責備以色列人
3 「以色列人啊，
要聽耶和華責備你們的話，
責備我從埃及領出來的整個民族的話，
2 『世上萬族之中，我只揀選了你們，
所以我要因你們的罪惡而懲罰你們。』」
3 若非相約，
二人怎會同行呢？
4 若非捕到獵物，
獅子怎會在林中咆哮呢？
若非獵獲食物，
猛獅怎會在洞中吼叫呢？
5 若非設下誘餌，
鳥兒怎會陷入網羅呢？
若非有什麼陷進去，
網羅怎會收起來呢？
6 若城中響起號角，
居民豈不恐懼顫抖？
若災禍降臨城中，
豈不是耶和華的作為？
7 的確，主耶和華不向祂的僕人——眾先知顯明祂的計劃，
就不會採取任何行動。
8 獅子吼叫，誰不懼怕呢？
主耶和華已發言，誰能不傳講呢？
9 要向亞實突和埃及的城堡宣告：
「你們要聚集到撒瑪利亞的山上，
看看城中的混亂和暴虐之事。
10 他們不知正道，強取豪奪，
在他們的堡壘中積斂錢財。
這是耶和華說的。」
11 所以，主耶和華說：
「敵人要圍攻此地，
攻破他們的防守，
搶掠他們的城堡。」
12 耶和華說：
「牧人從獅口中救羊，
只能奪回兩條腿和一塊耳朵。

也僅剩一片床榻和一角臥椅。」

「你們要聽這話，去警告雅各家。

15 我要拆毀過冬和避暑的房屋，

Witnesses Summoned Against Israel
3 Hear this word, people of Israel, the word the Lord has spoken against you(A)—against the whole family I brought up out of Egypt:(B)
2 “You only have I chosen(C)
of all the families of the earth;
therefore I will punish(D) you
for all your sins.(E)”
3 Do two walk together
unless they have agreed to do so?
4 Does a lion roar(F) in the thicket
when it has no prey?(G)
Does it growl in its den
when it has caught nothing?
5 Does a bird swoop down to a trap on the ground
when no bait(H) is there?
Does a trap spring up from the ground
if it has not caught anything?
6 When a trumpet(I) sounds in a city,
do not the people tremble?
When disaster(J) comes to a city,
has not the Lord caused it?(K)
7 Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing
without revealing his plan(L)
to his servants the prophets.(M)
8 The lion(N) has roared(O)—
who will not fear?
The Sovereign Lord has spoken—
who can but prophesy?(P)
9 Proclaim to the fortresses of Ashdod(Q)
and to the fortresses of Egypt:
“Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria;(R)
see the great unrest within her
and the oppression among her people.”
10 “They do not know how to do right,(S)” declares the Lord,
“who store up in their fortresses(T)
what they have plundered(U) and looted.”
11 Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“An enemy will overrun your land,
pull down your strongholds
and plunder your fortresses.(V)”
12 This is what the Lord says:
“As a shepherd rescues from the lion’s(W) mouth
only two leg bones or a piece of an ear,
so will the Israelites living in Samaria be rescued,
with only the head of a bed
and a piece of fabric[a] from a couch.[b](X)”
13 “Hear this and testify(Y) against the descendants of Jacob,” declares the Lord, the Lord God Almighty.
14 “On the day I punish(Z) Israel for her sins,
I will destroy the altars of Bethel;(AA)
the horns(AB) of the altar will be cut off
and fall to the ground.
15 I will tear down the winter house(AC)
along with the summer house;(AD)
the houses adorned with ivory(AE) will be destroyed
and the mansions(AF) will be demolished,(AG)”
declares the Lord.(AH)

3 Oíd esta palabra que el Señor ha hablado contra vosotros, hijos de Israel, contra toda la familia[a](A) que hizo[b] subir de la tierra de Egipto, diciendo:
2 Solo a vosotros he escogido[c] de todas las familias de la tierra(B);
por eso os castigaré[d] por todas vuestras iniquidades(C).
3 ¿Andan dos hombres juntos si no se han puesto de acuerdo?
4 ¿Ruge un león(D) en la selva sin tener presa?
¿Gruñe[e] un leoncillo desde su guarida si no ha apresado algo?
5 ¿Cae un ave en la trampa en la tierra si no hay cebo en ella[f]?
¿Se levanta la trampa del suelo si no ha atrapado algo?
6 Si se toca la trompeta en la ciudad(E), ¿no temblará el pueblo?
Si sucede una calamidad en la ciudad, ¿no la ha causado el Señor(F)?
7 Ciertamente[g] el Señor Dios[h] no hace nada
sin revelar su secreto
a sus siervos los profetas(G).
8 Ha rugido un león, ¿quién no temerá?
Ha hablado el Señor Dios(H), ¿quién no profetizará(I)?
9 Proclamad en los palacios[i] de Asdod(J) y en los palacios[j] de la tierra de Egipto, y decid: Congregaos en los montes de Samaria(K) y ved los grandes tumultos dentro de ella y la opresión[k] en medio suyo(L). 10 No saben hacer lo recto(M) —declara el Señor— los que acumulan violencia[l] y destrucción en sus palacios(N).
11 Por tanto, así dice el Señor Dios:
Un enemigo(O), rodeando la tierra,
echará abajo tu poder[m]
y tus palacios serán saqueados(P).
12 Así dice el Señor:
Como el pastor rescata de la boca del león(Q) dos patas o un pedazo de oreja,
así serán rescatados los hijos de Israel que moran en Samaria,
en la esquina de una cama(R) y en el damasco de un sofá(S).
13 Oíd y testificad contra la casa de Jacob(T)
—declara el Señor Dios, el Dios de los ejércitos.
14 Porque el día que yo castigue las transgresiones de Israel,
castigaré también los altares de Betel(U);
los cuernos del altar serán cortados
y caerán a tierra.
15 Derribaré[n] también la casa de invierno(V) junto con la casa de verano(W);
también perecerán las casas de marfil[o](X),
y muchas casas serán destruidas(Y)
—declara el Señor.

3 Hör detta ord som Herren har talat mot er, ni Israels barn,
mot hela det släkte som jag har fört upp
ur Egyptens land.
Så har han sagt:
2 Endast er har jag känt som mitt folk
av alla jordens släkter,
därför skall jag också straffa er
för alla era missgärningar.
3 Vandrar två tillsammans
utan att de kommit överens om det?
4 Ryter ett lejon i skogen
utan att det funnit något rov?
Ger ett ungt lejon till ett rytande i kulan
utan att det har tagit byte?
5 Fastnar en fågel i en fälla på marken
utan att någon snara är gillrad för den?
Slår en fälla upp från marken
utan att den gör någon fångst?
6 Stöter man i basun i en stad
utan att folket blir förskräckt?
Händer det en olycka i en stad
utan att Herren har vållat den?
7 Ty Herren, Herren gör ingenting
utan att ha uppenbarat sin hemlighet
för sina tjänare profeterna.
8 När lejonet ryter,
vem skulle då inte frukta?
När Herren, Herren talar,
vem skulle då inte profetera?
Domsord över Samaria
9 Ropa ut över Asdods palats
och över palatsen i Egyptens land,
säg: Kom samman på Samarias berg
och se den stora förvirring som där råder
och förtrycket mitt ibland dem.
10 De förstår inte att göra det rätta,
säger Herren,
de som samlar våld och fördärv i sina palats.
11 Därför säger Herren, Herren:
En fiende skall omringa landet,
riva ner ditt starka fäste
och plundra dina palats.
12 Så säger Herren:
Liksom en herde räddar ur lejonets gap
ett par benpipor
eller en bit av ett öra,
så skall Israels folk räddas,
de som nu sitter i Samaria i sina soffors hörn
och på bäddar av damast.
13 Hör och vittna mot Jakobs hus,
säger Herren, Herren, härskarornas Gud:
14 Den dag då jag straffar Israel
för dess överträdelser,
skall jag låta straffet komma över Betels altaren,
så att altarhornen huggs av
och faller till marken.
15 Jag skall slå ner vinterhus och sommarhus.
Elfenbenshusen skall bli förstörda
och många hus skall sopas bort,
säger Herren.
