撒種的比喻
13 當那一天，耶穌從房子裡出來，坐在海邊。 2 有許多人到他那裡聚集，他只得上船坐下，眾人都站在岸上。 3 他用比喻對他們講許多道理，說：「有一個撒種的出去撒種。 4 撒的時候，有落在路旁的，飛鳥來吃盡了。 5 有落在土淺石頭地上的，土既不深，發苗最快， 6 日頭出來一曬，因為沒有根，就枯乾了。 7 有落在荊棘裡的，荊棘長起來，把它擠住了。 8 又有落在好土裡的，就結實，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。 9 有耳可聽的，就應當聽！」
用比喻的因由
10 門徒進前來，問耶穌說：「對眾人講話為什麼用比喻呢？」 11 耶穌回答說：「因為天國的奧祕只叫你們知道，不叫他們知道。 12 凡有的，還要加給他，叫他有餘；凡沒有的，連他所有的也要奪去。 13 所以我用比喻對他們講，是因他們看也看不見，聽也聽不見，也不明白。 14 在他們身上，正應了以賽亞的預言說：『你們聽是要聽見，卻不明白；看是要看見，卻不曉得。 15 因為這百姓油蒙了心，耳朵發沉，眼睛閉著，恐怕眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裡明白，回轉過來，我就醫治他們。』 16 但你們的眼睛是有福的，因為看見了；你們的耳朵也是有福的，因為聽見了。
解明撒種的比喻
17 「我實在告訴你們：從前有許多先知和義人要看你們所看的，卻沒有看見；要聽你們所聽的，卻沒有聽見。 18 所以，你們當聽這撒種的比喻： 19 凡聽見天國道理不明白的，那惡者就來，把所撒在他心裡的奪了去，這就是撒在路旁的了。 20 撒在石頭地上的，就是人聽了道，當下歡喜領受， 21 只因心裡沒有根，不過是暫時的，及至為道遭了患難，或是受了逼迫，立刻就跌倒了。 22 撒在荊棘裡的，就是人聽了道，後來有世上的思慮、錢財的迷惑把道擠住了，不能結實。 23 撒在好地上的，就是人聽道明白了，後來結實，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。」
稗子的比喻
24 耶穌又設個比喻對他們說：「天國好像人撒好種在田裡， 25 及至人睡覺的時候，有仇敵來，將稗子撒在麥子裡就走了。 26 到長苗吐穗的時候，稗子也顯出來。 27 田主的僕人來告訴他說：『主啊，你不是撒好種在田裡嗎？從哪裡來的稗子呢？』 28 主人說：『這是仇敵做的。』僕人說：『你要我們去薅出來嗎？』 29 主人說：『不必，恐怕薅稗子，連麥子也拔出來。 30 容這兩樣一齊長，等著收割。當收割的時候，我要對收割的人說：先將稗子薅出來，捆成捆，留著燒，唯有麥子要收在倉裡。』」
芥菜種的比喻
31 他又設個比喻對他們說：「天國好像一粒芥菜種，有人拿去種在田裡。 32 這原是百種裡最小的，等到長起來，卻比各樣的菜都大，且成了樹，天上的飛鳥來宿在它的枝上。」
麵酵的比喻
33 他又對他們講個比喻說：「天國好像麵酵，有婦人拿來藏在三斗麵裡，直等全團都發起來。」 34 這都是耶穌用比喻對眾人說的話，若不用比喻，就不對他們說什麼。 35 這是要應驗先知的話說：「我要開口用比喻，把創世以來所隱藏的事發明出來。」
解明稗子的比喻
36 當下，耶穌離開眾人，進了房子。他的門徒進前來，說：「請把田間稗子的比喻講給我們聽。」 37 他回答說：「那撒好種的就是人子， 38 田地就是世界，好種就是天國之子，稗子就是那惡者之子， 39 撒稗子的仇敵就是魔鬼，收割的時候就是世界的末了，收割的人就是天使。 40 將稗子薅出來用火焚燒，世界的末了也要如此。 41 人子要差遣使者，把一切叫人跌倒的和作惡的，從他國裡挑出來， 42 丟在火爐裡，在那裡必要哀哭切齒了。 43 那時，義人在他們父的國裡要發出光來，像太陽一樣。有耳可聽的，就應當聽！
藏寶於田與尋珠的比喻
44 「天國好像寶貝藏在地裡，人遇見了就把它藏起來，歡歡喜喜地去變賣一切所有的，買這塊地。
45 「天國又好像買賣人尋找好珠子， 46 遇見一顆重價的珠子，就去變賣他一切所有的，買了這顆珠子。
撒網的比喻
47 「天國又好像網撒在海裡，聚攏各樣水族。 48 網既滿了，人就拉上岸來，坐下，揀好的收在器具裡，將不好的丟棄了。 49 世界的末了也要這樣。天使要出來，從義人中把惡人分別出來， 50 丟在火爐裡，在那裡必要哀哭切齒了。」
51 耶穌說：「這一切的話你們都明白了嗎？」他們說：「我們明白了。」 52 他說：「凡文士受教做天國的門徒，就像一個家主從他庫裡拿出新舊的東西來。」
拿撒勒人厭棄耶穌
53 耶穌說完了這些比喻，就離開那裡， 54 來到自己的家鄉，在會堂裡教訓人，甚至他們都稀奇，說：「這人從哪裡有這等智慧和異能呢？ 55 這不是木匠的兒子嗎？他母親不是叫馬利亞嗎？他弟兄們不是叫雅各、約西[a]、西門、猶大嗎？ 56 他妹妹們不是都在我們這裡嗎？這人從哪裡有這一切的事呢？」 57 他們就厭棄他[b]。耶穌對他們說：「大凡先知，除了本地、本家之外，沒有不被人尊敬的。」 58 耶穌因為他們不信，就在那裡不多行異能了。

The Parable of the Sower(A)
13 On the same day Jesus went out of the house (B)and sat by the sea. 2 (C)And great multitudes were gathered together to Him, so that (D)He got into a boat and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
3 Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: (E)“Behold, a sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. 6 But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. 8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some (F)a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 (G)He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
The Purpose of Parables(H)
10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”
11 He answered and said to them, “Because (I)it has been given to you to know the [a]mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. 12 (J)For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:
(K)‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand,
And seeing you will see and not (L)perceive;
15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears (M)are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have (N)closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I [b]should (O)heal them.’
16 But (P)blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; 17 for assuredly, I say to you (Q)that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
The Parable of the Sower Explained(R)
18 (S)“Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19 When anyone hears the word (T)of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately (U)receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when (V)tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately (W)he stumbles. 22 Now (X)he who received seed (Y)among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears (Z)fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares
24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but (AA)gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”
The Parable of the Mustard Seed(AB)
31 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: (AC)“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, 32 which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a (AD)tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.”
The Parable of the Leaven(AE)
33 (AF)Another parable He spoke to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three [c]measures of meal till (AG)it was all leavened.”
Prophecy and the Parables
34 (AH)All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them, 35 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:
(AI)“I will open My mouth in parables;
(AJ)I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.”
The Parable of the Tares Explained
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.”
37 He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 (AK)The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are (AL)the sons of the wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, (AM)the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, (AN)and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 (AO)and will cast them into the furnace of fire. (AP)There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 (AQ)Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. (AR)He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
The Parable of the Hidden Treasure
44 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and (AS)sells all that he has and (AT)buys that field.
The Parable of the Pearl of Great Price
45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found (AU)one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
The Parable of the Dragnet
47 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and (AV)gathered some of every kind, 48 which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. 49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, (AW)separate the wicked from among the just, 50 and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
51 [d]Jesus said to them, “Have you understood all these things?”
They said to Him, “Yes, [e]Lord.”
52 Then He said to them, “Therefore every [f]scribe instructed [g]concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure (AX)things new and old.”
Jesus Rejected at Nazareth(AY)
53 Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, that He departed from there. 54 (AZ)When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? 55 (BA)Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And (BB)His brothers (BC)James, [h]Joses, Simon, and Judas? 56 And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?” 57 So they (BD)were offended at Him.
But Jesus said to them, (BE)“A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” 58 Now (BF)He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Parábola del sembrador

Propósito de las parábolas

«(J)Al oír oiréis, y no entenderéis;
y viendo veréis, y no percibiréis;
15 porque el corazón de este pueblo se ha vuelto insensible[g]
y con dificultad oyen con sus oídos;
y sus ojos han cerrado,
no sea que vean con los ojos,
y oigan con los oídos,
y entiendan con el corazón,
y se conviertan,
y yo los sane(K)».
16 (L)Pero dichosos vuestros ojos, porque ven, y vuestros oídos, porque oyen. 17 Porque en verdad os digo que muchos profetas y justos desearon ver lo que vosotros veis, y no lo vieron(M); y oír lo que vosotros oís, y no lo oyeron.
Explicación de la parábola del sembrador
18 (N)Vosotros, pues, escuchad la parábola del sembrador. 19 A todo el que oye la palabra del reino(O) y no la entiende, el maligno viene(P) y arrebata lo que fue sembrado en su corazón. Este es aquel en quien se sembró la semilla junto al camino. 20 Y aquel en quien se sembró la semilla en pedregales, este es el que oye la palabra y enseguida la recibe con gozo; 21 pero no tiene raíz profunda en sí mismo, sino que solo es temporal, y cuando por causa de la palabra viene la aflicción o la persecución, enseguida tropieza y cae(Q). 22 Y aquel en quien se sembró la semilla entre espinos, este es el que oye la palabra, mas las preocupaciones del mundo[h](R) y el engaño de las riquezas(S) ahogan la palabra, y se queda sin fruto. 23 Pero aquel en quien se sembró la semilla en tierra buena, este es el que oye la palabra y la entiende, este sí da fruto y produce, uno a ciento, otro a sesenta y otro a treinta(T).
Parábola del trigo y la cizaña
24 Jesús les refirió otra parábola, diciendo: El reino de los cielos(U) puede compararse a[i] un hombre que sembró buena semilla en su campo. 25 Pero mientras los hombres dormían, vino su enemigo y sembró cizaña[j] entre el trigo, y se fue. 26 Cuando el trigo[k] brotó y produjo grano, entonces apareció también la cizaña. 27 Y los siervos del dueño fueron y le dijeron: «Señor, ¿no sembraste buena semilla en tu campo? ¿Cómo[l], pues, tiene cizaña?». 28 Él les dijo: «Un enemigo[m] ha hecho esto». Y los siervos le dijeron*: «¿Quieres, pues, que vayamos y la recojamos?». 29 Pero él dijo*: «No, no sea que al recoger la cizaña, arranquéis el trigo junto con ella. 30 Dejad que ambos crezcan juntos hasta la siega; y al tiempo de la siega diré a los segadores: “Recoged primero la cizaña y atadla en manojos para quemarla, pero el trigo recogedlo en mi granero(V)”».
Parábola del grano de mostaza
31 Les refirió otra parábola, diciendo: (W)El reino de los cielos es semejante a un grano de mostaza(X), que un hombre tomó y sembró en su campo, 32 y que de todas las semillas es la más pequeña; pero cuando ha crecido, es la mayor de las hortalizas, y se hace árbol, de modo que las aves del cielo vienen y anidan en sus ramas(Y).
Parábola de la levadura
33 Les dijo otra parábola: (Z)El reino de los cielos es semejante a la levadura que una mujer tomó y escondió en tres medidas[n] de harina hasta que todo quedó fermentado(AA).
34 Todo esto habló Jesús en parábolas a las multitudes, y nada les hablaba sin parábola(AB), 35 para que se cumpliera lo dicho por medio del profeta, cuando dijo:
Abriré mi boca en parábolas;
hablare de cosas ocultas desde la fundación del mundo(AC).
Explicación de la parábola del trigo y la cizaña
36 Entonces dejó a la multitud y entró en la casa(AD). Y se le acercaron sus discípulos, diciendo: Explícanos la parábola de la cizaña del campo(AE). 37 Y respondiendo Él, dijo: El que siembra la buena semilla es el Hijo del Hombre(AF), 38 y el campo es el mundo; y la buena semilla son[o] los hijos del reino(AG), y la cizaña son los hijos(AH) del maligno(AI); 39 y el enemigo que la sembró es el diablo, y la siega es el fin[p] del mundo[q](AJ), y los segadores son los ángeles. 40 Por tanto, así como la cizaña se recoge y se quema en el fuego, de la misma manera será en el fin[r] del mundo[s](AK). 41 El Hijo del Hombre(AL) enviará a sus ángeles(AM), y recogerán de su reino a todos los que son piedra de tropiezo[t] y a los que hacen iniquidad(AN); 42 y los echarán en el horno de fuego(AO); allí será el llanto y el crujir de dientes(AP). 43 Entonces los justos resplandecerán como el sol(AQ) en el reino de su Padre. Parábolas del tesoro escondido y la perla de gran valor
44 El reino de los cielos(AS) es semejante a un tesoro escondido en el campo, que al encontrarlo un hombre, lo vuelve a esconder, y de alegría por ello, va, vende todo lo que tiene(AT) y compra aquel campo.
45 El reino de los cielos(AU) también es semejante a un mercader que busca perlas finas, 46 y al encontrar una perla de gran valor, fue y vendió todo lo que tenía y la compró.
Parábola de la red barredera
47 El reino de los cielos(AV) también es semejante a una red barredera que se echó en el mar, y recogió peces de toda clase; 48 y cuando se llenó, la sacaron a la playa; y se sentaron y recogieron los peces buenos en canastas[v], pero echaron fuera los malos. 49 Así será en el fin[w] del mundo[x](AW); los ángeles saldrán, y sacarán[y] a los malos de entre los justos, 50 y los arrojarán en el horno de fuego(AX); allí será el llanto y el crujir de dientes(AY).
Parábola del dueño de casa
51 ¿Habéis entendido todas estas cosas? Ellos le dijeron*: Sí. 52 Y Él les dijo: Por eso todo escriba que se ha convertido en un discípulo del reino de los cielos es semejante al[z] dueño de casa que saca de su tesoro cosas nuevas y cosas viejas.
Jesús enseña en Nazaret
53 Y sucedió que cuando Jesús terminó estas parábolas, se fue de allí(AZ). 54 (BA)Y llegando a su pueblo, les enseñaba en su sinagoga(BB), de tal manera que se maravillaban(BC) y decían: ¿Dónde obtuvo este esta sabiduría y estos poderes milagrosos[aa]? 55 ¿No es este el hijo del carpintero? ¿No se llama su madre María, y sus hermanos(BD) Jacobo[ab], José, Simón y Judas? 56 ¿No están todas sus hermanas(BE) con nosotros? ¿Dónde, pues, obtuvo este todas estas cosas? 57 Y se escandalizaban a causa de Él(BF). Pero Jesús les dijo: No hay profeta sin honra, sino en su propia tierra y en su casa(BG). 58 Y no hizo muchos milagros[ac] allí a causa de la incredulidad de ellos.
