“那么，园主会怎样处治他们呢？ ¹⁶他必来杀掉这些佃户，把葡萄园转租给别人。”

众人听了就说：“但愿这种事永远不会发生！”

¹⁷耶稣定睛看着他们，问道：“那么，圣经上说，

“‘工匠丢弃的石头已成了房角石’，

这句话是什么意思呢？

¹⁵So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.

“What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them? ¹⁶He will come and kill those tenants^(A) and give the vineyard to others.”

When the people heard this, they said, “God forbid!”

¹⁷Jesus looked directly at them and asked, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written:

“‘The stone the builders rejected
