⁶⁰雖然有很多假證人誣告祂，但都找不到真憑實據。最後有兩個人上前高聲說：

⁶¹「這個人曾經說過，『我能拆毀聖殿，三天內把它重建起來。』」

⁶²大祭司站起來質問耶穌：「你不回答嗎？這些人作證控告你的是什麼呢？」

⁶⁰可是尽管很多人出来作伪证，他们还是找不出杀害耶稣的理由。最后有两个人过来说： ⁶¹“这个人说∶‘我可以毁掉上帝的大殿，然后在三天之内重建它。’”

⁶²大祭司站起来，问耶稣∶“对这些人的指控，你有什么要说的吗？”

⁶⁰虽然有许多人前来作假证供，却找不着证据。最后有两个人前来说： ⁶¹“这人说过：‘我可以拆毁　神的圣所，三日之内又把它建造起来。’” ⁶²大祭司就站起来，对耶稣说：“你为甚么不回答？这些人作证，控告你的是甚么呢？”

⁶⁰But they did not find any, though many false witnesses^(A) came forward.

Finally two^(B) came forward ⁶¹and declared, “This fellow said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”^(C)

⁶²Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?”
