寡婦與法官的比喻
18 耶穌對他們講一個比喻，論到人必須常常祈禱，不可灰心。 2 他說：“某城裡有一個法官，不懼怕 神，也不尊敬人。 3 那城裡有一個寡婦，常常來到他那裡，說：‘求你給我伸冤，使我脫離我的對頭！’ 4 他多次不肯，後來心裡說：‘我雖然不懼怕 神，也不尊敬人， 5 只是因為這寡婦常常來麻煩我，就給她伸冤吧，免得她不斷地來纏擾我。’” 6 主說：“你們聽聽這不義的法官所說的話吧。 7 難道 神不會為晝夜呼籲他的選民伸冤嗎？難道 神會耽誤他們嗎？ 8 我告訴你們，他要快快地給他們伸冤。然而人子來的時候，在世上找得到這種信心嗎？”
稅吏和法利賽人的禱告
9 耶穌向那些自恃為義、輕視別人的人，講了這個比喻： 10 “有兩個人上聖殿去祈禱，一個是法利賽人，一個是稅吏。 11 法利賽人站著，禱告給自己聽，這樣說：‘ 神啊，我感謝你，我不像別人，勒索、不義、姦淫，也不像這個稅吏。 12 我一個禮拜禁食兩次，我的一切收入都奉獻十分之一。’ 13 稅吏卻遠遠站著，連舉目望天也不敢，只捶著胸說：‘ 神啊，可憐我這個罪人！’ 14 我告訴你們，這個人回家去，比那個倒算為義了。因為高抬自己的，必要降卑；自己謙卑的，必要升高。”
讓小孩子到我這裡來(A)
15 有人抱著嬰孩到耶穌面前，要他觸摸他們。門徒看見了，就責備那些人。 16 耶穌卻叫他們過來，說：“讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要禁止他們，因為 神的國正屬於這樣的人。 17 我實在告訴你們，凡不像小孩子一樣接受 神的國的，決不能進去。”
有錢的人難進 神的國(B)
18 有一個官長問耶穌：“良善的老師，我當作甚麼，才可以承受永生？” 19 耶穌對他說：“你為甚麼稱我是良善的呢？除了 神一位以外，沒有良善的。 20 誡命你是知道的：不可姦淫，不可殺人，不可偷盜，不可作假見證，當孝敬父母。” 21 他說：“這一切我從小都遵守了。” 22 耶穌聽了，就告訴他：“你還缺少一件，應當變賣你一切所有的，分給窮人，你就必定有財寶在天上，而且你還要來跟從我。” 23 他聽見這話，非常憂愁，因為他十分富有。
24 耶穌見他這樣，就說：“富有的人要進 神的國，是多麼難哪！ 25 駱駝穿過針眼，比有錢的人進 神的國還容易呢。” 26 聽見的人說：“這樣，誰可以得救呢？” 27 耶穌說：“人所不能的，在 神卻是可能的。” 28 彼得說：“你看，我們已捨棄自己所有的，跟從你了！” 29 耶穌說：“我實在告訴你們，人為 神的國撇下房屋、妻子、弟兄、父母或兒女， 30 沒有不在今世得許多倍，來世得永生的。”
第三次預言受難及復活(C)
31 耶穌把十二門徒帶到一邊，對他們說：“我們現在上耶路撒冷去，先知所寫的一切，都要成就在人子身上。 32 他要被交給外族人，受戲弄，被凌辱，他們要向他吐唾沫， 33 鞭打他，殺害他；第三日他要復活。” 34 這些話的含義對門徒是隱藏的。他們聽了，一點也不明白，不知道他說的是甚麼。
治好瞎眼的人(D)
35 耶穌走近耶利哥的時候，有一個瞎眼的人坐在路旁討飯， 36 他聽見人群經過，就問是甚麼事。 37 別人告訴他，是拿撒勒人耶穌經過。 38 他就喊叫說：“大衛的子孫耶穌啊，可憐我吧！” 39 在前頭走的人責備他，叫他不要出聲；但他越發喊叫：“大衛的子孫，可憐我吧！” 40 耶穌站住，吩咐領他過來。等他走近，就問他： 41 “你要我為你作甚麼？”他說：“主啊，叫我能看見！” 42 耶穌說：“你就看見吧！你的信使你痊愈了。” 43 他立刻看見了，就跟隨耶穌，頌讚 神。眾人看見這事，也讚美 神。

Parábola de la viuda y el juez injusto
18 Jesús les contó una parábola para enseñarles que ellos debían orar(A) en todo tiempo, y no desfallecer(B): 2 «Había en cierta ciudad un juez que ni temía a Dios ni respetaba a hombre alguno(C). 3 También había en aquella ciudad una viuda, la cual venía a él constantemente, diciendo: “Hágame usted justicia de mi adversario”. 4 Por algún tiempo el juez no quiso, pero después dijo para sí: “Aunque ni temo a Dios, ni respeto a hombre alguno(D), 5 sin embargo, porque esta viuda me molesta(E), le haré justicia; no sea que por venir continuamente me agote la paciencia[a](F)”».
6 El Señor(G) dijo: «Escuchen lo que dijo* el juez injusto. 7 ¿Y no hará Dios justicia(H)a Sus escogidos(I), que claman a Él día y noche? ¿Se tardará mucho en responderles?[b](J) 8 Les digo que pronto les hará justicia. No obstante, cuando el Hijo del Hombre venga, ¿hallará fe[c](K)en la tierra?».
Parábola del fariseo y el publicano
9 Dijo también Jesús esta parábola a unos que confiaban en sí mismos(L) como justos, y despreciaban a los demás(M): 10 «Dos hombres subieron al templo a orar(N); uno era fariseo y el otro recaudador de impuestos[d]. 11 El fariseo puesto en pie, oraba(O)para sí de esta manera: “Dios, te doy gracias porque no soy como los demás hombres: estafadores, injustos, adúlteros; ni aun como este recaudador de impuestos. 12 Yo ayuno(P)dos veces por semana; doy el diezmo de todo lo que gano(Q)”. 13 Pero el recaudador de impuestos, de pie(R)y a cierta distancia, no quería ni siquiera alzar los ojos al cielo(S), sino que se golpeaba el pecho(T), diciendo: “Dios, ten piedad de[e]mí, pecador”.
14 »Les digo que este descendió a su casa justificado pero aquel no; porque todo el que se engrandece será humillado, pero el que se humilla será engrandecido(U) ».
Jesús y los niños
15 (V)Y traían a Jesús aun a los niños muy pequeños para que los tocara. Al ver esto los discípulos, los reprendían. 16 Pero Jesús, llamándolos a su lado, dijo: «Dejen que los niños vengan a Mí, y no se lo impidan, porque de los que son como estos[f]es el reino de Dios. 17 En verdad les digo, que el que no recibe el reino de Dios como un niño, no entrará en él(W)».
El joven rico
18 (X)Cierto hombre prominente[g] le preguntó a Jesús: «Maestro bueno, ¿qué haré para heredar la vida eterna?».
19 Jesús le respondió: «¿Por qué me llamas bueno? Nadie es bueno, sino solo uno, Dios. 20 Tú sabes los mandamientos: “No cometas adulterio, no mates, no hurtes, no des falso testimonio, honra a tu padre y a tu madre(Y)”». 21 «Todo esto lo he guardado desde mi juventud», dijo el hombre.
22 Cuando Jesús oyó esto, le dijo: «Te falta todavía una cosa; vende todo lo que tienes y reparte entre los pobres, y tendrás tesoro en los cielos(Z); y ven, sígueme(AA)». 23 Pero al oír esto, se puso muy triste, pues era sumamente rico.
24 Mirándolo Jesús, dijo: «¡Qué difícil es que entren en el reino de Dios los que tienen riquezas(AB)! 25 Porque es más fácil que un camello pase[h]por el ojo de una aguja, que el que un rico entre en el reino de Dios(AC)». 26 Los que oyeron esto, dijeron: «¿Y quién podrá salvarse?». 27 «Lo imposible para los hombres es posible para Dios(AD)», respondió Jesús.
28 Y Pedro dijo: «Nosotros hemos dejado todo[i] y te hemos seguido(AE)». 29 Entonces Él les contestó: «En verdad les digo, que no hay nadie que haya dejado casa, o mujer, o hermanos, o padres o hijos por la causa del reino de Dios(AF), 30 que no reciba muchas veces más en este tiempo, y en el siglo venidero(AG), la vida eterna».
Jesús anuncia Su muerte por tercera vez
31 (AH)Tomando aparte a los doce discípulos, Jesús les dijo: «Miren, subimos a Jerusalén(AI), y se cumplirán todas las cosas que están escritas por medio de los profetas acerca del Hijo del Hombre(AJ). 32 Pues será entregado a los gentiles, y será objeto de burla, afrentado y escupido(AK); 33 y lo azotarán, y después lo matarán, y al tercer día resucitará». 34 Pero ellos no comprendieron nada de esto. Este dicho les estaba encubierto(AL), y no entendían lo que se les decía.
Curación de un ciego
35 (AM)Aconteció que al acercarse Jesús a Jericó, un ciego estaba sentado junto al camino mendigando(AN). 36 Al oír que pasaba una multitud, preguntaba qué era aquello. 37 Y le informaron que pasaba Jesús de Nazaret. 38 Entonces gritó: «¡Jesús, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí(AO)!».
39 Y los que iban delante lo reprendían para que se callara, pero él gritaba mucho más: «¡Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí(AP)!». 40 Jesús se detuvo y[j] ordenó que lo trajeran; y cuando estuvo cerca, le preguntó: 41 «¿Qué deseas que haga por ti?». «Señor, que recobre la vista», contestó el ciego. 42 Jesús entonces le dijo: «Recibe[k]la vista, tu fe te ha sanado[l](AQ)».
43 Al instante recobró la vista y lo seguía glorificando a Dios(AR). Cuando toda la gente vio aquello, dieron gloria a Dios(AS).

Parábola de la viuda y el juez injusto
18 También les refirió Jesús una parábola sobre la necesidad de orar siempre, y no desmayar, 2 diciendo: Había en una ciudad un juez, que ni temía a Dios, ni respetaba a hombre. 3 Había también en aquella ciudad una viuda, la cual venía a él, diciendo: Hazme justicia de mi adversario. 4 Y él no quiso por algún tiempo; pero después de esto dijo dentro de sí: Aunque ni temo a Dios, ni tengo respeto a hombre, 5 sin embargo, porque esta viuda me es molesta, le haré justicia, no sea que viniendo de continuo, me agote la paciencia. 6 Y dijo el Señor: Oíd lo que dijo el juez injusto. 7 ¿Y acaso Dios no hará justicia a sus escogidos, que claman a él día y noche? ¿Se tardará en responderles? 8 Os digo que pronto les hará justicia. Pero cuando venga el Hijo del Hombre, ¿hallará fe en la tierra?
Parábola del fariseo y el publicano
9 A unos que confiaban en sí mismos como justos, y menospreciaban a los otros, dijo también esta parábola: 10 Dos hombres subieron al templo a orar: uno era fariseo, y el otro publicano. 11 El fariseo, puesto en pie, oraba consigo mismo de esta manera: Dios, te doy gracias porque no soy como los otros hombres, ladrones, injustos, adúlteros, ni aun como este publicano; 12 ayuno dos veces a la semana, doy diezmos de todo lo que gano. 13 Mas el publicano, estando lejos, no quería ni aun alzar los ojos al cielo, sino que se golpeaba el pecho, diciendo: Dios, sé propicio a mí, pecador. 14 Os digo que este descendió a su casa justificado antes que el otro; porque cualquiera que se enaltece, será humillado; y el que se humilla será enaltecido.(A)
Jesús bendice a los niños

15 Traían a él los niños para que los tocase; lo cual viendo los discípulos, les reprendieron. 16 Mas Jesús, llamándolos, dijo: Dejad a los niños venir a mí, y no se lo impidáis; porque de los tales es el reino de Dios. 17 De cierto os digo, que el que no recibe el reino de Dios como un niño, no entrará en él.
El joven rico

18 Un hombre principal le preguntó, diciendo: Maestro bueno, ¿qué haré para heredar la vida eterna? 19 Jesús le dijo: ¿Por qué me llamas bueno? The Parable of the Persistent Widow
18 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.(A) 2 He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. 3 And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice(B) against my adversary.’
4 “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’”(C)
6 And the Lord(D) said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out(E) to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man(F) comes,(G) will he find faith on the earth?”
The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector
9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness(H) and looked down on everyone else,(I) Jesus told this parable: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray,(J) one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself(K) and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast(L) twice a week and give a tenth(M) of all I get.’
13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast(N) and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’(O)
14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”(P)
The Little Children and Jesus(Q)
15 People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child(R) will never enter it.”
The Rich and the Kingdom of God(S)
18 A certain ruler asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”(T)
19 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone. 20 You know the commandments: ‘You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.’[a]”(U)
21 “All these I have kept since I was a boy,” he said.
22 When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor,(V) and you will have treasure in heaven.(W) Then come, follow me.”
23 When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was very wealthy. 24 Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!(X) 25 Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
26 Those who heard this asked, “Who then can be saved?”
27 Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”(Y)
28 Peter said to him, “We have left all we had to follow you!”(Z)
29 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus said to them, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or sisters or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God 30 will fail to receive many times as much in this age, and in the age to come(AA) eternal life.”(AB)
Jesus Predicts His Death a Third Time(AC)
31 Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them, “We are going up to Jerusalem,(AD) and everything that is written by the prophets(AE) about the Son of Man(AF) will be fulfilled. 32 He will be delivered over to the Gentiles.(AG) They will mock him, insult him and spit on him; 33 they will flog him(AH) and kill him.(AI) On the third day(AJ) he will rise again.”(AK)
34 The disciples did not understand any of this. Its meaning was hidden from them, and they did not know what he was talking about.(AL)
A Blind Beggar Receives His Sight(AM)
35 As Jesus approached Jericho,(AN) a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. 36 When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. 37 They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”(AO)
38 He called out, “Jesus, Son of David,(AP) have mercy(AQ) on me!”
39 Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”(AR)
40 Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, 41 “What do you want me to do for you?”
“Lord, I want to see,” he replied.
42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”(AS) 43 Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.(AT)
