8 不久，耶穌周遊各城各村講道，宣揚 神的國的福音，和他在一起的有十二個門徒， 2 還有幾個蒙了醫治、脫離污鬼與疾病的婦女，其中有稱為抹大拉的馬利亞，曾有七個鬼從她身上趕出來； 3 有希律的管家古撒的妻子約亞拿，又有蘇珊娜，和許多別的婦女，她們都用自己的財物供給耶穌和門徒。
撒種的比喻(A)
4 當時有許多人聚在一起，還有人從各城來到耶穌那裡，他就用比喻說： 5 “有一個撒種的出去撒種，撒的時候，有的落在路旁，被人踐踏，或給空中的小鳥吃掉。 6 有的落在石頭地上，一長出來就枯萎了，因為得不著滋潤。 7 有的落在荊棘叢中，荊棘也一齊生長，把它擠住了。 8 有的落在好土裡，就生長起來，結出百倍的果實。”他說了這些話，就大聲說：“有耳可聽的，就應當聽！”

11 “這比喻是說，種子是 神的道， 12 那落在路旁的，就是人聽了，魔鬼隨即來到，從他們心裡把道奪去，恐怕他們相信就得救了。 13 那落在石頭地上的，就是人聽了，歡歡喜喜地接受，但是沒有根，不過是暫時相信，一旦遭遇試煉，就倒退了。 14 那落在荊棘裡的，就是人聽了，走開以後，被今世的憂慮、財富和宴樂擠住了，結不出成熟的子粒來。 15 但那落在好土裡的，就是人用誠實良善的心來聽，把道持守住，忍耐著結出果實。

16 “沒有人點燈用器皿蓋上，或放在床底下，而是放在燈臺上，叫進來的人都看得見光。 17 因為沒有甚麼隱藏的事不被顯明，也沒有甚麼掩蓋的事不被人知道而暴露出來。 18 所以你們應當留心怎樣聽，因為凡是有的，還要給他；凡是沒有的，連他自以為有的，也要拿去。”
誰是耶穌的母親和弟兄(E)
19 耶穌的母親和弟弟來到他那裡，因為人多，不能到他跟前。 20 有人轉告耶穌：“你母親和弟弟站在外面要見你。” 21 他回答他們：“聽了 神的道而遵行的人，才是我的母親，我的弟兄。”
平靜風浪(F)
22 有一天，耶穌和門徒上了船，他對他們說：“我們渡到海那邊去吧。”他們就開了船。 23 船行的時候，他睡著了。海上忽然起了狂風，他們全身濕透，非常危險。 24 門徒來叫醒耶穌，說：“主啊！主啊！我們沒命了！”他醒過來，斥責風浪，風浪就止息、平靜了。 25 耶穌對他們說：“你們的信心在哪裡？”他們又懼怕、又希奇，彼此說：“這到底是誰？他吩咐風浪，連風浪也聽從他。”
治好鬼附的格拉森人(G)
26 船到了格拉森人的地區，正在加利利對面， 27 耶穌一上岸，就有城裡一個被鬼附著的人，迎面而來。這人已經很久不穿衣服，不住在家裡，只住在墳墓裡。 28 他一見耶穌，就俯伏喊叫，大聲說：“至高 神的兒子耶穌，我跟你有甚麼關係呢？求你不要使我受苦。” 29 因為耶穌已經吩咐這污靈從那人身上出來。原來這污靈屢次抓住那人；那人被鐵鍊和腳鍊捆鎖，而且有人看管，他竟掙斷鎖鍊，被鬼趕入曠野。 30 耶穌問他：“你叫甚麼名字？”他說：“群。”因為進到那人裡面的鬼很多。 31 他們求耶穌，不要趕他們進入無底坑。
32 那裡有一大群豬正在山上吃東西。他們求耶穌准他們進入豬群。耶穌准許了， 33 鬼就從那人身上出來，進入豬群，豬群闖下山崖，掉在海裡淹死了。 34 放豬的看見所發生的事就逃跑，到城裡和各鄉村把這事傳開。 35 眾人就出來看發生了甚麼事。來到耶穌那裡，看見鬼已經離開的那人，穿著衣服，神志清醒，坐在耶穌腳前，他們就害怕。 36 當時看見的人，把被鬼附過的人怎樣得到醫治，說給他們聽。 37 格拉森一帶的人，都要求耶穌離開他們，因為他們大大懼怕。他就上船回去了。 38 鬼已經離開的那人求耶穌，要跟他在一起；但耶穌打發他回去，說： 39 “你回家去，述說 神為你作了怎樣的事。”他就走遍全城，傳講耶穌為他作了怎樣的事。
治好血漏病的女人(H)
40 耶穌回來的時候，眾人歡迎他，因為大家都在等著他。 41 那時，有一個人來了，名叫葉魯，他是一位會堂主管。他俯伏在耶穌腳前，求他往他家裡去， 42 因為他的獨生女，約十二歲，快要死了。耶穌去的時候，群眾擁擠著他。
43 有一個女人，患了十二年的血漏病，在醫生手裡花盡了全部養生的（有些抄本無“在醫生手裡花盡了全部養生的”一句），沒有一個能醫好她。 44 她從後面擠來，一摸耶穌的衣裳繸子，血就立刻止住。 45 耶穌說：“摸我的是誰？”眾人都不承認。彼得說：“主啊，眾人都擁擠著你。” 46 耶穌說：“必定有人摸我，因為我覺得有能力從我身上出去。” 47 那女人見不能隱瞞，就戰戰兢兢地過來，向他俯伏，把摸他的緣故，和怎樣立刻得到醫治，在眾人面前說出來。 48 耶穌對她說：“女兒，你的信使你痊愈了，平安地去吧！”
使女孩復活(I)
49 耶穌還在說話的時候，有人從會堂主管家裡來，說：“你的女兒死了，不必再勞動老師了。” 50 耶穌聽見就對他說：“不要怕，只要信，她必得痊愈。” 51 到了那家，除了彼得、約翰、雅各和女孩的父母以外，他不准任何人同他進屋裡去。 52 眾人都在為女孩痛哭哀號，他說：“不要哭！她不是死了，而是睡著了。” 53 他們明知女孩已經死了，就嘲笑他。 54 他進去拉著女孩的手，叫她說：“孩子，起來！” 55 她的靈魂回來了，她就立刻起來。耶穌吩咐給她東西吃。 56 她父母非常驚奇。耶穌囑咐他們不要把他所作的事告訴人。

撒種的比喻
8 此後，耶穌到各城鎮去傳揚上帝國的福音。同行的有十二使徒， 2 還有幾個曾被邪靈和疾病纏身、現在已被醫治的婦女。其中有抹大拉的瑪麗亞，耶穌曾經從她身上趕出七個鬼， 3 還有希律的管家苦撒的妻子約亞娜，此外還有蘇珊娜等其他婦女。她們用自己的錢財資助耶穌和門徒。
4 那時，人群絡繹不絕地從各地聚集到耶穌面前，耶穌用比喻教導他們，說： 5 「有一個農夫到田裡撒種，有些種子落在路旁，被人踐踏，又被飛鳥吃掉了； 6 有些落在蓋著淺土的石頭地上，因水分不足，幼苗剛長出來就枯萎了； 7 有些落在荊棘叢中，荊棘長起來便把幼苗擠住了； 8 有些落在沃土裡，發芽生長，結出百倍的果實。」耶穌講完這番話後，高聲說：「有耳可聽的，就要留心聽。」
9 門徒請耶穌解釋這比喻的意思， 10 耶穌便說：「上帝國的奧祕只讓你們知道，對其他人，我就用比喻，使他們看卻看不見，聽卻聽不明白。 11 這個比喻的意思是這樣，種子代表上帝的道， 12 種子落在路旁是指人聽了道，隨後魔鬼來把道從他們心裡奪走了，不讓他們相信並得救； 13 種子落在蓋著淺土的石頭地上是指人聽了道，欣然接受了，但是沒有根基，只是暫時相信，一遇到試煉就放棄了； 14 種子落在荊棘叢中是指人聽了道，後來被生活的憂慮、錢財和享樂纏住了，以致結不出成熟的果實來； 15 種子落在沃土裡則是指人聽了道，用誠實良善的心堅忍持守，至終結出果實。
點燈的比喻
16 「沒有人點了燈，卻用器皿把它蓋起來或放到床底下，而是放在燈臺上，使進來的人能見到光。 17 掩蓋的事終會暴露出來，隱藏的秘密終會被人知道。 18 因此，你們要留心聽，因為凡有的，還要給他更多；凡沒有的，連他自以為已經擁有的也要被奪去。」
耶穌的親屬
19 這時，耶穌的母親和兄弟來找祂，由於人太多，他們無法靠近耶穌， 20 有人就對祂說：「你的母親和兄弟在外面想見你。」 21 耶穌卻說：「聽見上帝的話語並遵行的人就是我的母親、我的弟兄。」
平靜風浪
22 有一天，耶穌對門徒說：「我們到湖的對岸去吧。」於是他們坐船前往對岸。 23 途中耶穌睡著了。不料湖上忽然狂風大作，船灌滿了水，非常危險。 24 門徒過來喚醒耶穌，說：「主啊，主啊！我們快淹死了！」
耶穌醒來，就斥責風浪，頓時風平浪靜了。
25 耶穌對他們說：「你們的信心在哪裡呢？」
門徒又驚又怕，彼此議論說：「祂究竟是誰？一發命令，連風浪都聽祂的！」
格拉森趕鬼
26 他們渡過加利利湖，到了格拉森地區。 27 耶穌上岸後，迎面遇見當地一個被鬼附身的人。那人長期赤身露體，不住在房屋裡，只住在墓穴中。 28 他一見到耶穌，就仆倒在祂面前，高聲喊叫：「至高上帝的兒子耶穌，我和你有什麼關係？求求你，不要折磨我！」 29 這是因為耶穌已命令污鬼離開那人。那人多次被污鬼操縱，人們用鐵鏈腳鐐把他鎖起來看管，他竟把鎖鏈也扯斷，被鬼催逼到荒野。
30 耶穌問他：「你叫什麼名字？」
他說：「我叫『群』。」因為有一大群鬼附在那人身上。 31 鬼不斷央求耶穌不要叫牠們到無底坑去。
32 當時有一大群豬在附近山坡上覓食，污鬼就央求耶穌准許牠們進入豬群，耶穌答應了。 33 於是那群鬼便離開那人，進入豬群。那群豬就一路奔下陡坡，衝進湖裡淹死了。 34 放豬的人見此情形拔腿就跑，把這事告訴了城裡和鄉下的人。 35 人們出來看個究竟，到了耶穌那裡，發現那曾被鬼附身的人衣著整齊、神智清醒地坐在耶穌腳前，他們都很害怕。 36 目擊者把事情的始末告訴了他們。 37 格拉森地區的居民都十分害怕，請求耶穌離開那裡，耶穌便乘船回去了。
38 那從前被鬼附身的人懇求跟耶穌同行，耶穌卻對他說： 39 「你回家吧，把上帝為你所行的奇事告訴別人。」他就回去，走遍全城，四處傳揚耶穌為他所行的奇事。
雅魯求救
40 耶穌回到對岸，受到等候在那裡的百姓的歡迎。 41 一個名叫雅魯的會堂主管走過來俯伏在耶穌腳前，求耶穌到他家去，因為他有一個大約十二歲的獨生女快要死了。
42 耶穌前去雅魯家的時候，人群擁擠著祂。
患血漏病婦人的信心
43 有一個患了十二年血漏病的婦人耗盡了積蓄，到處求醫，但沒有人能醫治她。 44 婦人擠到耶穌的背後，摸了一下祂衣服的穗邊，她的血漏立刻止住了。
45 耶穌問：「誰摸我？」沒有人說摸過祂。
彼得說：「老師，眾人都在擁擠你。」
46 耶穌卻說：「一定有人摸了我，因為我感覺有能力從我身上出去。」
47 那婦人知道無法隱瞞，就戰戰兢兢地走過來，俯伏在耶穌腳前，把她摸了耶穌的衣裳後頑疾馬上痊癒的始末當眾說了出來。
48 耶穌對她說：「女兒，你的信心救了你！安心回去吧。」
雅魯女兒死而復活
49 耶穌還在說話的時候，有人從雅魯家趕來，對雅魯說：「你的女兒已經死了，不用麻煩老師了。」
50 耶穌聽見，就對雅魯說：「不要怕，只要信。你的女兒一定會好的！」
51 到了雅魯家，耶穌只准彼得、雅各、約翰和雅魯夫婦跟祂進去。 52 屋內的人都在為那女孩哀傷哭泣，耶穌說：「不要哭，她沒有死，只是睡著了。」 53 眾人就譏笑祂，因為他們明明知道那女孩死了。 54 耶穌拉著那女孩的手，說：「孩子，起來！」 55 她的靈魂就回來了，她立刻站了起來。耶穌吩咐人給她東西吃。 56 她的父母非常驚訝，耶穌卻囑咐他們不要把這事傳開。

8 And it came to pass afterward that He went throughout every city and village, preaching and showing the glad tidings of the Kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him,
2 and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,
3 and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who ministered unto Him from their substance.
4 And when many people had gathered together and had come to Him out of every city, He spoke by a parable:
5 “A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside, and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
6 And some fell upon a rock, and as soon as it had sprung up, it withered away because it lacked moisture.
7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it.
8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up and bore fruit a hundredfold.” And when He had said these things, He cried, “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear!”
9 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “What might this parable mean?”
10 And He said, “Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God; but to others in parables, that ‘seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.’
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the Word of God.
12 Those by the wayside are they that hear; then cometh the devil and taketh away the Word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
13 The seed on the rock are they that, when they hear, receive the Word with joy, but they have no root: they for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
14 And that which fell among thorns are they that, when they have heard, go forth and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
15 But that on the good ground are they that, in an honest and good heart, having heard the Word, keep it and bring forth fruit with patience.
16 “No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel or putteth it under a bed, but setteth it on a candlestick, that they that enter in may see the light.
17 For nothing is secret that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid that shall not be known and come abroad.
18 Take heed therefore how ye hear, for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.”
19 Then came to Him His mother and His brethren, and could not come near Him because of the crowd.
20 And it was told to Him by certain ones, who said, “Thy mother and thy brethren stand outside, desiring to see thee.”
21 And He answered and said unto them, “My mother and My brethren are these who hear the Word of God, and do it.”
22 Now it came to pass on a certain day, that He went into a boat with His disciples. And He said unto them, “Let us go over unto the other side of the lake.” And they launched forth.
23 But as they sailed, He fell asleep. And there came down a storm of wind on the lake, and they were filling with water and were in jeopardy.
24 And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we perish!” Then He arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water; and they ceased, and there was a calm.
25 And He said unto them, “Where is your faith?” And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, “What manner of man is this? For He commandeth even the winds and the water, and they obey Him!”
26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee.
27 And when He went forth to land, there met Him from the city a certain man who had had devils a long time, and wore no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, “What have I to do with Thee, Jesus, Thou Son of God Most High? I beseech Thee, torment me not!”
29 (For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him, and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he broke the bands and was driven by the devil into the wilderness.)
30 And Jesus asked him, saying, “What is thy name?” And he said, “Legion,” because many devils had entered into him.
31 And they besought Him that He would not command them to go out into the deep.
32 And there was there a herd of many swine feeding on the mountain. And they besought Him that He would suffer them to enter into them. And He suffered them.
33 Then went the devils out of the man and entered into the swine, and the herd ran violently down a steep slope into the lake and were choked.
34 When those who fed them saw what was done, they fled and went and told it in the city and in the country.
35 Then they went out to see what was done. And they came to Jesus, and found the man out of whom the devils had departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind. And they were afraid.
36 Those also who had seen it told them by what means he that had been possessed by the devils was healed.
37 Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes and round about besought Him to depart from them, for they were taken with great fear. And He went up into the boat, and returned back again.
38 Now the man out of whom the devils had departed besought Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying,
39 “Return to thine own house, and show what great things God hath done unto thee.” And he went his way, and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done unto him.
40 And it came to pass that when Jesus had returned, the people gladly received Him, for they were all waiting for Him.
41 And behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue. And he fell down at Jesus’ feet and besought Him that He would come into his house,
42 for he had one daughter only, about twelve years of age, and she lay dying. But as He went, the people thronged Him.
43 And a woman having an issue of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her living upon physicians but could not be healed by any,
44 came behind Him and touched the border of His garment; and immediately her issue of blood was stanched.
45 And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” When all denied it, Peter and those who were with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng Thee and press Thee, and sayest Thou, ‘Who touched Me?’”
46 And Jesus said, “Somebody hath touched Me, for I perceive that virtue is gone out of Me.”
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before Him, she declared unto Him before all the people for what cause she had touched Him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 And He said unto her, “Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. Go in peace.”
49 While He yet spoke, there came one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, “Thy daughter is dead. Trouble not the Master.”
50 But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Fear not; believe only, and she shall be made whole.”
51 And when He came into the house, He suffered no man to go in save Peter and James and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
52 And all wept and bewailed her, but He said, “Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.”
53 And they laughed Him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
54 And He put them all out, and took her by the hand and called, saying, “Maid, arise.”
55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway, and He commanded to give her meat.
56 And her parents were astonished, but He charged them that they should tell no man what was done.
