13 約翰對他們說:「除了給你們規定的以外,不要多收。」

約翰說:「不要敲詐任何人,也不要勒索人[b],當以自己的糧餉為滿足。」

15 當時,民眾都在心裡對約翰有期待並猜想,或許他就是基督。
