17 耶稣又对门徒说：“使人犯罪的事是免不了的，但那使人犯罪的人有祸了！ 2 就算拿一块大磨石拴在他的颈项上，把他沉在深海里，比他使这小子中的一个犯罪还好。 3 你们应当谨慎。如果你弟兄得罪你，就劝戒他；他若懊悔，就饶恕他。 4 如果他一天七次得罪你，又七次回转，对你说：‘我懊悔了！’你总要饶恕他。”
5 使徒对主说：“请你加添我们的信心。” 6 主说：“如果你们有信心像一粒芥菜种，就是对这棵桑树说：‘拔起根来，栽到海里去！’它也必听从你们。
7 “你们中间谁有仆人去耕地或是放羊，从田里回来，你就对他说：‘快过来坐下吃饭’； 8 而不对他说：‘给我预备晚餐，束起腰来服事我，等我吃喝完了，你才吃喝’呢？ 9 仆人作了所吩咐的事，主人还谢谢他吗？ 10 你们也是这样，作完一切吩咐你们的事，应该说：‘我们是无用的仆人，我们只作了应分作的。’”
治好十个痲风病人
11 耶稣往耶路撒冷去，经过撒玛利亚和加利利的边境。 12 他走进一个村庄，有十个痲风病人迎面而来，远远地站着， 13 大声说：“主耶稣啊，可怜我们吧！” 14 他看见了，就对他们说：“你们去给祭司检查吧。”他们去的时候就洁净了。 15 内中有一个人见自己已经好了，就回来大声颂赞 神， 16 在耶稣脚前把脸伏在地上感谢他。他是一个撒玛利亚人。 17 耶稣说：“洁净了的不是有十个人吗？那九个在哪里？ 18 除了这外族人，再没有一个回来颂赞 神吗？” 19 耶稣就对他说：“起来，走吧，你的信使你痊愈了。”
神的国降临的情形(B)
20 法利赛人问耶稣：“ 神的国甚么时候来到呢？”他回答：“ 神的国来到，是眼睛看不见的。 21 人不能说：‘看哪！在这里’，或说：‘在那里’；因为 神的国就在你们里面。” 22 他又对门徒说：“日子将到，你们渴望看见人子的一个日子，却见不到。 23 有人会对你们说：‘看哪，在那里；看哪，在这里！’你们不要出去，也不要追随他们。 24 电光怎样从天这边一闪，直照到天那边，人子在他的日子也是这样。 25 但他必须先受许多苦，被这个世代弃绝。 26 挪亚的时代怎样，人子的时代也是怎样。 27 当时人们吃喝嫁娶，直到挪亚进入方舟的那一天，洪水来了，把他们全都灭掉。 28 在罗得的时代也是这样，人们吃喝买卖，耕种建造， 29 直到罗得离开所多玛的那一天，火与硫磺从天上降下来，把他们全都灭掉。 30 人子显现的日子也是这样。 31 当那日，人在房顶上，器具在屋里，不要下来拿；在田里的，照样不要回家。 32 应当记着罗得的妻子的教训。 33 凡是想保全生命的，必丧掉生命；凡是牺牲生命的，却必保全生命。 34 我告诉你们，当那夜，两个人在一张床上，一个被接去，一个被撇下。 35 两个女人一起推磨，一个被接去，一个被撇下。”（有些抄本有第36节：“两个人在田里，一个被接去，一个撇下来。”） 37 门徒问耶稣：“主啊，这些事会在哪里发生呢？”主说：“尸首在哪里，鹰也会聚集在哪里。”

17 耶穌教導門徒說：「引人犯罪的事是免不了的，但引人犯罪的人有禍了。 2 誰使一個卑微的弟兄失足犯罪，他的下場比把大磨石拴在他脖子上扔到海裡還要慘。 3 你們要小心謹慎！你的弟兄若犯了罪，要責備他。他若悔改，要饒恕他。 4 就算他一天得罪你七次，每次都對你說，『我悔改』，你都要饒恕他。」
5 使徒對主說：「請你加添我們的信心。」
6 主說：「如果你們的信心像一粒芥菜種那麼大，便可對這棵桑樹說，『連根拔起，栽在大海裡！』它必服從你們。
7 「你們誰會對種田或放羊回來的奴僕說，『請趕快坐下來吃飯』？ 8 不都是吩咐他『給我準備晚飯，束上腰帶伺候我用餐，等我吃完，你才可以吃』嗎？ 9 奴僕照著吩咐去做，主人會謝他嗎？ 10 同樣，你們照著吩咐把事情辦妥後，也該這樣說，『我們是無用的奴僕，所做的不過是分內的事。』」
十個痲瘋病人
11 耶穌繼續前往耶路撒冷，途經撒瑪利亞和加利利的交界處。 12 祂進入一個村莊時，十個痲瘋病人迎面而來。他們遠遠地站著， 13 高聲呼喊道：「耶穌，老師啊，求你可憐我們吧！」
14 耶穌看見他們，就說：「去讓祭司察看你們的身體。」
他們去的時候，就潔淨了。 15 其中一個發現自己痊癒了，就跑回來，高聲讚美上帝， 16 又俯伏在耶穌的腳前連連稱謝。這人是撒瑪利亞人。
17 耶穌說：「被醫好的不是有十個人嗎？其他九個呢？ 18 回來讚美稱頌上帝的只有這個外族人嗎？」 19 於是祂對那人說：「起來回去吧！你的信心救了你。」
上帝國的降臨
20 法利賽人問耶穌：「上帝的國什麼時候降臨？」
耶穌回答說：「上帝國的降臨並沒有看得見的徵兆。 21 所以沒有人能說，『上帝的國在這裡』，或說，『在那裡』，因為上帝的國就在你們心裡[a]。」
22 祂又對門徒說：「時候將到，你們將渴望見到人子降臨的日子，可是你們卻見不到。 23 有人將對你們說，『看啊，祂在這裡！』或說，『看啊，祂在那裡！』你們不要出去，也不要追隨他們。 24 因為人子降臨的時候必如劃過長空的閃電，從天這邊一直照亮到天那邊。 25 但祂必須先受苦，被這個世代棄絕。
26 「人子降臨時的情形將像挪亞的時代， 27 人們吃喝嫁娶，一直到挪亞進入方舟那天，洪水來了，毀滅了他們； 28 又像羅得的時代，人們吃喝、做買賣、耕地、蓋房。 29 在羅得離開所多瑪那天，烈火和硫磺從天而降，把他們全毀滅了。
30 「人子顯現之日的情形也是如此。 31 那天，在自己屋頂上的，不要下來收拾行李；在田裡工作的，也不要回家。 32 你們要記住羅得妻子的事。 33 想保全生命的，必喪失生命；喪失生命的，必保全生命。 34 我告訴你們，那天晚上，兩個人睡在一張床上，一個將被接去，一個將被撇下； 35 兩個女人一起推磨，一個將被接去，一個將被撇下； 36 兩個人在田間，一個將被接去，一個將被撇下。[b]」

Sin, Faith and Duty
17 Jesus spoke to his disciples. “Things that make people sin are sure to come,” he said. “But how terrible it will be for anyone who causes those things to come! 2 Suppose people lead one of these little ones to sin. It would be better for those people to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck. 3 So watch what you do.
“If your brother or sister sins against you, tell them they are wrong. Then if they turn away from their sins, forgive them. 4 Suppose they sin against you seven times in one day. And suppose they come back to you each time and say, ‘I’m sorry.’ You must forgive them.”
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Give us more faith!”
6 He replied, “Suppose you have faith as small as a mustard seed. Then you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up. Be planted in the sea.’ And it will obey you.
7 “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. And suppose the servant came in from the field. Will you say to him, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8 No. Instead, you will say, ‘Prepare my supper. Get yourself ready. Wait on me while I eat and drink. Then after that you can eat and drink.’ 9 Will you thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 It’s the same with you. Suppose you have done everything you were told to do. Then you should say, ‘We are not worthy to serve you. We have only done our duty.’ ”
Jesus Heals Ten Men Who Have a Skin Disease
11 Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. He traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. 12 As he was going into a village, ten men met him. They had a skin disease. They were standing close by. 13 And they called out in a loud voice, “Jesus! Master! Have pity on us!”
14 Jesus saw them and said, “Go. Show yourselves to the priests.” While they were on the way, they were healed.
15 When one of them saw that he was healed, he came back. He praised God in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him. The man was a Samaritan.
17 Jesus asked, “Weren’t all ten healed? Where are the other nine? 18 Didn’t anyone else return and give praise to God except this outsider?” 19 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up and go. Your faith has healed you.”
The Coming of God’s Kingdom
20 Once the Pharisees asked Jesus when God’s kingdom would come. He replied, “The coming of God’s kingdom is not something you can see. 21 People will not say, ‘Here it is.’ Or, ‘There it is.’ That’s because God’s kingdom is among you.”
22 Then Jesus spoke to his disciples. “The time is coming,” he said, “when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man. But you won’t see it. 23 People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ Or, ‘Here he is!’ Don’t go running off after them. 24 When the Son of Man comes, he will be like the lightning. It flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other. 25 But first the Son of Man must suffer many things. He will not be accepted by the people of today.
26 “Remember how it was in the days of Noah. It will be the same when the Son of Man comes. 27 People were eating and drinking. They were getting married. They were giving their daughters to be married. They did all those things right up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking. They were buying and selling. They were planting and building. 29 But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven. And all the people were destroyed.
30 “It will be just like that on the day the Son of Man is shown to the world. 31 Suppose someone is on the housetop on that day. And suppose what they own is inside the house. They should not go down to get what they own. No one in the field should go back for anything either. 32 Remember Lot’s wife! 33 Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it. Whoever loses their life will keep it. 34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed. One person will be taken and the other left. 35-36 Two women will be grinding grain together. One will be taken and the other left.”
37 “Where, Lord?” his disciples asked.
He replied, “The vultures will gather where there is a dead body.”
