10 兒子要魚，卻給他蛇呢？ 11 所以，如果你們做為惡人也知道把好的東西給自己的兒女，更何況你們在天上的父要把美好的賜給求他的人呢！ 12 因此在任何事上，你們希望別人怎樣對待你們，你們也應當怎樣對待別人。要知道，這就是律法和先知[a]的教導[b]。

10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts(A) to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you,(B) for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.(C)
