¹⁶他要來除滅這些園戶，將葡萄園轉給別人。」聽見的人說：「這是萬不可的！」 ¹⁷耶穌看著他們說：「經上記著：『匠人所棄的石頭，已做了房角的頭塊石頭。』這是什麼意思呢？ ¹⁸凡掉在那石頭上的，必要跌碎；那石頭掉在誰的身上，就要把誰砸得稀爛。」

¹⁶He will come and kill those tenants^(A) and give the vineyard to others.”

When the people heard this, they said, “God forbid!”

¹⁷Jesus looked directly at them and asked, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written:

“‘The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone’^[a]?^(B)

¹⁸Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”^(C)
