24 礼拜日大清早的时候，妇女们带着预备好的香料，来到坟墓那里， 2 发现石头已经从坟墓辊开了， 3 就进去，却找不着主耶稣的身体。 4 她们正为此事猜疑的时候，忽然有两个人，穿著闪烁耀目的衣服，站在她们旁边。 5 她们害怕，把脸伏在地上。那两个人对她们说：“为甚么在死人中找活人呢？ 6 他不在这里，已经复活了。你们应当记得他还在加利利的时候，怎样告诉你们， 7 说：‘人子必须被交在罪人手里，钉在十字架上，第三日复活。’” 8 她们就想起他的话， 9 于是从坟地回去，把这一切事告诉十一个使徒和其余的人。 10 那些妇女就是抹大拉的马利亚，约亚拿和雅各的母亲马利亚，以及其他在一起的妇女，她们把这些事向使徒说了。 11 使徒以为这些话是无稽之谈，就不相信。 12 彼得却起来跑到坟墓那里，屈身往里观看，只见细麻布在那里，就回去了，对所发生的事非常惊奇。

28 他们走近要去的村子，他好象还要往前行， 29 他们强留他说：“天晚了，太阳下山了，请与我们同住吧！”他就进去与他们同住。 30 到了吃饭的时候，他拿起饼来，感谢了，擘开递给他们， 31 他们的眼睛开了，才认出是耶稣来；他却从他们面前不见了。 32 他们彼此说：“在路上他对我们说话，给我们解释圣经的时候，我们的心不是火热的吗？” 33 他们就立时起来回耶路撒冷去。在那里遇见十一个使徒和跟他们聚在一起的人， 34 说：“主果然复活了，已经向西门显现了。” 35 两个人就把在路上的事，和擘饼的时候他们怎样认出耶稣来的事，都述说了一遍。

36 正说这话的时候，耶稣亲自站在他们当中，说：“愿你们平安。” 37 他们非常惊怕，以为看见了灵。 38 他说：“你们为甚么惊慌，为甚么心里疑惑呢？ 39 你们看我的手、我的脚，就知道我是谁。摸我看看，灵没有骨，没有肉；你们看，我是有的。” 40 说了这话，就把手和脚给他们看。 41 他们欢喜到不敢相信，并且很惊奇。耶稣说：“你们这里有甚么吃的没有？” 42 他们就给了他一片烧鱼。 43 他接过来，在他们面前吃了。
44 主对他们说：“这就是我从前与你们同在的时候，对你们说过的话：摩西的律法、先知书和诗篇上所记关于我的一切事，都必定应验。” 45 于是他开他们的心窍，使他们明白圣经； 46 又说：“经上这样记着：基督必须受害，第三天从死人中复活。 47 人要奉他的名，传讲悔改与赦罪的道，从耶路撒冷起，直传到万国。 48 你们就是这些事的见证。 49 我要使我父的应许临到你们身上，你们当在城里等候，直到得着从上面来的能力。”

24 日曜日の明け方早く、待ちかねた女たちは香油を持って墓に急ぎました。 2 着いてみると、どうしたことでしょう。墓の入口をふさいであった大きな石が、わきへ転がしてありました。 3 中へ入って見ると、主イエスの体は影も形もありません。 4 「いったい、どうなってるのかしら。」女たちは途方にくれました。すると突然、まばゆいばかりに輝く衣をまとった人が二人、目の前に現れました。 5 女たちはもう恐ろしくて、地に伏したまま顔も上げられず、わなわな震えていました。その人たちは言いました。「なぜ生きておられる方を、墓の中で捜しているのです。 6-7 あの方はここにはおられません。復活なさったのです。まだガリラヤにおられたころ、何と言われましたか。メシヤは悪者たちの手に売り渡され、十字架につけられ、それから三日目に復活する、と言われたではありませんか。」 8 そう言われて女たちは、はっと思いあたりました。 9 そして、すぐさまエルサレムに取って返し、十一人の弟子やほかの人たちに一部始終を話しました。 10 そのとき墓へ行った女たちは、マグダラのマリヤとヨハンナ、ヤコブの母マリヤ、そのほか数人でした。 11 ところが、男たちには、この話がまるで物語のようで、とても現実のこととは思えません。だれも、まともに信じようとしませんでした。 12 しかしペテロは、それでも一応は確認しなければと墓へ行き、身をかがめて中をのぞき込みました。すると、どうでしょう。亜麻布のほかに何も見あたりません。それで、この出来事に驚いて家に戻りました。
13 この同じ日曜日のことです。二人の弟子が、エルサレムから十一キロほど離れたエマオという村へ急いでいました。 14 二人が道々話し合っていたのは、イエスの死のことでした。 15 そこへ突然、当のイエスが近づき、彼らと連れ立って歩き始めました。 16 しかし二人には、イエスだとはわかりません。神がそうなさったのです。 17 イエスが尋ねました。「何やら熱心にお話しのようですね。いったい何がそんなに問題なのですか。」すると二人は、急に顔をくもらせ、思わず足を止めました。 18 クレオパというほうの弟子があきれたように、「エルサレムにいながら、先週起こった、あの恐ろしい出来事を知らないとは。そんな人は、あなたぐらいのものでしょう」と言いました。 19 「どんなことでしょうか？」「ナザレ出身のイエス様のことをご存じないのですか。この方は、信じられないような奇跡を幾つもなさった預言者で、すばらしい教師でもあったのです。神からも人からも重んじられていたのですが、 20 祭司長やほかの宗教的指導者たちは、理不尽にもこの方をつかまえて、ローマ政府に引き渡し、十字架につけてしまったのです。 21-23 私たちは、この方こそ栄光に輝くメシヤで、イスラエルを救うために来られたに違いないと考えていたのですが。ところが、話はそれで終わらないのです。弟子仲間の女たちが、なんとも奇妙なことを言いだしたのです。処刑があった日から、今日で三日目になりますが、今朝がた早く、その女たちが墓へ行ったところ、イエス様のお体は影も形もなかったというではありませんか。しかもその場に天使が現れて、イエス様は生きておられると語ったとか……。 24 その話を聞いて、仲間のある者たちが墓へ駆けつけて確認したのですが、彼らも口をそろえて、墓は空っぽだったと証言しているのです。」 25 「ああ、どうしてそんなに、心が鈍いのですか。預言者たちが聖書に書いていることを信じられないのですか。 26 キリストは栄光の時を迎える前に、必ずこのような苦しみを受けるはずだと、預言者たちははっきり語ったではありませんか。」 27 それからイエスは、創世記から始めて、聖書（旧約）全体にわたって次々と預言者のことばを引用しては、救い主についての教えを説き明かされました。
28 そうこうするうち、エマオに近づきましたが、イエスはまだ旅を続ける様子です。 29 二人は、じきに暗くなるから、今晩はここでいっしょに泊まってくださいと熱心に頼みました。それでイエスもいっしょに家に入りました。 30 食卓に着くと、イエスはパンを取り、神に祝福を祈り求め、ちぎって二人に渡しました。 31 その瞬間、二人の目が開かれ、その人がイエスだとわかりました。と同時に、イエスの姿はかき消すように見えなくなりました。 32 二人はあっけにとられながらも、「そう言えば、あの方が歩きながら語りかけてくださった時も、聖書のことばを説明してくださった時も、不思議なほど私たちの心が燃えていたではないか」と語り合いました。 33-34 そして、すぐエルサレムへ取って返しました。戻ってみると、十一人の弟子たちやほかの弟子たちが迎え、「主は、ほんとうに復活された。ペテロがお会いしたのだからまちがいない」と話していました。 35 そこで二人も、エマオへ行く途中イエスと出会ったことや、パンをちぎられた時にはっきりイエスだとわかったことなどを話しました。
36 これらの話をしている時、突然イエスが現れ、みんなの真ん中に立たれたのです。 37 彼らは幽霊を見ているのだと勘違いし、ぶるぶる震えました。 38 「なぜそんなに驚くのですか。どうしてそんなに疑うのですか。 39 さあ、この手を、この足を、よくごらんなさい。わたしにまちがいないでしょう。さあ、さわってみなさい。これでも幽霊でしょうか。幽霊だったら、体などないはずです。」 40 イエスはそう言いながら、手を差し出して釘の跡を見せ、また、足の傷もお示しになりました。 41 弟子たちは、うれしいけれども、まだ半信半疑です。心を決めかねて、ぼう然としていました。それでイエスは、「何か食べ物がありますか」とお尋ねになりました。 42 焼き魚を一切れ差し上げると、 43 イエスはみんなの見ている前で召し上がりました。
44 イエスは言われました。「以前、いっしょにいた時、モーセや預言者の書いたこと、それに聖書の詩篇にあることは、必ずそのとおりになると話して聞かせたはずです。忘れてしまったのですか。」 45 イエスが弟子たちの心の目を開いてくださったので、彼らはやっと理解しました。 46 イエスは、さらに続けられました。「キリストは苦しめられ、殺され、そして三日目に復活することが、ずっと昔から記されていたのです。 47 悔い改めてわたしのもとに立ち返る人は、だれでも罪が赦されます。この救いの知らせは、エルサレムから始まり、世界中に伝えられるのです。 48 あなたがたはこのことの証人です。初めから何もかも見てきたのですから。 49 わたしは、父が約束してくださった聖霊をあなたがたに送ります。しかし、聖霊が来て、天からの力で満たしてくださるまでは、都にとどまっていなさい。」

24 (A)But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, (B)taking the spices they had prepared. 2 And they found (C)the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were perplexed about this, behold, (D)two (E)men stood by them in dazzling apparel. 5 And as they were (F)frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, (G)while he was still in Galilee, 7 (H)that the Son of Man (I)must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and (J)be crucified and on (K)the third day rise.” 8 And (L)they remembered his words, 9 and returning from the tomb they (M)told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. 10 Now it was (N)Mary Magdalene and (O)Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles, 11 but these words seemed to them an idle tale, and (P)they did not believe them. 12 But (Q)Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw (R)the linen cloths by themselves; and he went home marveling at what had happened.

13 That very day (S)two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles[a] from Jerusalem, 14 and they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened. 15 While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them. 16 (T)But their eyes were kept from recognizing him. 17 And he said to them, “What is this conversation that you are holding with each other as you walk?” And they stood still, looking sad. 18 Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?” 19 And he said to them, “What things?” And they said to him, “Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was (U)a prophet (V)mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, 20 and (W)how our chief priests and (X)rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him. 21 But we had hoped that he was (Y)the one to redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now (Z)the third day since these things happened. 22 Moreover, some women of our company amazed us. 36 As they were talking about these things, (AW)Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace to you!” 37 But they were (AX)startled and (AY)frightened and (AZ)thought they saw a spirit. 38 And he said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” 40 And when he had said this, (BB)he showed them his hands and his feet. 41 And while they still disbelieved (BC)for joy and were marveling, (BD)he said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?” 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish,[b] 43 and he took it and ate before them.
44 Then he said to them, (BE)“These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, (BF)that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” 45 Then (BG)he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 46 and said to them, “Thus (BH)it is written, (BI)that the Christ should suffer and on the third day (BJ)rise from the dead, 47 and that (BK)repentance for[c] the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed (BL)in his name (BM)to all nations, (BN)beginning from Jerusalem. 48 (BO)You are witnesses of these things. 49 And behold, I am sending (BP)the promise of my Father upon you. The Ascension
50 And (BT)he led them out as far as (BU)Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them. 51 While he blessed them, (BV)he parted from them and was carried up into heaven. 52 And they (BW)worshiped him and (BX)returned to Jerusalem (BY)with great joy, 53 and (BZ)were continually in the temple (CA)blessing God.

19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;
23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,
34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.
36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
43 And he took it, and did eat before them.
44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 And ye are witnesses of these things.
49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
