猶大出賣耶穌
22 除酵節，又名逾越節，快到了。 2 祭司長和律法教師因為害怕百姓，便密謀如何殺害耶穌。 3 這時，撒旦進入加略人猶大的心，這人原是十二使徒之一。 4 他去見祭司長和聖殿護衛長，商議如何把耶穌出賣給他們， 5 他們喜出望外，答應給猶大一筆酬金。 6 猶大同意了，便伺機找百姓不在的場合將耶穌交給他們。
最後的晚餐
7 除酵節到了，那天要宰殺逾越羊羔。 8 耶穌差派彼得和約翰出去，說：「你們為我們準備逾越節吃的晚餐。」
9 他們問：「你要我們到哪裡去預備呢？」
10 耶穌回答說：「你們進城的時候，一個男子會扛著一瓶水迎面走來，你們要跟著他，他進哪所房子，你們也進去， 11 對房子的主人說，『老師問你客房在哪裡，祂要和門徒在裡面吃逾越節的晚餐。』 12 那主人會帶你們到樓上一間佈置整齊的大房間，你們就在那裡預備吧。」
13 他們進了城，所遇見的果然和耶穌所說的一樣。他們便在那裡預備逾越節的晚餐。
設立聖餐
14 晚餐時，耶穌和使徒們一同坐席。 15 耶穌對他們說：「我一直盼望在受難之前和你們同吃這個逾越節的宴席。 16 我告訴你們，在這宴席成就在上帝的國度之前，我不會再吃這宴席了。」
17 祂接過杯來，祝謝後，說：「你們拿去分著喝吧。 18 我告訴你們，在上帝的國降臨之前，我不會再喝這葡萄酒了。」
19 接著，祂拿起餅來，祝謝後，掰開遞給他們，說：「這是我為你們犧牲的身體，你們今後也要這樣做，以紀念我。」
20 飯後，祂又舉起杯來，說：「這杯是用我的血立的新約，這血是為你們流的。
21 「但是看啊，那出賣我之人的手和我的手都在桌子上。 22 按照所定的，人子要死去，但那出賣人子的人有禍了！」 23 他們開始彼此追問誰會出賣耶穌。
誰最偉大
24 門徒又開始爭論他們當中誰最偉大。 25 耶穌對他們說：「外族人有君王統治他們，那些統治者被稱為恩主， 26 但你們不可這樣。相反，你們中間地位最高的，要像最卑微的；做首領的，要像服侍人的。 27 坐著吃飯的和伺候的哪個地位高呢？難道不是坐著的那個嗎？然而，我在你們當中是服侍人的。
28 「在我患難之時，你們一直在我身邊， 29 所以，我父怎樣將國賜給我，我也照樣將國賜給你們， 30 使你們在我的國中和我一同坐席，並且坐在寶座上審判以色列的十二個支派。」
預言彼得不認主
31 耶穌說：「西門！西門！撒旦已經要求像篩麥子一樣篩你們， 32 但我已經為你禱告了，叫你不至於失去信心。你回頭以後，要讓你的弟兄剛強。」
33 西門·彼得說：「主啊，我願意和你一起坐牢，一起受死！」
34 耶穌說：「彼得，我告訴你，明早雞叫之前，你會三次不認我。」
35 耶穌又問門徒：「我派你們出去的時候，無錢袋、背包和鞋子，你們有任何缺乏嗎？」
他們答道：「沒有。」
36 耶穌說：「但現在如果有錢袋或背包，都要帶著；如果沒有刀劍，要賣掉衣服買刀劍。 37 我告訴你們，『祂要被列在罪犯中』這句經文必在我身上應驗，因為聖經上有關我的事情快要實現了。」
38 他們說：「主啊，請看，這裡有兩把刀。」耶穌說：「夠了。」
橄欖山上的禱告
39 耶穌離開，像往常一樣前往橄欖山，門徒也跟去了。 40 到了山上，祂對門徒說：「你們要禱告，以免陷入誘惑！」
41 然後，祂獨自走到離門徒約有扔一塊石頭那麼遠的地方跪下禱告： 42 「父啊，若你願意，求你撤去此杯，然而，願你的旨意成就，而非我的意願。」 43 有一位從天上來的天使向祂顯現，給祂加添力量。
44 祂心中極其悲痛，禱告更懇切，汗珠如血滴在地上。
45 祂禱告完後，便起身回到門徒那裡，看見他們因憂愁而疲憊地睡著了， 46 就說：「你們為什麼睡覺呢？要起來禱告，以免陷入誘惑！」
耶穌被捕
47 耶穌還在說話的時候，十二使徒中的猶大已帶著一群人趕到，他上前親吻耶穌。 48 耶穌對他說：「猶大，你用親吻的暗號來出賣人子嗎？」
49 跟隨耶穌的人見他們來勢洶洶，就說：「主啊，我們該拔刀抵抗嗎？」 50 其中一人拔刀朝大祭司的奴僕砍過去，削掉了他的右耳。
51 耶穌卻說：「住手！夠了！」於是祂摸那奴僕的耳朵，治好了他， 52 然後對前來抓祂的祭司長、聖殿護衛長和長老說：「你們像對付強盜一樣拿著刀棍來抓我嗎？ 53 我天天和你們一起在聖殿裡，你們沒有抓我。但現在正是黑暗當權、你們得勢的時候了！」
彼得不認主
54 他們把耶穌押到大祭司的府第。彼得遠遠地跟在後面。
55 他們在庭院當中生起了火，圍坐取暖，彼得也坐在他們中間。 56 有個婢女看見彼得坐在火堆邊，打量他一番後，說：「這人是與耶穌一夥的！」
57 彼得卻否認說：「你這女子，我不認識祂。」
58 過了一會兒，又有個人看見了彼得，就說：「你也是跟他們一夥的！」
彼得說：「你這人，我不是！」
59 大約一小時之後，又有人指著彼得肯定地說：「這人確實是和耶穌一夥的，因為他也是加利利人。」
60 彼得說：「你這人，我不知道你在說什麼！」話才出口，雞就叫了。
61 這時，主轉過頭來望著彼得，彼得想起主對他說的話：「明早雞叫之前，你會三次不認我。」 62 他就到外面，痛哭起來。
在公會受審
63 看守耶穌的人嘲弄祂，毆打祂， 64 蒙住祂的眼睛，對祂說：「說預言吧！是誰在打你？」 65 還說了許多侮辱祂的話。
66 天亮後，民間的長老、祭司長和律法教師聚在一起，把耶穌押到他們的公會， 67 對祂說：「如果你是基督，就告訴我們。」
耶穌說：「即使我告訴你們，你們也不會相信。 68 如果我問你們，你們也不會回答。 69 但從今以後，人子要坐在全能上帝的右邊。」
70 他們都問：「那麼，你是上帝的兒子嗎？」耶穌回答說：「你們說我是。」
71 他們說：「我們還需要什麼見證呢？我們已經聽見祂自己說的了。」

22 除酵节又名逾越节近了。 2 祭司长和经学家设法怎样杀害耶稣，因为他们惧怕群众。 3 那时，撒但已经进入加略人犹大的心，他原是十二门徒中的一个。 4 他去与祭司长和守殿官商量怎样把耶稣交给他们。 5 他们很高兴，约定了给他银子。 6 他答应了，就寻找机会，要趁群众不在的时候，把耶稣交给他们。
预备逾越节的筵席(B)

24 门徒中间又起了争论：他们中间谁是最大的。 25 耶稣对他们说：“各国都有君王统治他们，他们的掌权者称为恩主， 26 但你们却不要这样；你们中间最大的，应当像最小的；作首领的，应当像服事人的。 27 哪一个大呢？是坐着吃喝的还是服事人的呢？不是坐着吃喝的吗？然而我在你们中间，如同服事人的。 28 我在磨炼之中，常常和我同在的就是你们。 29 父怎样把王权赐给我，我也照样赐给你们， 30 叫你们在我的国里坐在我的席上吃喝，又坐在宝座上审判以色列的十二支派。

31 “西门，西门，撒但设法要得着你们，好筛你们像筛麦子一样； 32 但我已经为你祈求，叫你的信心不至失掉。你回头的时候，要坚固你的弟兄。” 33 彼得说：“主啊！我已经准备好要跟你一同下监，一同死。” 34 耶稣说：“彼得，我告诉你，今天鸡叫以前，你会三次说不认得我。”
要带钱囊、口袋和刀
35 耶稣又对他们说：“从前我差你们出去，没有带钱囊、口袋、鞋子，你们缺乏甚么没有？”他们说：“没有。” 36 耶稣说：“但现在，有钱囊的应当带着，有口袋的也是这样；没有刀的，要卖掉衣服去买刀。 37 我告诉你们，‘他被列在不法者之中’这句经文，必定应验在我身上，因为关于我的事必然成就。” 38 他们说：“主啊，请看，这里有两把刀。”耶稣说：“够了。”

39 耶稣照常到橄榄山去，门徒也跟着他。 40 到了那里，他对门徒说：“你们应当祷告，免得陷入试探。” 41 于是耶稣离开他们约有扔一块石头那么远，跪下祷告说： 42 “父啊，如果你愿意，就把这杯拿走！但不要成就我的意思，只要成就你的旨意。”（有些抄本有第43、44节：“有一位天使从天上显现，加给他力量。耶稣非常伤痛，祷告更加恳切，汗如大血点滴在地上。”） 45 他祷告完了，就起来到门徒那里，看见他们因为忧愁都睡着了， 46 就说：“你们为甚么睡觉呢？起来祷告！免得陷入试探。”

47 耶稣还在说话的时候，来了一群人，十二门徒中的犹大走在前头，到了耶稣跟前要用嘴亲他。 48 耶稣对他说：“犹大，你用亲吻作暗号出卖人子吗？” 49 左右的人见了，就说：“主啊，我们用刀砍好吗？” 50 他们中间有一个人砍了大祭司的仆人一刀，削掉他的右耳。 51 耶稣说：“由他们吧！”就摸那人的耳朵，医好了他。 52 耶稣对那些前来捉拿他的祭司长、守殿官和长老说：“你们带着刀棒出来，把我当作强盗捉拿吗？ 53 我天天跟你们在殿里，你们不向我下手；但现在是你们的时候了，也是黑暗掌权的时候了。”

The Plot to Kill Jesus
22 Now the Festival of Unleavened Bread, which is called the Passover, was near.(A) 2 The chief priests and the scribes were looking for a way to put Jesus[a] to death, for they were afraid of the people.(B)
3 Then Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, who was one of the twelve;(C) 4 he went away and conferred with the chief priests and officers of the temple police about how he might betray him to them. 5 They were greatly pleased and agreed to give him money.(D) 6 So he consented and began to look for an opportunity to betray him to them when no crowd was present.
The Preparation of the Passover
7 Then came the day of Unleavened Bread, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.(E) 8 So Jesus[b] sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover meal for us that we may eat it.”(F) 9 They asked him, “Where do you want us to make preparations for it?” 10 “Listen,” he said to them, “when you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you; follow him into the house he enters 11 and say to the owner of the house, ‘The teacher asks you, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?” ’ 12 He will show you a large room upstairs, already furnished. Make preparations for us there.” 13 So they went and found everything as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover meal.
The Institution of the Lord’s Supper
14 When the hour came, he took his place at the table, and the apostles with him. 15 He said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer, 16 for I tell you, I will not eat it[c] until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”(G) 17 Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves, 18 for I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” 19 Then he took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 20 And he did the same with the cup after supper, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.[d] 21 But see, the one who betrays me is with me, and his hand is on the table.(H) 22 For the Son of Man is going as it has been determined, but woe to that one by whom he is betrayed!”(I) 23 Then they began to ask one another which one of them it could be who would do this.
The Dispute about Greatness
24 A dispute also arose among them as to which one of them was to be regarded as the greatest.(J) 25 But he said to them, “The kings of the gentiles lord it over them, and those in authority over them are called benefactors.(K) 26 But not so with you; rather, the greatest among you must become like the youngest and the leader like one who serves.(L) 27 For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.(M)
28 “You are those who have stood by me in my trials,(N) 29 and I confer on you, just as my Father has conferred on me, a kingdom,(O) 30 so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.(P)
Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial
31 “Simon, Simon, listen! Satan has demanded[e] to sift all of you like wheat,(Q) 32 but I have prayed for you that your own faith may not fail, and you, when once you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”(R) 33 And he said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death!” 34 Jesus[f] said, “I tell you, Peter, the cock will not crow this day until you have denied three times that you know me.”
Purse, Bag, and Sword
35 He said to them, “When I sent you out without a purse, bag, or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “No, not a thing.”(S) 36 He said to them, “But now, the one who has a purse must take it, and likewise a bag. And the one who has no sword must sell his cloak and buy one. 37 For I tell you, this scripture must be fulfilled in me, ‘And he was counted among the lawless,’ and indeed what is written about me is being fulfilled.”(T) 38 They said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.” He replied, “It is enough.”
Jesus Prays on the Mount of Olives
39 He came out and went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him.(U) 40 When he reached the place, he said to them, “Pray that you may not come into the time of trial.”[g](V) 41 Then he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and prayed, 42 “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me, yet not my will but yours be done.”(W) [[43 Then an angel from heaven appeared to him and gave him strength.(X) 44 In his anguish he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.]][h](Y) 45 When he got up from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping because of grief, 46 and he said to them, “Why are you sleeping? The Betrayal and Arrest of Jesus
47 While he was still speaking, suddenly a crowd came, and the one called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him, 48 but Jesus said to him, “Judas, is it with a kiss that you are betraying the Son of Man?” 49 When those who were around him saw what was coming, they asked, “Lord, should we strike with the sword?”(AA) 50 Then one of them struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his right ear. 51 But Jesus said, “No more of this!” And he touched his ear and healed him. 52 Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple police, and the elders who had come for him, “Have you come out with swords and clubs as though I were a rebel?(AB) 53 When I was with you day after day in the temple, you did not lay hands on me. But this is your hour and the power of darkness!”(AC)
Peter Denies Jesus
54 Then they seized him and led him away, bringing him into the high priest’s house. But Peter was following at a distance.(AD) 55 When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat among them. 56 Then a female servant, seeing him in the firelight, stared at him and said, “This man also was with him.” 57 But he denied it, saying, “Woman, I do not know him.” 58 A little later someone else, on seeing him, said, “You also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man, I am not!” 59 Then about an hour later still another kept insisting, “Surely this man also was with him, for he is a Galilean.” 60 But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are talking about!” At that moment, while he was still speaking, the cock crowed. 61 The Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said to him, “Before the cock crows today, you will deny me three times.”(AE) 62 And he went out and wept bitterly.
The Mocking and Beating of Jesus
63 Now the men who were holding Jesus[j] began to mock him and beat him;(AF) 64 they also blindfolded him and kept asking him, “Prophesy! Who is it who struck you?” 65 They kept heaping many other insults on him.
Jesus before the Council
66 When day came, the assembly of the elders of the people, both chief priests and scribes, gathered together, and they brought him to their council.(AG) 67 They said, “If you are the Messiah,[k] tell us.” He replied, “If I tell you, you will not believe,(AH) 68 and if I question you, you will not answer.[l] 69 But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.” 70 All of them asked, “Are you, then, the Son of God?” He said to them, “You say that I am.”(AI) 71 Then they said, “What further testimony do we need? We have heard it ourselves from his own lips!”
