犯罪与原谅
17 耶稣对他的门徒们说∶“导致人们犯罪的事物注定要来临，可造成这种事情的人要遭殃了！ 2 导致孩子中的任何一个去犯罪的人，要遭殃了。对他来说，与其让他使其中的一个孩子去犯罪，倒不如让他挂着磨盘沉到海里去。 3 你们要当心！
如果你的兄弟犯罪，就斥责他；如果他悔改了，就原谅他。 4 如果他在一天里，冒犯了你七次，可是每次他都对你说∶‘我悔改，我悔改，’你们都要原谅他。”
你们的信仰有多强？
5 使徒又对主说∶“主，增强我们的信仰吧！”
6 主回答说∶“如果你们有像芥茉籽那么大的信仰，你们就能对这棵桑树说∶‘连根拔起，栽到海里去！’这棵树就会听从你们的。”
好奴仆
7 “假定你们当中某个人，有一个种田或放羊的奴仆，他从田里回来时，你会对他说∶‘赶快进来，坐下来吃饭’吗？ 8 当然不会，你是不是会对他说∶‘去给我做晚饭！戴上你的围裙，在我吃饭的时候伺候我，等我吃完了，你才可以吃喝。’呢？ 9 你会不会因为你的仆人执行了你的命令而感谢他呢？ 10 你们也是一样，当你们执行了吩咐你们去做的事情后，你们应该说∶‘我们不配受到特别的感谢，因为我们只不过是尽了我们自己的义务罢了。’”
充满感激
11 耶稣继续向耶路撒冷走去，经过了撒玛利亚和加利利的边界地带。 12 当他走进一个村庄时，十个患有大麻风病的人站在远处， 13 大声喊着∶“耶稣，主人啊，可怜可怜我们吧！”
14 耶稣看见他们便立刻说道∶“你们到祭司那里，去让他查验你们。”
当他们离开时就被治好了。 15 但是，其中一个人发现自己被治好后便返了回来，一路上高声地赞美着上帝。 16 他俯伏在耶稣的脚下向他感恩。此人是撒玛利亚人。 17 耶稣回答道∶“不是有十个人得到治疗了吗？那九个人在那里呢？ 18 难道除了这个外族人以外，他们就没有一个人回来感谢上帝的吗？” 19 然后，耶稣对他说∶“起来走吧，你的信仰治愈了你。”
上帝王国的来临
20 一次，法利赛人问耶稣，上帝的王国什么时候来临。
耶稣回答说∶“上帝王国的来临，凭视觉是看不到的。 21 人们不能说∶‘它在这儿’或者‘它在那儿！’因为上帝的王国在你们之中。”
22 但是，耶稣对他的门徒说∶“这个时刻终会来临，那时你们渴望见到人子的日子里的其中一天，（当人子在荣耀中来临），但是你们却看不到它。 23 人们将对你们说∶‘看那里！’‘看这里！’你们不要去那里，或跟随他们， 24 因为，人子再来临的日子就像一道闪电扫过天空，从天的这边一直照射到天的那一边。 25 但是，人子首先得遭受许许多多的磨难，他必定会被这一代人所遗弃。 26 人子的日子来临时，正像诺亚时代一样。 27 那时，他们吃、喝、娶、嫁，直到诺亚登上方舟那天，然后，洪水来了，把他们全都毁掉了。 28 同样，人子的日子正如罗得的时代一样：那时人们吃、喝、买、卖，耕种和建房， 29 可是，当罗得离开所多玛那一天，硝烟和烈火由天而降，把他们全都毁掉了。 30 人子来临的那天，也会如此。

17 And Jesus said to his disciples, It is impossible that causes of stumbling come not; but woe to that man, by whom they come. [And he said to his disciples, It is impossible that offences come not; but woe to him, by whom they come.]
2 It is more profitable to him, if a millstone be put about his neck, and he be cast into the sea, than that he cause to stumble one of these little [than that he offend one of these little].
3 Take ye heed to yourselves [Take heed to yourselves]; if thy brother hath sinned against thee, blame him; and if he do penance, forgive him.
4 And if seven times in the day he do sin against thee, and seven times in the day he be converted to thee, and say, It repenteth me, forgive thou him.[a]
5 And the apostles said to the Lord, Increase to us faith [Increase faith to us].
6 And the Lord said, If ye have faith as the corn of mustard seed [If ye had faith as a corn of mustard seed], ye shall say to this (syca)more tree, Be thou drawn up by the root, and be over-planted into the sea [and be thou planted over into the sea], and it shall obey to you.
7 But who of you hath a servant plowing, or pasturing oxen, which saith to him, when he turneth again from the field, At once go, and sit to meat;[b]
8 and saith not to him, Make ready, that I sup, and gird thee, and serve me, while I eat and drink, and after this thou shalt eat and drink; [and not saith to him, Make ready, that I sup, and gird thee before, and minister to me, till that I eat and drink, and after these things thou shalt eat and drink;]
9 whether he hath grace to that servant, for he did that that he commanded him? Nay, I guess.
10 So [also] ye, when ye have done all things that be commanded to you, say ye [say], We be unprofitable servants, we have done that that we ought to do.
11 And it was done, the while Jesus went to Jerusalem, he passed through the midst of Samaria, and Galilee.
12 And when he entered into a castle [And when he entered into some castle], ten leprous men came to meet him, which stood afar,
13 and raised their voice [and lifted up their voice], and said, Jesus, Commander, have mercy on us.
14 And as he saw them, he said [Whom, when he saw, he said], Go, show ye you to the priests. And it was done, while they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, as he saw that he was cleansed, went again, magnifying God with a great voice.
16 And he fell down on the face before his feet, and did thankings [doing graces, or thankings]; and this was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answered, and said [Forsooth Jesus answering said], Whether ten be not cleansed, and where be the nine?
18 There is none found, that turned again, and gave glory to God, but this alien [but this alien, or stranger].
19 And he said to him, Rise up, go thou; for thy faith hath made thee safe.
20 And he was asked of the Pharisees, when the realm of God cometh. And he answered to them, and said, The realm of God cometh not with espying,
21 neither they shall say, Lo! here, or lo[!] there; for lo! the realm of God is within you.
22 And he said to his disciples, Days shall come, when ye shall desire to see one day of man's Son, and ye shall not see.
23 And they shall say to you, Lo! here, and lo! there. Do not ye go, neither follow;
24 for as lightning shining from under heaven shineth into those things [shineth on those things] that be under heaven, so shall man's Son be in his day.
25 But first it behooveth him to suffer many things, and to be reproved of this generation.
26 And as it was done in the days of Noe, so it shall be in the days of man's Son.
27 They ate and drank, wedded wives, and were given to weddings, till into the day in which Noe entered into the ship; and the great flood came, and destroyed all [and lost all].
28 Also as it was done in the days of Lot, they ate and drank, bought and sold, planted and builded;
29 but in the day that Lot went out of Sodom, the Lord rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed all [and lost all].
30 Like this thing it shall be [After this thing it shall be], in what day man's Son shall be showed.
31 In that hour he that is in the roof [In that day he that shall be in the roof], and his vessels in the house, come he not down to take them away; and he that shall be in the field [and he that is in the field], also turn not again behind.
32 Be ye mindful of the wife of Lot.
33 Whoever seeketh to make his life safe, shall lose it; and whoever loseth it, shall quicken it. [Whoever shall seek to make his life safe, shall lose it; and whoever shall lose it, shall quicken it.]
34 But I say to you [I say to you], in that night two shall be in one bed, one shall be taken, and the other [shall be] forsaken;
35 two women shall be grinding together, the one shall be taken, and the other forsaken [and the tother shall be forsaken];
36 two in a field, the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 They answer, and say to him, Where, Lord? Which said to them, Where ever the body shall be, thither shall be gathered together also the eagles. [They answering said to him, Where Lord? Which said to them, Where ever the body shall be, also the eagles shall be gathered together thither.]

19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

Jesus Warns of Offenses(A)
17 Then He said to the disciples, (B)“It is impossible that no [a]offenses should come, but (C)woe to him through whom they do come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should [b]offend one of these little ones. 3 Take heed to yourselves. (D)If your brother sins [c]against you, (E)rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4 And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns [d]to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
Faith and Duty(F)
5 And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
6 (G)So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. 7 And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? 8 But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself (H)and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’? 9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded [e]him? Ten Lepers Cleansed
11 Now it happened (J)as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, (K)who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 So when He saw them, He said to them, (L)“Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice (M)glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a (N)Samaritan.
17 So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19 (O)And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”
The Coming of the Kingdom(P)
20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 (Q)nor will they say, [f]‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, (R)the kingdom of God is [g]within you.”
