從北到東，

到處奔走，要尋求耶和華的話，

卻尋不見。

口渴

¹³“到那日，美麗的少女

和青年男子都因乾渴昏倒。

¹⁴那些指著撒瑪利亞的罪（“罪”或作“亞示瑪女神”）起誓，

或是那些指著但的神，

或別是巴的神（“別是巴的神”原文作“別是巴的道”）起誓的，

他們要倒下，再不能起來。”

¹²They shall wander from sea to sea,
And from north to east;
They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,
But shall ^(A)not find it.

¹³“In that day the fair virgins
And strong young men
Shall faint from thirst.
¹⁴Those who ^(B)swear by ^(C)the ^[a]sin of Samaria,
Who say,
‘As your god lives, O Dan!’
And, ‘As the way of ^(D)Beersheba lives!’
They shall fall and never rise again.”
