6 彼拉多聽了[a]，就問：「這人是不是加利利人？」 7 當他了解耶穌屬於希律管轄，就把他送到希律那裡。在那些日子裡，希律正好也在耶路撒冷。 8 希律見到耶穌就極其歡喜，因為他聽說過耶穌的事，早就想要見他，一直希望看他行個神蹟。

6 When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.
7 And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.
8 And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.
