登山變象
17 六天後，耶穌帶著彼得、雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰暗暗地登上一座高山。 2 耶穌在他們面前改變了形像，面貌如太陽一樣發光，衣服潔白如光。 3 忽然，摩西和以利亞一起出現，跟耶穌談話。 4 彼得對耶穌說：「主啊，我們在這裡好極了。如果你願意，我就在這裡搭三座帳篷，一座給你，一座給摩西，一座給以利亞。」
5 他正在說話的時候，一朵燦爛的雲彩籠罩他們。雲中傳出聲音：「這是我的愛子，我甚喜悅祂，你們要聽從祂。」
6 門徒聽見這聲音，便俯伏在地，非常懼怕。 7 耶穌就過來摸他們，說：「起來吧，別害怕。」 8 他們抬起頭來，看見只剩下耶穌一個人。
9 下山時，耶穌叮囑他們：「人子還沒有從死裡復活以前，不要把剛才看見的告訴別人。」
10 門徒問耶穌：「律法教師為什麼說以利亞必須先來？」
11 耶穌回答說：「以利亞的確要來，他將復興一切。 12 但我告訴你們，以利亞已經來了，人們卻不認識他，甚至還任意對待他。人子同樣也會在他們手下受苦。」 13 門徒這才明白耶穌所說的是指施洗者約翰。
治好被鬼附身的孩子
14 他們回到山下眾人聚集的地方。有一個人過來跪在耶穌跟前，說： 15 「主啊！救救我的兒子吧！他患了癲癇症，痛苦極了，曾經幾次跌進火中，掉進水裡。 16 我帶他去見你的門徒，但他們卻不能治好他。」
17 耶穌說：「唉！這世代又不信又敗壞的人啊，我要跟你們在一起待多久？我要容忍你們多久呢？把他帶來吧。」 18 耶穌斥責附在孩子身上的鬼，鬼就離開了那孩子，從此他就好了。
19 事後，門徒私下問耶穌：「我們為什麼趕不走那鬼呢？」
20 耶穌說：「你們的信心太小了。我實在告訴你們，你們若有像芥菜種那樣大的信心，就算叫這座山從這裡移到那裡，它也會移開，你們將沒有辦不到的事。 21 至於這一類的鬼，你們必須禱告和禁食才能把牠趕走。」
耶穌第二次預言受害和復活
22 他們聚集在加利利的時候，耶穌對他們說：「人子將要被出賣，交在人手裡。 23 他們將殺害祂，第三天祂將復活。」門徒聽了，十分憂愁。
從魚口得稅錢
24 他們來到迦百農，有幾個收聖殿稅的來問彼得：「你們的老師不納聖殿稅嗎？」
25 彼得說「納！」他進了屋，還沒開口，耶穌便問他：「西門，你有何看法？世上的君王向誰徵收賦稅？向自己的兒子呢，還是向外人呢？」
26 彼得答道：「向外人。」
耶穌說：「所以兒子不用納稅。 27 但為了避免得罪這些人，你就去湖邊釣魚，把釣上來的第一條魚的嘴打開，裡面有一個錢幣，拿它去繳你我的稅好了。」

17 过了六天，耶稣带着彼得、雅各和雅各的弟弟约翰，领他们悄悄地上了高山。 2 耶稣在他们面前改变了形象，脸好象太阳一样照耀，衣服洁白像光。 3 忽然，摩西和以利亚向他们显现，跟耶稣谈话。 4 彼得对耶稣说：“主啊，我们在这里真好。如果你愿意，我就在这里搭三个帐棚，一个为你，一个为摩西，一个为以利亚。” 5 彼得还说话的时候，有一朵明亮的云彩笼罩他们，云中有声音说：“这是我的爱子，我所喜悦的，你们要听他。” 6 门徒听见了，就俯伏在地上，非常害怕。 7 耶稣前来，摸着他们说：“起来，不用怕。” 8 他们抬起头来，看见只有耶稣自己，没有别的人。
9 他们下山的时候，耶稣吩咐他们：“人子从死人中复活以前，你们不要把所看见的异象告诉人。” 10 门徒就问他：“那么经学家为甚么说，以利亚必须先来呢？” 11 他回答：“以利亚当然要来，并且复兴一切。 12 但我告诉你们，以利亚已经来了，可是人们却不认识他，反而任意待他。照样，人子也要这样被他们苦待。” 13 这时门徒才领悟，耶稣是指着施洗的约翰说的。

14 耶稣和门徒来到群众那里，有一个人前来，跪下对耶稣说： 15 “主啊，可怜我的儿子吧，他患了癫痫病，非常痛苦，好几次掉进火里和水中。 16 我带他去见你的门徒，他们却不能医好他。” 17 耶稣说：“唉！这又不信又乖谬的世代啊！我要跟你们在一起到几时呢？我要忍受你们到几时呢？把孩子带到我这里来吧。” 18 耶稣斥责那鬼，鬼就从孩子身上出来；从那时起，孩子就好了。 19 门徒悄悄地前来问耶稣：“为甚么我们不能把鬼赶出去呢？” 20 他说：“因为你们的信心太小了。我实在告诉你们，只要你们的信心像一粒芥菜种，就是对这山说：‘从这里移到那里’，它也必移开。没有甚么是你们不能作的。”（有些抄本有第21节：“这一类的鬼，如果不靠祷告和禁食，是赶不出来的。”）
第二次预言受难及复活(C)
22 他们聚集在加利利的时候，耶稣对门徒说：“人子将要被交在人的手里， 23 他们要杀害他，第三天他要复活。”他们就很忧愁。
缴纳殿税
24 他们来到迦百农，收殿税的人前来对彼得说：“你们的老师不纳税吗？” 25 他说：“纳。”他进到屋子里，耶稣先问他：“西门，你认为怎样？地上的君王向谁征收关税和丁税？向自己的儿子还是外人呢？” 26 他回答：“外人。”耶稣对他说：“这样，儿子就可以免税了。 27 但为了避免触犯他们，你要到海边去钓鱼；把第一条钓上来的鱼拿起来，打开鱼的嘴，你就会找到一个大银币。你可以拿去交给他们作你我的殿税。”

Jesus’ transformation
17 Six days later Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them to the top of a very high mountain. 2 He was transformed in front of them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as light.
3 Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Jesus. 4 Peter reacted to all of this by saying to Jesus, “Lord, it’s good that we’re here. If you want, I’ll make three shrines: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
5 While he was still speaking, look, a bright cloud overshadowed them. A voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son whom I dearly love. I am very pleased with him. Listen to him!” 6 Hearing this, the disciples fell on their faces, filled with awe.
7 But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.” 8 When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.
9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Don’t tell anybody about the vision until the Human One[a] is raised from the dead.”
10 The disciples asked, “Then why do the legal experts say that Elijah must first come?”
11 Jesus responded, “Elijah does come first and will restore all things. 12 In fact, I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they didn’t know him. But they did to him whatever they wanted. In the same way the Human One[b] is also going to suffer at their hands.” 13 Then the disciples realized he was telling them about John the Baptist.
Healing of a boy who was demon-possessed
14 When they came to the crowd, a man met Jesus. He knelt before him, 15 saying, “Lord, show mercy to my son. He is epileptic and suffers terribly, for he often falls into the fire or the water. 16 I brought him to your disciples, but they couldn’t heal him.”
17 Jesus answered, “You faithless and crooked generation, how long will I be with you? How long will I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” 18 Then Jesus spoke harshly to the demon. And it came out of the child, who was healed from that time on.
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and said, “Why couldn’t we throw the demon out?”
20 “Because you have little faith,” he said. “I assure you that if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Go from here to there,’ and it will go. There will be nothing that you can’t do.”[c]
Second prediction of Jesus’ death and resurrection
22 When the disciples came together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Human One[d] is about to be delivered over into human hands. 23 They will kill him. But he will be raised on the third day.” And they were heartbroken.
Paying the temple tax
24 When they came to Capernaum, the people who collected the half-shekel temple tax came to Peter and said, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax?”
25 “Yes,” he said.
But when they came into the house, Jesus spoke to Peter first.“What do you think, Simon? From whom do earthly kings collect taxes, from their children or from strangers?”
26 “From strangers,” he said.
Jesus said to him, “Then the children don’t have to pay. 27 But just so we don’t offend them, go to the lake, throw out a fishing line and hook, and take the first fish you catch. When you open its mouth, you will find a shekel coin. Take it and pay the tax for both of us.”

9 Akutsika ku phiriko, Yesu anawalamula kuti, “Musawuze wina aliyense zimene mwaona, mpaka Mwana wa Munthu ataukitsidwa kwa akufa.”
10 Ophunzira anamufunsa Iye kuti, “Nanga nʼchifukwa chiyani aphunzitsi amalamulo amati Eliya ayenera kukhala woyamba kubwera?”
11 Yesu anayankha kuti, “Kunena zoona, Eliya adzayenera kubwera ndipo adzakonza zinthu zonse. 12 Koma Ine ndikuwuzani inu kuti Eliya anabwera kale koma iwo sanamuzindikire ndipo anachita naye chilichonse chimene anafuna. Momwemonso iwo adzazunza Mwana wa Munthu.” 13 Pamenepo ophunzira anazindikira kuti amawawuza za Yohane Mʼbatizi.

14 Atafika ku gulu la anthu, munthu wina anamuyandikira Yesu ndi kugwada pamaso pake. 15 Iye anati, “Ambuye, muchitireni chifundo mwana wanga akudwala matenda akugwa ndipo akuvutika kwambiri. Kawirikawiri iye amagwa pa moto kapena mʼmadzi. 16 Ine ndinabwera naye kwa ophunzira anu koma alephera kumuchiritsa.”
17 Yesu anayankha nati, “Haa, mʼbado wosakhulupirira ndi wokhota maganizo! Kodi ndidzakhala nanu mpaka liti? Ndidzapirira nanu mpaka liti? Bwera nayeni kwa Ine mnyamatayo.” 18 Yesu anadzudzula chiwandacho ndipo chinatuluka mwa mnyamatayo ndipo anachira nthawi yomweyo.
19 Pamenepo ophunzira anabwera kwa Yesu mwamseri ndi kumufunsa kuti, “Chifukwa chiyani ife tinalephera kutulutsa chiwandacho?”
20 Iye anayankha kuti, “Chifukwa inu muli ndi chikhulupiriro chachingʼono. Zoonadi, Ine ndikuwuzani kuti ngati muli ndi chikhulupiriro monga kambewu ka mpiru, mukhoza kunena ndi phiri ili kuti, ‘Choka apa nupite apo,’ ndipo lidzachoka. Palibe kanthu kamene kadzakukanikani. 21 Chiwanda cha mtundu uwu sichingachoke chabe koma ndi pemphero ndi kusala kudya.”

Yesu Apereka Msonkho
24 Yesu ndi ophunzira ake atafika ku Kaperenawo, wolandira msonkho wa ku Nyumba ya Mulungu anabwera kwa Petro namufunsa kuti, “Kodi aphunzitsi anu sapereka msonkho wa Nyumba ya Mulungu?”
25 Iye anayankha kuti, “Inde amapereka.”
Petro atalowa mʼnyumba, Yesu ndiye anayamba kuyankhula. Ndipo anamufunsa kuti, “Ukuganiza bwanji Simoni, kodi mafumu a dziko lapansi amalandira msonkho kuchokera kwa ana awo kapena kwa ena?”
26 Petro anayankha kuti, “Kuchokera kwa ena.”
Yesu ananena kwa iye kuti, “Ndiye kuti ana sapereka.” 27 Koma kuti ife tisawakhumudwitse pita ku nyanja kaponye mbedza yako. Katenge nsomba imene ukayambe kuyikola; kayitsekule kukamwa ndipo ukapezamo ndalama. Katenge ndalamayo ndi kukapereka msonkho wanga ndi wanu.
