陰謀殺害耶穌
14 過兩天就是逾越節和除酵節了。祭司長們和經文士們在圖謀怎樣用詭計拘捕耶穌，把他殺掉。 2 不過他們說：「不可在節日期間，免得民眾發生騷亂。」
在伯大尼被膏抹
3 耶穌在伯大尼，在痲瘋病人西門家裡坐席的時候，有一個女人拿著一個玉瓶進來。瓶裡盛著[a]極其貴重的純哪噠香液。她打破玉瓶，把香液澆在耶穌的頭上。 4 有些人心裡很不滿，說：「為什麼要這樣浪費香液呢？ 5 這香液本來可以賣三百多個銀幣[b]，分給窮人。」他們就責備那女人。
6 耶穌說：「由她吧！你們為什麼為難她呢？她為我做了一件美好的事。 7 要知道，你們總是有窮人與你們在一起，只要你們願意，隨時可以為他們做好事。但你們不總是有我。 8 她盡她所能的做了。她是為我的安葬，預先膏抹了我的身體。 9 我確實地告訴你們：在全世界，福音無論傳到什麼地方，這女人所做的事也將被述說，做為對她的記念。」
10 那時候，加略人猶大，就是十二使徒[c]中的一個，到祭司長們那裡去，要把耶穌交給他們。 11 他們聽了就歡喜，並且許諾給他銀錢。於是猶大就圖謀怎樣找機會把耶穌交出去。
預備逾越節的晚餐
12 除酵節的第一日，就是人們宰殺逾越節羔羊的那一天，耶穌的門徒們問他：「你要我們到哪裡去預備，好讓你吃逾越節的晚餐呢？」
13 於是耶穌差派了他的兩個門徒，對他們說：「你們進城去，會有一個人提著一罐水迎面而來，你們就跟著他。 14 他進哪一家，你們就對那家的主人說：『老師問：我的客房，就是我與我的門徒們一起吃逾越節晚餐的客房在哪裡呢？』 15 他會給你們看樓上一間預備好的大房間。你們就在那裡為我們預備吧。」 16 兩個門徒出去，進了城，所看到的正如耶穌對他們所說的。他們就預備了逾越節的晚餐。
在逾越節被出賣
17 到了晚上，耶穌與十二使徒一起來了。 18 他們坐著吃飯的時候，耶穌說：「我確實地告訴你們：你們當中有一個人要出賣我，他正與我一起吃飯。」
19 他們開始感到憂傷，就一個接一個地問耶穌：「不會是我吧？」
20 耶穌對他們說：「是你們十二使徒中的一個。他正與我一同在盤子裡蘸餅。 21 人子確實要離去，正如經上指著他所寫的，但是出賣人子的那個人有禍了。對他來說，沒有出生倒好。」
第一次聖餐
22 在他們吃的時候，耶穌拿起餅來，祝福了，就掰開，遞給門徒們，說：「你們領受[d]吧，這是我的身體。」
23 接著，他拿起杯來，祝謝了，遞給門徒們。他們都喝了。 24 耶穌對他們說：「這是我的血，是為立約[e]的，為許多人所流的。 25 我確實地告訴你們：我絕不再喝這葡萄汁[f]，直到我在神的國裡喝新的那一天。」 26 他們唱了讚美詩[g]，就出來，往橄欖山去了。
預言彼得不認主
27 耶穌對他們說：「你們都將被絆倒[h]，因為經上記著：
『我將擊打牧人，
羊群就被分散。』[i]
28 但是我復活以後，要在你們之前到加利利去。」
29 彼得對耶穌說：「即使所有的人被絆倒[j]，我還是不會。」
30 可是耶穌對他說：「我確實地告訴你：今天，就在今夜，雞叫兩遍以前，你會三次不認我。」
31 彼得卻堅決[k]地說：「就算我必須與你同死，我也絕不會不認你。」所有的門徒也都這麼說。
園中的禱告
32 他們來到一個名叫客西馬尼的地方。耶穌對他的門徒們說：「我禱告的時候，你們坐在這裡。」 33 他帶了彼得、雅各和約翰一起去。這時候，他開始憂懼起來，極其難過， 34 對他們說：「我的靈魂很憂傷，幾乎要死。你們留在這裡，要警醒。」 35 耶穌稍往前走，俯伏在地，禱告說，如果有可能，讓那時刻離開他。 36 他說：「阿爸！父啊！在你，沒有不可能的事，請把這杯從我這裡拿走吧！但不要照我的意願，而要照你的意願。」
37 耶穌回來，看見他們睡著了，就對彼得說：「西門，你睡著了？難道你不能警醒一個小時嗎？ 38 要警醒禱告，免得陷入試探。你們心靈雖然願意，肉體卻是軟弱的。」
39 耶穌又去禱告，說了同樣的話。 40 他又回來，看見他們在睡覺，因為他們的眼皮發沉，也不知道要回答耶穌什麼。 41 耶穌第三次回來，對他們說：「你們還在睡覺、休息嗎？已經夠了，時候到了！看哪，人子被交在[l]罪人的手裡了。 42 起來，我們走吧！看，那出賣我的人快到了！」
猶大親吻的暗號
43 耶穌還在說話的時候，忽然十二使徒之一的猶大來了。有一群人拿著刀劍和棍棒與他一起來，他們是祭司長們、經文士們和長老們所派來的。 44 那出賣耶穌的人已經和他們定了一個暗號，說：「我如果親吻誰，誰就是那個人。你們把他抓住，小心地帶走。」 45 猶大一到，就上前對耶穌說：「拉比！」然後親吻了他。 46 他們就下手拘捕了耶穌。 47 站在旁邊的一個門徒拔出刀來，向大祭司的奴僕砍去，削掉了他的一個耳朵。
48 耶穌對他們說：「你們帶著刀劍和棍棒出來抓我，就像對付強盜那樣嗎？ 49 我天天在聖殿裡教導人，和你們在一起，而你們不抓我。不過這是為要應驗那些經文。」 50 這時候，所有的門徒都離開他逃跑了。
51 有一個年輕人，赤身披上一塊細麻布，跟在耶穌後面。那些人[m]就抓住他， 52 可是他卻丟下麻布，赤著身子逃跑了。
在議員面前受審
53 他們把耶穌帶到大祭司那裡。所有的祭司長、長老和經文士都聚在一起。 54 彼得遠遠地跟著耶穌，直到進了大祭司的院子裡。他與差役們一起坐在火邊取暖。
55 當時，祭司長們和全議會的人為了要處死耶穌，都在尋找證據來控告他。可是他們找不出什麼。 56 許多人做偽證誣告他，可是這些證詞互相矛盾。 57 有一些人站起來做偽證控告他，說： 58 「我們聽他說過『我要拆毀這座人手所造的聖所，三天內另建一座不是人手所造的。』」 59 可是他們這個證詞也是互相矛盾的。
60 於是大祭司就起來站到中間問耶穌，說：「對這些人控告你的事，你什麼都不回應嗎？」 61 耶穌沉默不語，什麼也不回答。大祭司又問他，說：「你是基督——那當受頌讚者的兒子嗎？」
62 耶穌說：「我就是。而且你們將看見人子坐在全能者的右邊，在天上的雲彩中來臨。[n]」
63 大祭司就撕裂自己的衣服，說：「難道我們還需要什麼見證人嗎？ 64 你們都聽見了這褻瀆的話。你們怎麼看？」
他們都判定他是該死的。 65 接著，有些人開始向他吐唾沫，蒙住他的臉，用拳頭打他，對他說：「你說預言吧！」差役們也用手掌打他。
彼得不認主
66 彼得正在下邊院子裡的時候，大祭司的一個女僕過來了。 67 她看見彼得在取暖，就注視著他，說：「你也與那個拿撒勒人耶穌是一夥的。」
68 彼得卻否認說：「我既不明白，也不知道你在說什麼。」於是他就出去，到了門廊。這時候，雞叫了[o]。
69 那女僕看見他，又開始對站在旁邊的人說：「這個人是與他們一夥的。」
70 彼得再次否認。過了一會兒，站在旁邊的人又對彼得說：「你真的是與他們一夥的，因為你也是加利利人[p]。」
71 他就開始賭咒並起誓說：「我不認識你們所講的這個人。」
72 立時，雞叫了第二遍。彼得想起耶穌對他說過的話：「雞叫兩遍以前，你會三次不認我」，他就忍不住痛哭起來。

犹太人首领计划杀害耶稣
14 还有两天就到犹太逾越节和除酵节了。祭司长和律法师们想设法用诡计把耶稣抓起来杀掉。 2 可他们又说∶“我们决不能在过节的时候动手，免得引起人们暴动。”
一位女子荣耀耶稣
3 在伯大尼，耶稣在麻风病人西门家里，正倚着桌子坐着，一位女子拿着一个雪花石制成的罐子，里面装满纯哪哒制成的昂贵香膏。她打破罐子，把香膏倒在耶稣头上。
4 旁边的人见了都非常生气，议论说∶“为什么要浪费这些香膏呢？它值一年的工钱呢，我们可以拿卖它的钱救济穷人。” 5 于是他们就责怪起那位妇人。
6 耶稣说∶“随她吧。你们为什么要和她过不去呢？她为我做了一件大好事。 7 因为总有穷人和你们在一起，所以你们想在什么时候帮助他们都可以。可是你们将不会常有我。 8 她已经尽力而为了。她事先把香膏倒在我身上，为我的葬礼做准备。 9 我实话告诉你们：普天下只要是福音传到的地方，这女子的所作所为将被永远传颂纪念。”
犹大同意帮助耶稣的敌人
10 十二使徒中的加略人犹大到祭司长那里，要把耶稣出卖给他们。 11 那些人听了犹大的话十分高兴，许诺给他赏钱。从此，犹大便开始伺机出卖耶稣。
逾越节的宴席
12 在除酵节的第一天，就是宰杀逾越节的羔羊 [a]的日子，耶稣的门徒们对他说∶“您想要我们到哪里去为您准备逾越节的晚宴呢？”
13 耶稣于是吩咐两个门徒说∶“你们到城里去，在那儿你们会遇见一个提着一罐水的人。你们跟着他走， 14 不管他走进哪座房子，你们也跟进去，对房主说∶‘老师问你：哪间客房是我和我的使徒吃逾越节宴的地方？’ 15 他会带你们到楼上的一个大房间里去，房间里的摆设一切俱全，这房间已准备好了。你们就在那里为我们预备宴席。”
16 那两个门徒动身到城里去，发现一切正像耶稣所说的。于是，他们把逾越节的宴席准备好了。
17 晚上，耶稣和十二使徒来了。 18 他们在餐桌边吃饭时，耶稣说∶“我实话告诉你们，你们当中有个人要出卖我，他现在正和我一起吃饭。”
19 使徒听到此都很难过，每个人都对耶稣说∶“这个人肯定不是我吧？”
20 耶稣说∶“他就是你们十二人当中的一个，他正在和我在同一个碟子里蘸饼。 21 人子就要走了，就像《经》上记载的一样。但是那个出卖人子的人定要遭殃了，他还不如不出世好。”
主的晚餐
22 当他们吃饭的时候，耶稣拿起饼，向上帝谢恩之后，然后他掰开饼，分给使徒们。他说∶“拿去，吃了这饼，这是我的身体。”
23 耶稣又端起酒 [b]杯，向上帝谢恩以后，把杯子递给使徒，他们都喝了杯中的酒。 24 耶稣说∶“这是我的血，它是为了宽恕许多人而流的，以便开始上帝对他子民的新契约。 25 我实话告诉你们，我再也不喝酒了，直到我在上帝的王国里饮新酒的那天。”

耶稣说他的门徒将离开他
27 耶稣对门徒们说∶“你们都将丧失信仰。因为《经》上写着：
‘我要杀死牧羊人。
羊群就会四处逃散。’ (A)
28 但是在我复活以后，我会比你们先到加利利。”
29 这时彼得说∶“即使其他所有的人对您失去了信仰，我也不会这样做。”
30 耶稣对他说∶“我实话告诉你：今天，就在今夜鸡叫两遍以前，你会三次说你不认识我。”
31 彼得却坚决地说∶“即使我必须和您一同死，我也决不会说我不认识您。”其他门徒也这么说。
独自祈祷
32 耶稣他们来到一个叫作客西马尼的地方。耶稣对门徒们说∶“我去祈祷，你们坐在这里。” 33 他带着彼得、雅各和约翰一起去了。这时耶稣非常悲伤痛苦。 34 他对他们说∶“我内心充满了沉重的悲伤，我痛苦得快要死了。和我一起警惕地守候着吧。”
35 耶稣又向前走了一点，匍匐在地上祈祷。祈求如果有可能，让他免遭那受难的时刻。 36 他说∶“阿爸 [c]，父，上帝，您是万能的，把这杯苦酒端开吧。不过，请不要做我想的事，而是按您的意愿去做吧。”
37 耶稣返回来，发现彼得他们都睡着了。他叫彼得∶“西门，你睡着了吗？难道你和我在一起时，连一个钟头都不能清醒吗？ 38 清醒吧，祈祷吧，免受诱惑。虽然你们的心灵愿意，但是你们的肉体却是软弱的。”
39 耶稣又去祈祷，仍旧祈祷刚才那番话。 40 然后，他又回到门徒那里，发现他们又睡着了。他们困得睁不开眼睛，不知对耶稣说什么才好。
41 耶稣祈祷了第三次，回来时，对彼得他们说∶“你们还在睡觉休息呢，够了！时辰到了！人子就要被出卖，落到罪人的手里。 42 起来，咱们得走了！你们瞧，出卖我的人来了。”
耶稣被捕
43 耶稣正说话时，十二使徒中的犹大，祭司长、律法师和年长的犹太首领派来的一大群人来了。他们手拿着刀剑和棍棒。
44 出卖耶稣的犹大已和他们约定了暗号。他说∶“我吻的人就是耶稣，你们把他抓起来押走。” 45 犹大一来就径直朝耶稣走去，说“拉比（老师）！”然后就吻他。 46 于是，那些人抓住耶稣，逮捕了他。 。 47 站在耶稣近处的一个门徒拔出剑来，朝大祭司 [d]的奴仆砍去，砍掉了他的一只耳朵。
48 这时耶稣对他们说∶“你们这么拿刀动棍地来抓我，好像我是一个罪犯。 49 我每天在大殿院里传教时都和你们在一起，那时候你们却不来抓我。不过，这样的情形恰好应验了《经》上的话。” 50 这时，耶稣的门徒们都抛下他逃走了。
51 可是有个年轻人仍然跟着耶稣。他赤身披着一块麻布片。那些人想抓住他， 52 年轻人甩下麻布片，赤身裸体地跑了。
耶稣在犹太首领面前
53 那伙人把耶稣押到大祭司的府邸。所有的祭司长、年长的犹太首领和律法师们都来了。 54 彼得远远地跟着耶稣，也进了大祭司的院子。他和警卫们在一起，坐在火堆边取暖。
55 祭司长们和议会所有的人们都企图找到证据判耶稣死刑，可是谁也找不到。 56 虽然有许多人作伪证陷害耶稣，但他们的证词却彼此矛盾。
57 这时有一些人站起来作伪证，他们说： 58 “我们听他说过这样的话∶‘我要把这座人造的大殿毁掉，并在三天之内重建一座殿，一座不是由人建造的殿。’” 59 即使在这一点上，人们的说法也彼此不一致。
60 这时大祭司站起来，问耶稣说∶“这些人在控告你，你有什么要辩解的吗？对这些人的证词，你有什么要说的？” 61 耶稣沉默不语。
大祭司又问道∶“你就是受到祝福的上帝之子基督吗？”
62 耶稣回答说∶“我是。你们将看到人子坐在万能的上帝右边，驾着天上的云来临。”
63 大祭司听了这话，非常懊恼，撕扯着自己的衣服说∶“我们不再需要别的证据了！ 64 你们都听见了他这些亵渎上帝的话。你们说该怎么办？”
所有的人都诅咒耶稣，说他有罪，说他该死。 65 有些人还朝耶稣吐唾沫，蒙住他的脸，用拳头打他，还对他说∶“先知，说说是谁在打你呢。”卫兵们带走了耶稣，还殴打他。
彼得不敢说他认识耶稣
66 那时彼得还在院子里。大祭司的一个女仆走进来， 67 看见彼得正在烤火，她仔细打量他， 说道∶“你也是和那个拿撒勒的耶稣在一起的人。”
68 彼得不敢承认，说∶“我不明白你在说什么。”然后他就躲到院子外面的过道上去了。这时候鸡叫头遍。
69 那个女仆又看见彼得，就对站在周围的人说∶“这人是和耶稣在一起的。” 70 彼得仍旧否认。
又过了一会，站在周围的人对彼得说∶“你肯定是和耶稣在一起的，因为你是加利利人。”
71 彼得用自己的性命赌咒发誓说∶“我不认识你们提到的那个人。” 72 这时，鸡叫二遍。彼得想起耶稣对他说过的话∶“鸡叫两遍之前，你会三次说不认识我。”他忍不住痛哭起来。

The Plot against Jesus(A)
14 (B)It was now two days before the Festival of Passover and Unleavened Bread. The chief priests and the teachers of the Law were looking for a way to arrest Jesus secretly and put him to death. 2 “We must not do it during the festival,” they said, “or the people might riot.”
Jesus Is Anointed at Bethany(C)
3 (D)Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon, a man who had suffered from a dreaded skin disease. While Jesus was eating, a woman came in with an alabaster jar full of a very expensive perfume made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on Jesus' head. 4 Some of the people there became angry and said to one another, “What was the use of wasting the perfume? 5 It could have been sold for more than three hundred silver coins[a] and the money given to the poor!” And they criticized her harshly.
6 But Jesus said, “Leave her alone! Why are you bothering her? She has done a fine and beautiful thing for me. 7 (E)You will always have poor people with you, and any time you want to, you can help them. But you will not always have me. 8 She did what she could; she poured perfume on my body to prepare it ahead of time for burial. 9 Now, I assure you that wherever the gospel is preached all over the world, what she has done will be told in memory of her.”
Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus(F)
10 Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went off to the chief priests in order to betray Jesus to them. 11 They were pleased to hear what he had to say, and promised to give him money. So Judas started looking for a good chance to hand Jesus over to them.
Jesus Eats the Passover Meal with His Disciples(G)
12 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the day the lambs for the Passover meal were killed, Jesus' disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go and get the Passover meal ready for you?”
13 Then Jesus sent two of them with these instructions: “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him 14 to the house he enters, and say to the owner of the house: ‘The Teacher says, Where is the room where my disciples and I will eat the Passover meal?’ 15 Then he will show you a large upstairs room, fixed up and furnished, where you will get everything ready for us.”
16 The disciples left, went to the city, and found everything just as Jesus had told them; and they prepared the Passover meal.
17 When it was evening, Jesus came with the twelve disciples. 18 (H)While they were at the table eating, Jesus said, “I tell you that one of you will betray me—one who is eating with me.”
19 The disciples were upset and began to ask him, one after the other, “Surely you don't mean me, do you?”
20 Jesus answered, “It will be one of you twelve, one who dips his bread in the dish with me. 21 The Son of Man will die as the Scriptures say he will; but how terrible for that man who will betray the Son of Man! It would have been better for that man if he had never been born!”
The Lord's Supper(I)
22 While they were eating, Jesus took a piece of bread, gave a prayer of thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples. “Take it,” he said, “this is my body.”
23 Then he took a cup, gave thanks to God, and handed it to them; and they all drank from it. 24 (J)Jesus said, “This is my blood which is poured out for many, my blood which seals God's covenant. 25 I tell you, I will never again drink this wine until the day I drink the new wine in the Kingdom of God.”
26 Then they sang a hymn and went out to the Mount of Olives.
Jesus Predicts Peter's Denial(K)
27 (L)Jesus said to them, “All of you will run away and leave me, for the scripture says, ‘God will kill the shepherd, and the sheep will all be scattered.’ 28 (M)But after I am raised to life, I will go to Galilee ahead of you.”
29 Peter answered, “I will never leave you, even though all the rest do!”
30 Jesus said to Peter, “I tell you that before the rooster crows two times tonight, you will say three times that you do not know me.”
31 Peter answered even more strongly, “I will never say that, even if I have to die with you!”
And all the other disciples said the same thing.
Jesus Prays in Gethsemane(N)
32 They came to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” 33 He took Peter, James, and John with him. Distress and anguish came over him, 34 and he said to them, “The sorrow in my heart is so great that it almost crushes me. Stay here and keep watch.”
35 He went a little farther on, threw himself on the ground, and prayed that, if possible, he might not have to go through that time of suffering. 36 “Father,” he prayed, “my Father! All things are possible for you. Take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet not what I want, but what you want.”
37 Then he returned and found the three disciples asleep. He said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Weren't you able to stay awake for even one hour?” 38 And he said to them, “Keep watch, and pray that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
39 He went away once more and prayed, saying the same words. 40 Then he came back to the disciples and found them asleep; they could not keep their eyes open. And they did not know what to say to him.
41 When he came back the third time, he said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Enough! The hour has come! Look, the Son of Man is now being handed over to the power of sinners. 42 Get up, let us go. Look, here is the man who is betraying me!”
The Arrest of Jesus(O)
43 Jesus was still speaking when Judas, one of the twelve disciples, arrived. With him was a crowd armed with swords and clubs and sent by the chief priests, the teachers of the Law, and the elders. 44 The traitor had given the crowd a signal: “The man I kiss is the one you want. Arrest him and take him away under guard.”
45 As soon as Judas arrived, he went up to Jesus and said, “Teacher!” and kissed him. 46 So they arrested Jesus and held him tight. 47 But one of those standing there drew his sword and struck at the High Priest's slave, cutting off his ear. 48 Then Jesus spoke up and said to them, “Did you have to come with swords and clubs to capture me, as though I were an outlaw? 49 (P)Day after day I was with you teaching in the Temple, and you did not arrest me. But the Scriptures must come true.”
50 Then all the disciples left him and ran away.
51 A certain young man, dressed only in a linen cloth, was following Jesus. They tried to arrest him, 52 but he ran away naked, leaving the cloth behind.
Jesus before the Council(Q)
53 Then Jesus was taken to the High Priest's house, where all the chief priests, the elders, and the teachers of the Law were gathering. 54 Peter followed from a distance and went into the courtyard of the High Priest's house. There he sat down with the guards, keeping himself warm by the fire. 55 The chief priests and the whole Council tried to find some evidence against Jesus in order to put him to death, but they could not find any. 56 Many witnesses told lies against Jesus, but their stories did not agree.
57 Then some men stood up and told this lie against Jesus: 58 (R)“We heard him say, ‘I will tear down this Temple which men have made, and after three days I will build one that is not made by men.’” 59 Not even they, however, could make their stories agree.
60 The High Priest stood up in front of them all and questioned Jesus, “Have you no answer to the accusation they bring against you?”
61 But Jesus kept quiet and would not say a word. Again the High Priest questioned him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed God?”
62 (S)“I am,” answered Jesus, “and you will all see the Son of Man seated at the right side of the Almighty and coming with the clouds of heaven!”
63 The High Priest tore his robes and said, “We don't need any more witnesses! 64 (T)You heard his blasphemy. What is your decision?”
They all voted against him: he was guilty and should be put to death.
65 Some of them began to spit on Jesus, and they blindfolded him and hit him. “Guess who hit you!” they said. And the guards took him and slapped him.
Peter Denies Jesus(U)
66 Peter was still down in the courtyard when one of the High Priest's servant women came by. 67 When she saw Peter warming himself, she looked straight at him and said, “You, too, were with Jesus of Nazareth.”
68 But he denied it. “I don't know … I don't understand what you are talking about,” he answered, and went out into the passageway. Just then a rooster crowed.[b]
69 The servant woman saw him there and began to repeat to the bystanders, “He is one of them!” 70 But Peter denied it again.
A little while later the bystanders accused Peter again, “You can't deny that you are one of them, because you, too, are from Galilee.”
71 Then Peter said, “I swear that I am telling the truth! May God punish me if I am not! I do not know the man you are talking about!”
72 Just then a rooster crowed a second time, and Peter remembered how Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows two times, you will say three times that you do not know me.” And he broke down and cried.

3 耶稣在伯大尼长大麻风的西门家里坐席的时候，有一个女人拿着一玉瓶至贵的真哪哒香膏来，打破玉瓶，把膏浇在耶稣的头上。 4 有几个人心中很不喜悦，说：“何用这样枉费香膏呢？ 5 这香膏可以卖三十多两银子周济穷人。”他们就向那女人生气。 6 耶稣说：“由她吧！为什么难为她呢？她在我身上做的是一件美事。 7 因为常有穷人和你们同在，要向他们行善随时都可以，只是你们不常有我。 8 她所做的是尽她所能的，她是为我安葬的事，把香膏预先浇在我身上。 9 我实在告诉你们：普天之下，无论在什么地方传这福音，也要述说这女人所做的，以为纪念。”
犹大卖主
10 十二门徒之中有一个加略人犹大，去见祭司长，要把耶稣交给他们。 11 他们听见就欢喜，又应许给他银子，他就寻思如何得便把耶稣交给他们。
预备逾越节的筵席
12 除酵节的第一天，就是宰逾越羊羔的那一天，门徒对耶稣说：“你吃逾越节的筵席，要我们往哪里去预备呢？” 13 耶稣就打发两个门徒，对他们说：“你们进城去，必有人拿着一瓶水迎面而来，你们就跟着他。 14 他进哪家去，你们就对那家的主人说：‘夫子说：客房在哪里？我与门徒好在那里吃逾越节的筵席。’ 15 他必指给你们摆设整齐的一间大楼，你们就在那里为我们预备。” 16 门徒出去，进了城，所遇见的正如耶稣所说的，他们就预备了逾越节的筵席。
17 到了晚上，耶稣和十二个门徒都来了。 18 他们坐席正吃的时候，耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们：你们中间有一个与我同吃的人要卖我了。” 19 他们就忧愁起来，一个一个地问他说：“是我吗？” 20 耶稣对他们说：“是十二个门徒中同我蘸手在盘子里的那个人。 21 人子必要去世，正如经上指着他所写的，但卖人子的人有祸了！那人不生在世上倒好。”
设立圣餐
22 他们吃的时候，耶稣拿起饼来，祝了福，就掰开，递给他们，说：“你们拿着吃，这是我的身体。” 23 又拿起杯来，祝谢了，递给他们，他们都喝了。 24 耶稣说：“这是我立约的血，为多人流出来的。 25 我实在告诉你们：我不再喝这葡萄汁，直到我在神的国里喝新的那日子。”
26 他们唱了诗，就出来往橄榄山去。
预言彼得不认主
27 耶稣对他们说：“你们都要跌倒了，因为经上记着说：‘我要击打牧人，羊就分散了。’ 28 但我复活以后，要在你们以先往加利利去。” 29 彼得说：“众人虽然跌倒，我总不能。” 30 耶稣对他说：“我实在告诉你：就在今天夜里，鸡叫两遍以先，你要三次不认我。” 31 彼得却极力地说：“我就是必须和你同死，也总不能不认你！”众门徒都是这样说。
在客西马尼祷告
32 他们来到一个地方，名叫客西马尼，耶稣对门徒说：“你们坐在这里，等我祷告。” 33 于是带着彼得、雅各、约翰同去，就惊恐起来，极其难过， 34 对他们说：“我心里甚是忧伤，几乎要死。你们在这里等候，警醒。” 35 他就稍往前走，俯伏在地，祷告说倘若可行，便叫那时候过去。 36 他说：“阿爸，父啊！在你凡事都能，求你将这杯撤去！然而，不要从我的意思，只要从你的意思。”
主勉励门徒警醒祷告
37 耶稣回来，见他们睡着了，就对彼得说：“西门，你睡觉吗？不能警醒片时吗？ 38 总要警醒祷告，免得入了迷惑。你们心灵固然愿意，肉体却软弱了。” 39 耶稣又去祷告，说的话还是与先前一样。 40 又来，见他们睡着了，因为他们的眼睛甚是困倦；他们也不知道怎么回答。 41 第三次来，对他们说：“现在你们仍然睡觉安歇吧[a]！够了，时候到了。看哪，人子被卖在罪人手里了！ 42 起来，我们走吧！看哪，那卖我的人近了！”
盗卖和捉拿
43 说话之间，忽然那十二个门徒里的犹大来了，并有许多人带着刀棒，从祭司长和文士并长老那里与他同来。 44 卖耶稣的人曾给他们一个暗号，说：“我与谁亲嘴，谁就是他。你们把他拿住，牢牢靠靠地带去。” 45 犹大来了，随即到耶稣跟前，说：“拉比！”便与他亲嘴。 46 他们就下手拿住他。 47 旁边站着的人，有一个拔出刀来，将大祭司的仆人砍了一刀，削掉了他一个耳朵。 48 耶稣对他们说：“你们带着刀棒出来拿我，如同拿强盗吗？ 49 我天天教训人，同你们在殿里，你们并没有拿我。但这事成就，为要应验经上的话。” 50 门徒都离开他逃走了。
51 有一个少年人赤身披着一块麻布，跟随耶稣，众人就捉拿他。 52 他却丢了麻布，赤身逃走了。
在公会前受审
53 他们把耶稣带到大祭司那里，又有众祭司长和长老并文士都来和大祭司一同聚集。 54 彼得远远地跟着耶稣，一直进入大祭司的院里，和差役一同坐在火光里烤火。 55 祭司长和全公会寻找见证控告耶稣，要治死他，却寻不着。 56 因为有好些人作假见证告他，只是他们的见证各不相合。 57 又有几个人站起来作假见证告他，说： 58 “我们听见他说：‘我要拆毁这人手所造的殿，三日内就另造一座不是人手所造的。’” 59 他们就是这么作见证，也是各不相合。 60 大祭司起来站在中间，问耶稣说：“你什么都不回答吗？这些人作见证告你的是什么呢？” 61 耶稣却不言语，一句也不回答。大祭司又问他说：“你是那当称颂者的儿子基督不是？” 62 耶稣说：“我是。你们必看见人子坐在那权能者的右边，驾着天上的云降临。” 63 大祭司就撕开衣服，说：“我们何必再用见证人呢？ 64 你们已经听见他这僭妄的话了。你们的意见如何？”他们都定他该死的罪。 65 就有人吐唾沫在他脸上，又蒙着他的脸，用拳头打他，对他说：“你说预言吧！”差役接过他来，用手掌打他。
彼得三次不认主
66 彼得在下边院子里，来了大祭司的一个使女， 67 见彼得烤火，就看着他说：“你素来也是同拿撒勒人耶稣一伙的。” 68 彼得却不承认，说：“我不知道，也不明白你说的是什么。”于是出来，到了前院，鸡就叫了。 69 那使女看见他，又对旁边站着的人说：“这也是他们一党的。” 70 彼得又不承认。过了不多的时候，旁边站着的人又对彼得说：“你真是他们一党的，因为你是加利利人。” 71 彼得就发咒起誓地说：“我不认得你们说的这个人！” 72 立时鸡叫了第二遍。彼得想起耶稣对他所说的话：“鸡叫两遍以先，你要三次不认我。”思想起来，就哭了。
