以色列虐遇贫乏必受主惩
4 你们住撒马利亚山如巴珊母牛的啊，当听我的话！你们欺负贫寒的，压碎穷乏的，对家主说：“拿酒来，我们喝吧！” 2 主耶和华指着自己的圣洁起誓说：“日子快到，人必用钩子将你们钩去，用鱼钩将你们余剩的钩去。 3 你们各人必从破口直往前行，投入哈门。”这是耶和华说的。
因献祭非正报以饥馑
4 “以色列人哪，任你们往伯特利去犯罪，到吉甲加增罪过，每日早晨献上你们的祭物，每三日奉上你们的十分之一。 5 任你们献有酵的感谢祭，把甘心祭宣传报告给众人，因为是你们所喜爱的。”这是主耶和华说的。
虽受重罚仍不归诚
6 “我使你们在一切城中牙齿干净，在你们各处粮食缺乏，你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。 7 “在收割的前三月，我使雨停止，不降在你们那里。我降雨在这城，不降雨在那城。这块地有雨，那块地无雨，无雨的就枯干了。 8 这样，两三城的人凑到一城去找水，却喝不足，你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。 9 “我以旱风、霉烂攻击你们，你们园中许多菜蔬，葡萄树、无花果树、橄榄树，都被剪虫所吃，你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。 10 “我降瘟疫在你们中间，像在埃及一样。用刀杀戮你们的少年人，使你们的马匹被掳掠，营中尸首的臭气扑鼻，你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。 11 “我倾覆你们中间的城邑，如同我从前倾覆所多玛、蛾摩拉一样，使你们好像从火中抽出来的一根柴，你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。
12 “以色列啊，我必向你如此行。以色列啊，我既这样行，你当预备迎见你的神。” 13 那创山造风，将心意指示人，使晨光变为幽暗，脚踏在地之高处的，他的名是耶和华万军之神！

4 住在撒玛利亚山上的巴珊肥母牛啊，
你们要听！
你们压榨贫寒人，欺凌穷苦人，
又使唤丈夫倒酒畅饮。
2 因此，主耶和华凭祂的圣洁起誓：
“时候快到了，
有人要用鱼钩钩走你们，一个也不留。
3 你们都要从城墙缺口走出来，
被丢到哈门。
这是耶和华说的。
4 “以色列人啊，
你们去伯特利犯罪吧，
去吉甲增添罪恶吧！
要每天早晨献上祭物，
每三天奉上你们的十分之一。
5 你们献上带酵的饼作感恩祭，
并且到处夸耀你们自愿献的祭。
以色列人啊，这就是你们爱做的事。
这是主耶和华说的。
6 “我在各城降下饥荒，
使你们遍地缺粮。
尽管如此，你们仍不归向我。
这是耶和华说的。
7 “我在收割前三个月停止降雨。
我在一座城降雨，
在另一座城不降雨；

God’s Punishments Have Not Reformed Israel
4 Hear this word, you (A)cows of Bashan, who are on the mountain of Samaria,
Who oppress the (B)poor,
Who crush the needy,
Who say to [a]your husbands, “Bring wine, let us (C)drink!”
2 (D)The Lord God has sworn by His holiness:
“Behold, the days shall come upon you
When He will take you away (E)with fishhooks,
And your posterity with fishhooks.
3 (F)You will go out through broken walls,
Each one straight ahead of her,
And you will [b]be cast into Harmon,”
Says the Lord.
4 “Come(G) to Bethel and transgress,
At (H)Gilgal multiply transgression;
(I)Bring your sacrifices every morning,
(J)Your tithes every three [c]days.
5 (K)Offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven,
Proclaim and announce (L)the freewill offerings;
For this you love,
You children of Israel!”
Says the Lord God.
Israel Did Not Accept Correction
6 “Also I gave you [d]cleanness of teeth in all your cities,
And lack of bread in all your places;
(M)Yet you have not returned to Me,”
Says the Lord.
7 “I also withheld rain from you,
When there were still three months to the harvest.
I made it rain on one city,
I withheld rain from another city.
One part was rained upon,
And where it did not rain the part withered.
8 So two or three cities wandered to another city to drink water,
But they were not satisfied;
Yet you have not returned to Me,”
Says the Lord.
9 “I(N) blasted you with blight and mildew.
When your gardens increased,
Your vineyards,
Your fig trees,
And your olive trees,
(O)The locust devoured them;
Yet you have not returned to Me,”
Says the Lord.
10 “I sent among you a plague (P)after the manner of Egypt;
Your young men I killed with a sword,
Along with your captive horses;
I made the stench of your camps come up into your nostrils;
Yet you have not returned to Me,”
Says the Lord.
11 “I overthrew some of you,
As God overthrew (Q)Sodom and Gomorrah,
And you were like a firebrand plucked from the burning;
Yet you have not returned to Me,”
Says the Lord.
12 “Therefore thus will I do to you, O Israel;
Because I will do this to you,
(R)Prepare to meet your God, O Israel!”
