在信的人凡事都能
23 耶穌對他說：「你若能信，在信的人，凡事都能。」 24 孩子的父親立時喊著說[b]：「我信！但我信不足，求主幫助！」 25 耶穌看見眾人都跑上來，就斥責那汙鬼，說：「你這聾啞的鬼，我吩咐你從他裡頭出來，再不要進去！」 26 那鬼喊叫，使孩子大大地抽了一陣風，就出來了。孩子好像死了一般，以致眾人多半說：「他是死了。」 27 但耶穌拉著他的手，扶他起來，他就站起來了。 28 耶穌進了屋子，門徒就暗暗地問他說：「我們為什麼不能趕出他去呢？」 29 耶穌說：「非用禱告[c]，這一類的鬼總不能出來[d]。」
預言受難
30 他們離開那地方，經過加利利，耶穌不願意人知道。 31 於是教訓門徒，說：「人子將要被交在人手裡，他們要殺害他，被殺以後過三天他要復活。」 32 門徒卻不明白這話，又不敢問他。
爭論誰為大
33 他們來到迦百農，耶穌在屋裡問門徒說：「你們在路上議論的是什麼？」 34 門徒不作聲，因為他們在路上彼此爭論誰為大。 35 耶穌坐下，叫十二個門徒來，說：「若有人願意做首先的，他必做眾人末後的，做眾人的用人。」 36 於是領過一個小孩子來，叫他站在門徒中間，又抱起他來，對他們說： 37 「凡為我名接待一個像這小孩子的，就是接待我；凡接待我的，不是接待我，乃是接待那差我來的。」
奉主名的不易謗主
38 約翰對耶穌說：「夫子，我們看見一個人奉你的名趕鬼，我們就禁止他，因為他不跟從我們。」 39 耶穌說：「不要禁止他，因為沒有人奉我名行異能，反倒輕易毀謗我。 40 不敵擋我們的，就是幫助我們的。 41 凡因你們是屬基督，給你們一杯水喝的，我實在告訴你們：他不能不得賞賜。 42 凡使這信我的一個小子跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在這人的頸項上，扔在海裡。 43 倘若你一隻手叫你跌倒，就把它砍下來！ 44 你缺了肢體進入永生，強如有兩隻手落到地獄，入那不滅的火裡去。 45 倘若你一隻腳叫你跌倒，就把它砍下來！ 46 你瘸腿進入永生，強如有兩隻腳被丟在地獄裡。 47 倘若你一隻眼叫你跌倒，就去掉它！你只有一隻眼進入神的國，強如有兩隻眼被丟在地獄裡。 48 在那裡，蟲是不死的，火是不滅的。 49 因為必用火當鹽醃各人[e]。 50 鹽本是好的，若失了味，可用什麼叫它再鹹呢？你們裡頭應當有鹽，彼此和睦。」

9 And he said to them, “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come(A) with power.”(B)
The Transfiguration(C)(D)
2 After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John(E) with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. 3 His clothes became dazzling white,(F) whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. 4 And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus.
5 Peter said to Jesus, “Rabbi,(G) it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” 6 (He did not know what to say, they were so frightened.)
7 Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud:(H) “This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!”(I)
8 Suddenly, when they looked around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus.
9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus gave them orders not to tell anyone(J) what they had seen until the Son of Man(K) had risen from the dead. 10 They kept the matter to themselves, discussing what “rising from the dead” meant.
11 And they asked him, “Why do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?”
12 Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah does come first, and restores all things. Why then is it written that the Son of Man(L) must suffer much(M) and be rejected?(N) 13 But I tell you, Elijah has come,(O) and they have done to him everything they wished, just as it is written about him.”
Jesus Heals a Boy Possessed by an Impure Spirit(P)
14 When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them. 15 As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.
16 “What are you arguing with them about?” he asked.
17 A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. 18 Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.”
19 “You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”
20 So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.(Q)
21 Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?”
“From childhood,” he answered. 22 “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”
23 “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”(R)
24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene,(S) he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”
26 The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.
28 After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately,(T) “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
29 He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer.[a]”
Jesus Predicts His Death a Second Time(U)
30 They left that place and passed through Galilee. Jesus did not want anyone to know where they were, 31 because he was teaching his disciples. He said to them, “The Son of Man(V) is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him,(W) and after three days(X) he will rise.”(Y) 32 But they did not understand what he meant(Z) and were afraid to ask him about it.
33 They came to Capernaum.(AA) When he was in the house,(AB) he asked them, “What were you arguing about on the road?” 34 But they kept quiet because on the way they had argued about who was the greatest.(AC)
35 Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”(AD)
36 He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms,(AE) he said to them, 37 “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”(AF)
Whoever Is Not Against Us Is for Us(AG)
38 “Teacher,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.”(AH)
39 “Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “For no one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, 40 for whoever is not against us is for us.(AI) 41 Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward.(AJ)
Causing to Stumble
42 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble,(AK) it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea.(AL) 43 If your hand causes you to stumble,(AM) cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell,(AN) where the fire never goes out.(AO) [44] [b] 45 And if your foot causes you to stumble,(AP) cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell.(AQ) [46] [c] 47 And if your eye causes you to stumble,(AR) pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell,(AS) 48 where
49 Everyone will be salted(AU) with fire.
50 “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again?(AV) Have salt among yourselves,(AW) and be at peace with each other.”(AX)

Преображење

2 Шест дана касније, Исус са собом поведе Петра, Јакова и Јована, Доведе их на једну високу гору, где су били сасвим сами, и пред њима се преобрази. 3 Одећа му постаде сјајна и блиставо бела – таква да је ниједан белилац на земљи не би могао тако избелити. 4 Тада се пред њима појавише Илија и Мојсије и почеше да разговарају са Исусом.
5 Петар рече Исусу: »Раби, добро је што смо овде. Подићи ћемо три сенице: теби једну, Мојсију једну и Илији једну.«
6 Није, наиме, знао шта друго да каже пошто их је обузео страх.
7 Тада се појави облак и засени их, а из облака се зачу глас: »Ово је мој љубљени Син! Њега слушајте!«
8 И одједном, кад се обазреше, поред себе не видеше више никог осим Исуса.

17 А један из народа му одговори: »Учитељу, довео сам ти свога сина, који има духа немости. 18 Кад га спопадне, баца га на земљу, уста му се запене, шкргуће зубима и кочи се. Замолио сам твоје ученике да га истерају, али нису могли.«
19 »О, неверни нараштају«, рече им Исус, »докле ћу још морати да будем с вама? Докле ћу још морати да вас подносим? Доведите ми га.«
20 И они му га доведоше.
Када је дух угледао Исуса, одмах протресе дечака, који паде на земљу и поче да се ваља на све стране, а на уста му удари пена.
21 »Колико дуго је већ овакав?« упита Исус његовог оца.
А овај рече: »Још од малих ногу. 22 И често га баца чак и у ватру и у воду да га убије. Него, ако можеш нешто да учиниш, смилуј нам се и помози нам.«
23 »Ако можеш?« рече Исус. »Све је могуће ономе ко верује.«
24 А дечаков отац одмах повика: »Верујем! Помози мојој невери!«
25 Када је Исус видео да све више народа притрчава к њима, запрети нечистом духу рекавши му: »Душе немости и глувоће, заповедам ти: изађи из њега и никад више у њега не улази!«
26 И дух повика, жестоко протресе дечака и изађе. А дечак остаде као мртав, па многи рекоше да је умро. 27 Али Исус га узе за руку и подиже га, и он устаде.
28 Када је ушао у кућу, његови ученици га насамо упиташе: »Зашто ми нисмо могли да га истерамо?«

35 Тада Исус седе, позва к себи Дванаесторицу, па им рече: »Ко хоће да буде први, нека буде међу свима последњи и свима служитељ.«
36 Онда узе једно дете, постави га међу њих, загрли га, па им рече: 37 »Ко год прими једно овакво дете у моје име, мене прима. А ко прима мене, не прима мене, него Онога који ме је послао.«
Ко није против нас, тај је за нас

38 »Учитељу«, рече му Јован, »видели смо једнога како у твоје име истерује демоне. Забранили смо му, јер није један од нас.«
39 »Не браните му«, рече Исус, »јер нико ко у моје име учини чудо не може одмах рђаво да говори о мени. 40 Ко није против нас, тај је за нас. 41 Ко вам пружи чашу воде зато што сте Христови, истину вам кажем: неће изгубити своју награду.«

9 And He said to them, “Truly I say to you that there are some of those who stand here who shall not taste of death till they have seen the Kingdom of God come with power.”
2 And six days later, Jesus took with Him Peter, and James, and John, and brought them up into a high mountain, out of the way, alone. And His shape was changed before them.
3 And His clothing shined, and was very white, as snow; whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them.
4 And Elijah appeared to them, with Moses. And they were talking with Jesus.
5 Then Peter answered, and said to Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us make three tabernacles; one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
6 Yet he did not know what he said. For they were afraid.
7 And there was a cloud that shadowed them. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him.”
8 And suddenly they looked around and saw no one, except Jesus.
9 And as they came down from the mountain, He instructed them to tell no one what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead again.
10 So they kept that matter to themselves and asked each another what the ‘rising from the dead again’ might mean.
11 Also they asked Him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
12 And He answered, and said to them, “Elijah truly shall come first, and restore all things. And as it is written of the Son of Man, He must suffer many things and be rejected.
13 “But I say to you, that Elijah has come. And they have done to him whatever they would, as it is written of him.”
14 And when He came to His disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and the scribes disputing with them.
15 And immediately all the people, when they saw Him, were amazed and ran to Him and greeted Him.
16 Then He asked the scribes, “What are you disputing among yourselves?”
17 And one of the crowd answered, and said, “Master, I have brought my son to You, who has a mute spirit!
18 And wherever I have taken him, the spirit has seized him. And he foams and gnashes his teeth and pines away. And I asked Your disciples to cast him out and they could not.”
19 Then Jesus answered him, and said, “O faithless generation! How long now shall I be with you? How long now shall I put up with you?! Bring him to Me.”
20 So they brought him to Jesus. And as soon as the spirit saw Him, he seized the child. And he fell down on the ground wallowing and foaming.
21 Then He asked his father, “How long has he been this way?” And he said, “His whole childhood.
22 “And often he casts him into the fire, or into the water, to destroy him. But if You can do anything, help us and have compassion upon us.”
23 And Jesus said to him, “If you can believe it, all things are possible to the one who believes.”
24 And immediately the father of the child, crying with tears, said, “Lord, I believe! Help my unbelief!”
25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, “You dumb and deaf spirit, I command you come out of him! And enter into him no more!”
26 Then the spirit cried, and seized the child again, and came out. And the child was as one dead; so much so that many said, “He is dead.”
27 But Jesus took his hand and lifted him up. And he arose.
28 And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him secretly, “Why couldn’t we cast him out?”
29 And He said to them, “This kind can come forth by no other means but prayer and fasting.”
30 And they left there and went together through Galilee. And He would not allow them to tell anyone.
31 For He taught His disciples, and said to them, “The Son of Man shall be delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill Him. But after He is killed, He shall rise again the third day.”
32 But they did not understand that saying and were afraid to ask Him.
33 After that, He came to Capernaum. And when He was in the house, He asked them, “What were you disputing among you on the way?”
34 And they kept silent. For along the way they had debated who should be first among them.
35 And He sat down and called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant to all.”
36 And He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And He took him in His arms and said to them,
37 “Whoever shall receive one of these little children in My Name, receives Me. And whoever receives Me, receives not Me, but He Who sent Me.”
38 Then John answered Him, saying, “Master, we saw one casting out demons by Your Name who does not follow us. And we forbade him because he does not follow us.”
39 But Jesus said, “Do no forbid him. For there is no one who can do a miracle by My Name who can lightly speak evil of Me.
40 “For whoever is not against us, is on our side.
41 “And whoever shall give you a cup of water to drink for My Name’s sake (because you belong to Christ), truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.
42 “And whoever shall cause one of these little ones who believes in Me to stumble, it were better for him if a millstone were hanged around his neck and that he were cast into the sea.
43 “So if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed, than to have two hands and go into Hell; into the fire that never shall be quenched,
44 ‘Where their worm dies not, and the fire never goes out.’
45 “Likewise, if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, than to have two feet and be cast into Hell; into the fire that never shall be quenched,
46 ‘Where their worm dies not, and the fire never goes out.’
47 “And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to go into the Kingdom of God with one eye, than to have two eyes and be cast into Hell fire,
48 ‘Where their worm dies not, and the fire never goes out.’
49 “For everyone shall be salted with fire. And every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.
50 “Salt is good, but if the salt is tasteless, with what shall it be seasoned? Have salt in yourselves and have peace one with another.”
