21 耶稣抬眼看见有钱的人把奉献投入奉献箱。 2 他又看见一个穷寡妇，投入两个小钱， 3 就说：“我实在告诉你们，这个穷寡妇所投的，比众人投的更多。 4 因为这些人都是把自己剩余的投进去作奉献，这寡妇是自己不足，却把所有养生的都投进去了。”

5 有人在谈论圣殿，是用美丽的石头和供物装饰的。耶稣说： 6 “你们看见的这些，到了日子，必没有一块石头留在另一块石头上面，每一块都要拆下来。”

La ofrenda de la viuda
21 Mientras Jesús estaba en el templo, observó a los ricos que depositaban sus ofrendas en la caja de las ofrendas. 2 Luego pasó una viuda pobre y echó dos monedas pequeñas.[a]
3 «Les digo la verdad —dijo Jesús—, esta viuda pobre ha dado más que todos los demás. 4 Pues ellos dieron una mínima parte de lo que les sobraba, pero ella, con lo pobre que es, dio todo lo que tenía».

5 Algunos de sus discípulos comenzaron a hablar acerca del templo, con su majestuosa arquitectura de piedra y las decoraciones conmemorativas que adornaban las paredes. Pero Jesús les dijo: 6 «Viene el tiempo cuando todo esto será demolido por completo. ¡No quedará ni una sola piedra sobre otra!».

8 Él les contestó:
—No dejen que nadie los engañe, porque muchos vendrán en mi nombre y afirmarán: “Yo soy el Mesías”[b] y dirán: “El tiempo ha llegado”; pero no les crean. 9 Cuando oigan de guerras y de levantamientos, no se dejen llevar por el pánico. Es verdad, esas cosas deben suceder primero, pero el fin no vendrá inmediatamente después.
10 Luego agregó:
—Una nación entrará en guerra con otra, y un reino con otro reino. 11 Habrá grandes terremotos, hambres y plagas en muchos países, y sucederán cosas aterradoras y grandes señales milagrosas del cielo.
12 »Pero antes de que ocurra todo eso, habrá un tiempo de gran persecución. Los arrastrarán a las sinagogas y a las prisiones, y serán sometidos a juicio ante reyes y gobernantes, todo por ser mis seguidores; 13 pero esa será una oportunidad para que ustedes les hablen de mí.[c] 14 Así que no se preocupen de antemano por cómo contestarán los cargos en su contra, 15 porque yo les daré las palabras apropiadas y tal sabiduría que ninguno de sus adversarios podrá responderles o refutarlos. 16 Aun sus seres más cercanos—padres, hermanos, familiares y amigos—los traicionarán. Incluso a algunos de ustedes los matarán. 17 Todos los odiarán por ser mis seguidores,[d] 18 pero ni un solo cabello de su cabeza perecerá. 19 Al mantenerse firmes, ganarán su alma.
20 »Cuando vean a Jerusalén rodeada de ejércitos, entonces sabrán que ha llegado el tiempo de su destrucción. 21 Entonces los que estén en Judea huyan a las colinas. Los que estén en Jerusalén deben salir, y los que estén en el campo no deben volver a la ciudad. 22 Pues serán días de la venganza de Dios, y las palabras proféticas de las Escrituras se cumplirán. 23 ¡Qué terribles serán esos días para las mujeres embarazadas y para las madres que amamantan! 25 »Y habrá señales extrañas en el sol, en la luna y en las estrellas. 34 »¡Tengan cuidado! No dejen que su corazón se entorpezca con parrandas y borracheras, ni por las preocupaciones de esta vida. No dejen que ese día los agarre desprevenidos, 35 como una trampa. Pues ese día vendrá sobre cada ser viviente de la tierra. 36 Manténganse siempre alerta. Y oren para que sean suficientemente fuertes para escapar de los horrores que vendrán y para presentarse delante del Hijo del Hombre.
37 Cada día Jesús iba al templo a enseñar y cada tarde regresaba a pasar la noche en el monte de los Olivos. 38 Todas las mañanas, desde muy temprano, las multitudes se reunían en el templo para escucharlo.

The Widow’s Two Mites(A)
21 And He looked up (B)and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, 2 and He saw also a certain (C)poor widow putting in two (D)mites.[a] 3 So He said, “Truly I say to you (E)that this poor widow has put in more than all; 4 for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings [b]for God, but she out of her poverty put in (F)all the livelihood that she had.”
Jesus Predicts the Destruction of the Temple(G)
5 (H)Then, as some spoke of the temple, how it was [c]adorned with beautiful stones and donations, He said, 6 “These things which you see—the days will come in which (I)not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down.”
The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age(J)
7 So they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, but when will these things be? And what sign will there be when these things are about to take place?”
8 And He said: (K)“Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ [d]Therefore do not [e]go after them. 9 But when you hear of (L)wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.”
10 (M)Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 And there will be great (N)earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. 12 (O)But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and (P)prisons. (Q)You will be brought before kings and rulers (R)for My name’s sake. 13 But (S)it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. 14 (T)Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will [f]answer; 15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom (U)which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or [g]resist. 16 (V)You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put (W)some of you to death. 17 And (X)you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. 18 (Y)But not a hair of your head shall be lost. 19 By your patience possess your souls.
The Destruction of Jerusalem(Z)
20 (AA)“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that (AB)all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 (AC)But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles (AD)until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
The Coming of the Son of Man(AE)
25 (AF)“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, (AG)for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man (AH)coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because (AI)your redemption draws near.”
The Parable of the Fig Tree(AJ)
29 (AK)Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30 When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. 31 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. 33 (AL)Heaven and earth will pass away, but My (AM)words will by no means pass away.
The Importance of Watching(AN)
34 “But (AO)take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with [h]carousing, drunkenness, and (AP)cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For (AQ)it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 (AR)Watch therefore, and (AS)pray always that you may [i]be counted (AT)worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and (AU)to stand before the Son of Man.”
37 (AV)And in the daytime He was teaching in the temple, but (AW)at night He went out and stayed on the mountain called Olivet. 38 Then early in the morning all the people came to Him in the temple to hear Him.
