, puede compararse a una persona necia que construyó su casa sobre un terreno arenoso. 27 Vinieron las lluvias, se desbordaron los ríos y los vientos soplaron violentamente contra la casa que se hundió terminando en ruina total.
Conclusión del discurso
28 Cuando Jesús terminó este discurso, la gente estaba profundamente impresionada por sus enseñanzas, 29 porque los enseñaba con verdadera autoridad y no como los maestros de la ley.

7 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.(B) 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.(C)
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.
Ask, Seek, Knock(D)
7 “Ask and it will be given to you;(E) seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds;(F) and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts(G) to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you,(H) for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.(I)
The Narrow and Wide Gates
13 “Enter through the narrow gate.(J) For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
True and False Prophets
15 “Watch out for false prophets.(K) They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.(L) 16 By their fruit you will recognize them.(M) Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?(N) 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.(O) 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.(P) 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
True and False Disciples
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’(Q) will enter the kingdom of heaven,(R) but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.(S) 22 Many will say to me on that day,(T) ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’(U) 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’(V)

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice(X) is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
28 When Jesus had finished saying these things,(Y) the crowds were amazed at his teaching,(Z) 29 because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.

Don’t Be Judgmental of Others. But Use Discernment In Your Actions Toward Others
7 “Do not be judging[a], in order that you may not be judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with what measure you measure, it will be measured to you. 3 And why do you look-at the speck in the eye of your brother, but do not consider[b] the log in your eye? 4 Or how will you say to your brother, ‘Permit me to take out the speck from your eye’, and behold— the log is in your eye? 5 Hypocrite! First take out the log from your eye, and then you will see-clearly to take out the speck from the eye of your brother. 6 Do not give the holy thing to the dogs[c], nor throw your pearls in front of the pigs, so that they will not perhaps trample them with their feet, and having turned, tear you to pieces.
Keep Pursuing What You Need From God. He Will Give You Good Things
7 “Be asking, and it will be given to you; be seeking, and you will find; be knocking, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone asking receives; and the one seeking finds; and to the one knocking, it will be opened. 9 Or what person is there from-among you whom his son will ask-for bread— he will not give him a stone[d], will he? 10 Or indeed he will ask-for a fish— he will not give him a snake[e], will he? 11 Therefore if you, being evil, know-how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in the heavens give good things to the ones asking Him!
Treat Others As You Yourself Want To Be Treated
12 “Therefore, everything that you want[f] people to be doing to you, thus also you be doing to them. For this is the Law and the Prophets.
Enter God’s Kingdom Through The Narrow Gate, Which Is Found By Few
13 “Enter through the narrow gate, because wide is the gate and broad[g] is the road leading-away to destruction— and many are the ones entering through it. 14 How narrow is the gate and constricted[h] is the road leading-away to life— and few are the ones finding it.
Beware of False Prophets. The Nature of What They Produce Will Reveal Them
15 “Beware of the false-prophets— who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inside are ravenous[i] wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. They do not collect grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Thus, every good tree produces good fruit, but the bad tree produces bad[j] fruit. 18 A good tree is not able to produce bad fruit, nor is a bad tree able to produce good[k] fruit. 19 Every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 So indeed, you will know them by their fruits.
Not Everyone Talking About God Knows Him. Only Those Doing His Will Enter His Kingdom
21 “Not everyone saying to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of My Father in the heavens. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and cast-out demons in Your name, and do many miracles[l] in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare[m] to them that ‘I never knew[n] you. Depart from Me, ones working lawlessness’. 24 Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and is doing them will be-like a wise[o] man who built his house upon the bed-rock. 25 And the rain came down, and the rivers[p] came, and the winds blew— and they fell against that house. And it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the bed-rock. 26 And everyone hearing these words of Mine and not doing them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand. 27 And the rain came down, and the rivers came, and the winds blew— and they struck-against that house. And it fell, and the falling[q] of it was great”.
The Works of The King: Divine Power In Action
28 And it came about that when Jesus finished these words, the crowds were astounded[r] at His teaching. 29 For He was teaching them as One having authority, and not as their scribes.

Or, He may mean every ‘good’ fruit tree produces ‘healthy’ fruit, but the ‘rotten’ fruit tree produces ‘bad’ fruit or none at all.
- Matthew 7:18 good... bad... bad... good. That is, the ‘beneficial’ type of tree cannot produce ‘useless’ fruit, nor the ‘unusable’ tree fruit ‘fit’ to eat; or, the ‘good’ fruit tree cannot produce ‘bad’ fruit, nor can the ‘rotten’ fruit tree produce ‘healthy’ fruit.
