7 你們聽見打仗和打仗的風聲，不要驚慌，這些事是必須有的，只是末期還沒有到。 8 民要攻打民，國要攻打國，多處必有地震、饑荒，這都是災難[a]的起頭。
忍耐到底必要得救
9 「但你們要謹慎，因為人要把你們交給公會，並且你們在會堂裡要受鞭打，又為我的緣故站在諸侯與君王面前，對他們作見證。 10 然而，福音必須先傳給萬民。

7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
9 “You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues.(A) On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. 10 And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.
