8 在 伯 利 恆 之 野 地 裡 有 牧 羊 的 人 ， 夜 間 按 著 更 次 看 守 羊 群 。
9 有 主 的 使 者 站 在 他 們 旁 邊 ， 主 的 榮 光 四 面 照 著 他 們 ； 牧 羊 的 人 就 甚 懼 怕 。
10 那 天 使 對 他 們 說 ： 不 要 懼 怕 ！ 我 報 給 你 們 大 喜 的 信 息 ， 是 關 乎 萬 民 的 ；
11 因 今 天 在 大 衛 的 城 裡 ， 為 你 們 生 了 救 主 ， 就 是 主 基 督 。
12 你 們 要 看 見 一 個 嬰 孩 ， 包 著 布 ， 臥 在 馬 槽 裡 ， 那 就 是 記 號 了 。
13 忽 然 ， 有 一 大 隊 天 兵 同 那 天 使 讚 美 神 說 ：
14 在 至 高 之 處 榮 耀 歸 與 神 ！ 在 地 上 平 安 歸 與 他 所 喜 悅 的 人 （ 有 古 卷 作 ： 喜 悅 歸 與 人 ） ！

8 当晚，伯利恒郊外有一群牧羊人正在看守羊群。 9 忽然，主的天使向他们显现，主的荣光四面照着他们，他们非常害怕。 10 天使对他们说：“不要怕！我告诉你们一个有关万民的大喜讯， 11 今天在大卫的城里有一位救主为你们降生了，祂就是主基督！ 12 你们将看见一个婴孩包着布躺在马槽里，这就是给你们的记号。”
13 忽然，有一大队天军出现，与那天使一同赞美上帝说：
14 “在至高之处，
愿荣耀归于上帝！
在地上，
愿平安临到祂所喜悦的人！”

8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel(A) of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid.(B) I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior(C) has been born to you; he is the Messiah,(D) the Lord.(E) 12 This will be a sign(F) to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace(G) to those on whom his favor rests.”
