⁵⁹即使這樣，他們的證詞也不一致。

⁶⁰最後，大祭司在眾人面前站起來質問耶穌：「你不回答嗎？這些人作證控告你的是什麼呢？」

⁶¹耶穌還是沉默不語，什麼也不答。大祭司又問祂：「你是那當受稱頌者的兒子基督嗎？」

⁵⁹But neither so did their witness agree together.

⁶⁰And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

⁶¹But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
