3 耶穌在伯大尼村患過痲瘋病的西門家裡吃飯，有個女人帶了一瓶極貴重的純哪噠香膏進來，把玉瓶打破，將香膏倒在耶穌頭上。 4 有些人生氣地彼此議論說：「為什麼這樣浪費？ 5 這瓶香膏可以賣三百多個銀幣[a]來賙濟窮人。」他們就責備那女人。

The Costly Perfume
3 (A)And while He was in (B)Bethany at the home of Simon the leper, and reclining at the table, there came a woman with an alabaster jar of perfume of very (C)costly pure [a]nard; and she broke the jar and poured it over His head. 4 But some were indignantly remarking to one another, “Why has this perfume been wasted? 5 For this perfume might have been sold for over three hundred [b]denarii and given to the poor.” And they were scolding her.
