論婚姻
10 耶穌離開那裡，來到猶太地區和約旦河河東岸，人群又聚集到祂那裡。耶穌像往常一樣教導他們。 2 一些法利賽人想試探耶穌，就來問祂：「男人可以休妻嗎？」 3 耶穌反問道：「摩西怎麼吩咐你們的？」
4 他們說：「摩西准許人寫休書休妻。」
5 耶穌說：「摩西因為你們心硬，才給你們寫了這條誡命。 6 太初創造時，『上帝造了男人和女人。』 7 『因此，人要離開父母，與妻子結合， 8 二人成為一體。』這樣，夫妻不再是兩個人，而是一體了。 9 因此，上帝配合的，人不可分開。」
10 回到屋裡後，門徒追問耶穌這件事。 11 耶穌說：「任何人休妻另娶，就是對妻子不忠，是犯通姦罪。 12 同樣，妻子若離棄丈夫另嫁，也是犯通姦罪。」
祝福孩童
13 有人帶著小孩子來要讓耶穌摸一摸，門徒卻責備他們。 14 耶穌看見後很生氣，對門徒說：「讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要阻止他們，因為上帝的國屬於這樣的人。 15 我實在告訴你們，人若不像小孩子一樣接受上帝的國，絕不能進去。」 16 於是，耶穌抱起小孩子，把手按在他們身上，為他們祝福。
永生的代價
17 耶穌正要上路，有一個人跑來跪在祂跟前，問祂：「良善的老師，我該做什麼才能承受永生？」
18 耶穌說：「你為什麼稱呼我『良善的老師』呢？只有上帝是良善的。 19 你知道『不可殺人，不可通姦，不可偷盜，不可作偽證，不可欺詐，要孝敬父母』這些誡命。」
20 那人說：「老師，我從小就遵行這些誡命。」
21 耶穌望著他，心中愛他，便說：「你還有一件事沒有做，就是變賣你所有的產業，送給窮人，你必有財寶存在天上，然後你還要來跟從我。」
22 那人聽了，臉色驟變，便沮喪地走了，因為他有許多產業。 23 耶穌看看周圍的人，對門徒說：「有錢人進上帝的國真難啊！」
24 門徒聽了感到驚奇，耶穌便再次對他們說：「孩子們，[a]進上帝的國多麼難啊！ 25 駱駝穿過針眼比有錢人進上帝的國還容易呢！」
26 門徒更加驚奇，便議論說：「這樣，誰能得救呢？」
27 耶穌看著他們說：「對人而言，這不可能，但對上帝而言，凡事都可能。」
28 彼得說：「你看，我們已經撇下一切來跟從你了。」
29 耶穌說：「我實在告訴你們，任何人為了我和福音而撇下房屋、弟兄、姊妹、父母、兒女或田地， 30 今世必在房屋、弟兄、姊妹、父母、兒女或田地方面獲得百倍的回報，來世必得永生。當然他也會受到迫害。 31 然而，許多為首的將要殿後，殿後的將要為首。」
耶穌第三次預言自己的受難
32 在前往耶路撒冷的路上，耶穌走在眾人前面，門徒感到驚奇，其他跟隨的人也很害怕。
耶穌把十二個門徒叫到一旁，再把自己將要遭遇的事告訴他們，說： 33 「聽著，我們現在前往耶路撒冷。人子將被交在祭司長和律法教師的手中，他們要判祂死刑，把祂交給外族人。 34 他們會嘲弄祂，向祂吐唾沫，鞭打祂，殺害祂。但是，三天之後祂必復活！」
雅各與約翰的請求
35 西庇太的兩個兒子雅各和約翰上前對耶穌說：「老師，請你答應我們一個要求。」
36 耶穌問：「什麼要求？」
37 他們說：「在你的榮耀中，求你讓我們一個坐在你右邊，一個坐在你左邊。」
38 耶穌說：「你們不知道自己在求什麼。我要喝的那杯，你們能喝嗎？我要受的洗，你們能受嗎？」
39 他們說：「我們能。」
耶穌說：「我要喝的那杯，你們也要喝；我所受的洗，你們也要受。 40 不過誰坐在我的左右不是我來定，而是為誰預備的，就讓誰坐。」
41 其他十個門徒聽見這事後，很生雅各和約翰的氣。 42 於是，耶穌把他們叫來，對他們說：「你們知道，外族人有君王統治他們，有大臣管理他們， 43 但你們不可這樣。你們中間誰要當首領，誰就要做大家的僕人； 44 誰要居首位，誰就要做大家的奴僕。 45 因為就連人子也不是來受人服侍，而是來服侍人，並且犧牲性命，作許多人的贖價。」
治好瞎子巴底買
46 耶穌和門徒來到耶利哥。當耶穌和門徒及眾人出城的時候，碰到一個瞎眼的乞丐坐在路旁乞討，他的名字叫巴底買，是底買的兒子。 47 巴底買一聽到經過的是拿撒勒人耶穌，就喊道：「大衛的後裔耶穌啊，可憐我吧！」
48 許多人都責備他，叫他不要吵，但他卻更加大聲喊道：「大衛的後裔啊，可憐我吧！」
49 耶穌停下腳步，叫人帶他過來。
他們就對瞎子巴底買說：「好了，起來吧，祂叫你呢。」
50 巴底買丟下外衣，跳了起來，走到耶穌面前。
51 耶穌問他：「你要我為你做什麼？」
瞎子說：「老師，我想能夠看見。」

Marriage and Divorce(A)
10 Then (B)He arose from there and came to the region of Judea by the other side of the Jordan. And multitudes gathered to Him again, and as He was accustomed, He taught them again.
2 (C)The Pharisees came and asked Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” testing Him.
3 And He answered and said to them, “What did Moses command you?”
4 They said, (D)“Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce, and to dismiss her.”
5 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this [a]precept. 6 But from the beginning of the creation, God (E)‘made them male and female.’ 7 (F)‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, 8 and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
10 In the house His disciples also asked Him again about the same matter. 11 So He said to them, (G)“Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. 12 And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
Jesus Blesses Little Children(H)
13 (I)Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for (J)of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, (K)whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will (L)by no means enter it.” 16 And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.
Jesus Counsels the Rich Young Ruler(M)
17 (N)Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I (O)do that I may inherit eternal life?”
18 So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, (P)God. 19 You know the commandments: (Q)‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ ”
20 And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have (R)kept from my youth.”
21 Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, (S)sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have (T)treasure in heaven; and come, (U)take up the cross, and follow Me.”
22 But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
With God All Things Are Possible(V)
23 (W)Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is [b]for those (X)who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a (Y)rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
26 And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?”
27 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not (Z)with God; for with God all things are possible.”
28 (AA)Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.”
29 So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother [c]or wife or children or [d]lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, 30 (AB)who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with (AC)persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. 31 (AD)But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
Jesus a Third Time Predicts His Death and Resurrection(AE)
32 (AF)Now they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going before them; and they were amazed. And as they followed they were afraid. (AG)Then He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them the things that would happen to Him: 33 “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death and deliver Him to the Gentiles; 34 and they will mock Him, and [e]scourge Him, and spit on Him, and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again.”
Greatness Is Serving(AH)
35 (AI)Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Him, saying, “Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask.”
36 And He said to them, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
37 They said to Him, “Grant us that we may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on Your left, in Your glory.”
38 But Jesus said to them, “You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the (AJ)cup that I drink, and be baptized with the (AK)baptism that I am baptized with?”
39 They said to Him, “We are able.”
So Jesus said to them, (AL)“You will indeed drink the cup that I drink, and with the baptism I am baptized with you will be baptized; 40 but to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but it is for those (AM)for whom it is prepared.”
41 (AN)And when the ten heard it, they began to be greatly displeased with James and John. 42 But Jesus called them to Himself and said to them, (AO)“You know that those who are considered rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. 43 (AP)Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. 44 And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. 45 For even (AQ)the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and (AR)to give His life a ransom for many.”
Jesus Heals Blind Bartimaeus(AS)
46 (AT)Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, (AU)Son of David, (AV)have mercy on me!”
48 Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
49 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called.
Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”
50 And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.
51 So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
The blind man said to Him, [f]“Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.”
52 Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; (AW)your faith has [g]made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.

10 Jesús partió de aquel lugar y se fue a la región de Judea y al otro lado del Jordán. Otra vez concurrieron a él las multitudes y, como era su costumbre, les enseñaba.
2 En eso, unos fariseos se le acercaron y, para ponerlo a prueba, le preguntaron:
―¿Está permitido que un hombre se divorcie de su esposa?
3 ―¿Qué os mandó Moisés? —replicó Jesús.
4 ―Moisés permitió que un hombre escribiera un certificado de divorcio y la despidiera —contestaron ellos.
5 ―Esa ley la escribió Moisés para vosotros por lo obstinados que sois[a] —aclaró Jesús—. 6 Pero al principio de la creación Dios “los hizo hombre y mujer”.[b] 7 “Por eso dejará el hombre a su padre y a su madre, y se unirá a su esposa,[c] 8 y los dos llegarán a ser un solo cuerpo”.[d] Así que ya no son dos, sino uno solo. 9 Por tanto, lo que Dios ha unido, que no lo separe el hombre.
10 Vueltos a casa, los discípulos le preguntaron a Jesús sobre este asunto.
11 ―El que se divorcia de su esposa y se casa con otra comete adulterio contra la primera —respondió—. 12 Y, si la mujer se divorcia de su esposo y se casa con otro, comete adulterio.
Jesús y los niños(B)
13 Empezaron a llevarle niños a Jesús para que los tocara, pero los discípulos reprendían a quienes los llevaban. 14 Cuando Jesús se dio cuenta, se indignó y les dijo: «Dejad que los niños vengan a mí, y no se lo impidáis, porque el reino de Dios es de quienes son como ellos. 15 Os aseguro que el que no reciba el reino de Dios como un niño de ninguna manera entrará en él». 16 Y después de abrazarlos, los bendecía poniendo las manos sobre ellos.
El joven rico(C)
17 Cuando Jesús estaba ya para irse, un hombre llegó corriendo y se postró delante de él.
―Maestro bueno —le preguntó—, ¿qué debo hacer para heredar la vida eterna?
18 ―¿Por qué me llamas bueno? —respondió Jesús—. Nadie es bueno sino solo Dios. 19 Ya sabes los mandamientos: “No mates, no cometas adulterio, no robes, no presentes falso testimonio, no defraudes, honra a tu padre y a tu madre”.[e]
20 ―Maestro —dijo el hombre—, todo eso lo he cumplido desde que era joven.
21 Jesús lo miró con amor y añadió:
―Una sola cosa te falta: anda, vende todo lo que tienes y dáselo a los pobres, y tendrás tesoro en el cielo. Luego ven y sígueme.
22 Al oír esto, el hombre se desanimó y se fue triste, porque tenía muchas riquezas.
23 Jesús miró alrededor y comentó a sus discípulos:
―¡Qué difícil es para los ricos entrar en el reino de Dios!
24 Los discípulos se asombraron de sus palabras.
―Hijos, ¡qué difícil es entrar[f] en el reino de Dios! —repitió Jesús—. 25 Le resulta más fácil a un camello pasar por el ojo de una aguja que a un rico entrar en el reino de Dios.
26 Los discípulos se asombraron aún más, y decían entre sí: «Entonces, ¿quién podrá salvarse?»
27 ―Para los hombres es imposible —aclaró Jesús, mirándolos fijamente—, pero no para Dios; de hecho, para Dios todo es posible.
28 ―¿Qué de nosotros, que lo hemos dejado todo y te hemos seguido? —comenzó a reclamarle Pedro.
29 ―Os aseguro —respondió Jesús— que todo el que por mi causa y la del evangelio haya dejado casa, hermanos, hermanas, madre, padre, hijos o terrenos 30 recibirá cien veces más ahora en este tiempo (casas, hermanos, hermanas, madres, hijos y terrenos, aunque con persecuciones); y en la edad venidera, la vida eterna. 31 Pero muchos de los primeros serán últimos, y de los últimos, primeros.
Jesús predice de nuevo su muerte(D)
32 Iban de camino subiendo a Jerusalén, y Jesús se les adelantó. Los discípulos estaban asombrados, y los otros que venían detrás tenían miedo. De nuevo tomó aparte a los doce y comenzó a decirles lo que le iba a suceder. 33 «Ahora vamos rumbo a Jerusalén, y el Hijo del hombre será entregado a los jefes de los sacerdotes y a los maestros de la ley. Ellos lo condenarán a muerte y lo entregarán a los gentiles. 34 Se burlarán de él, le escupirán, lo azotarán y lo matarán. Pero a los tres días resucitará».
La petición de Jacobo y Juan(E)
35 Se le acercaron Jacobo y Juan, hijos de Zebedeo.
―Maestro —le dijeron—, queremos que nos concedas lo que te vamos a pedir.
36 ―¿Qué queréis que haga por vosotros?
37 ―Concédenos que en tu glorioso reino uno de nosotros se siente a tu derecha y el otro a tu izquierda.
38 ―No sabéis lo que estáis pidiendo —les replicó Jesús—. ¿Podéis acaso beber el trago amargo de la copa que yo bebo, o pasar por la prueba del bautismo con el que voy a ser probado?[g]
39 ―Sí, podemos.
―Beberéis de la copa que yo bebo —les respondió Jesús— y pasaréis por la prueba del bautismo con el que voy a ser probado, 40 pero el sentarse a mi derecha o a mi izquierda no me corresponde a mí concederlo. Eso ya está decidido.[h]
41 Los otros diez, al oír la conversación, se indignaron contra Jacobo y Juan. 42 Así que Jesús los llamó y les dijo:
―Como vosotros sabéis, los que se consideran jefes de las naciones oprimen a los súbditos, y los altos oficiales abusan de su autoridad. 43 Pero entre vosotros no debe ser así. Al contrario, el que quiera hacerse grande entre vosotros deberá ser vuestro servidor, 44 y el que quiera ser el primero deberá ser esclavo de todos. 45 Porque ni aun el Hijo del hombre vino para que le sirvan, sino para servir y para dar su vida en rescate por muchos.
El ciego Bartimeo recibe la vista(F)
46 Después llegaron a Jericó. Más tarde, salió Jesús de la ciudad acompañado de sus discípulos y de una gran multitud. Un mendigo ciego llamado Bartimeo (el hijo de Timeo) estaba sentado junto al camino. 47 Al oír que el que venía era Jesús de Nazaret, se puso a gritar:
―¡Jesús, Hijo de David, ten compasión de mí!
48 Muchos lo reprendían para que se callara, pero él se puso a gritar aún más:
―¡Hijo de David, ten compasión de mí!
49 Jesús se detuvo y dijo:
―Llamadlo.
Así que llamaron al ciego.
―¡Ánimo! —le dijeron—. ¡Levántate! Te llama.
50 Él, arrojando la capa, dio un salto y se acercó a Jesús.
51 ―¿Qué quieres que haga por ti? —le preguntó.
―Rabí, quiero ver —respondió el ciego.
52 ―Puedes irte —le dijo Jesús—; tu fe te ha sanado.
Al momento recobró la vista y empezó a seguir a Jesús por el camino.
