38 (B)Now He arose from the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. But Simon’s wife’s mother was [a]sick with a high fever, and they (C)made request of Him concerning her. 39 So He stood over her and (D)rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately she arose and served them.

40 (F)When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.

38 Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. 39 So he bent over her and rebuked(C) the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them.
40 At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one,(D) he healed them.(E)
