不义的管家
16 耶稣又对门徒说：“有一个财主的管家，有人在他主人面前告他浪费主人的财物。 2 主人把他叫来，对他说：‘我听见关于你的是怎么一回事呢？把你管理的帐目交代清楚，因为你不能再作管家了。’ 3 那管家心里说：‘主人不要我再作管家了，我作甚么才好呢？锄地吧，没有力气！讨饭吧，怕羞！ 4 我知道要怎么作了，好使人在我离开管家的职务以后，接我到他们家里去。’ 5 于是把欠他主人债的人，一个一个地叫来，问头一个说：‘你欠我主人多少？’ 6 他说：‘四千公升油。’管家说：‘拿你的欠单去，快坐下写二千。’ 7 又问一个说：‘你欠多少？’他说：‘四万公升麦子。’管家说：‘拿你的欠单去，写三万。’ 8 主人就夸奖这不义的管家作事机警；因为在应付自己的世事上，今世之子比光明之子更精明。 9 我告诉你们，要用不义的钱财（“钱财”亚兰文是“玛门”）去结交朋友，好叫钱财无用的时候，他们可以接你们到永恒的帐棚里。 10 在最小的事上忠心的，在大事上也忠心；在最小的事上不义的，在大事上也不义。 11 如果你们在不义的钱财上不忠心，谁还把真实的钱财托付给你们呢？ 12 如果你们在别人的东西上不忠心，谁还把你们自己的东西交给你们呢？
不能服事两个主人(A)
13 “一个家仆不能服事两个主人；他若不是恨这个爱那个，就是忠于这个轻视那个。你们不能服事 神，又服事金钱。” 14 贪财的法利赛人听见这些话，就嗤笑耶稣。 15 耶稣对他们说：“你们在人面前自称为义， 神却知道你们的心；因为人所高举的， 神却看作是可憎恶的。 16 律法和先知到约翰就结束了。从此， 神的国的福音就传开了，人人都要努力进去。 17 天地过去，要比律法的一点一画失效还容易呢。 18 凡休妻另娶的，就犯了奸淫；娶被丈夫所休的，也是犯了奸淫。
财主与拉撒路
19 “有一个财主，身穿紫色袍和细麻衣，天天奢华宴乐。 20 又有一个乞丐，名叫拉撒路，满身是疮，被人放在财主门口， 21 想得财主桌子上掉下来的零碎充饥；并且有狗来舔他的疮。 22 后来乞丐死了，被天使送到亚伯拉罕的怀里。那财主也死了，并且埋葬了。 23 财主在阴间受痛苦，举目远远望见亚伯拉罕，和他怀里的拉撒路， 24 就喊着说：‘我祖亚伯拉罕啊，可怜我吧！打发拉撒路来用指头蘸点水，凉凉我的舌头吧！因为我在这火焰里非常痛苦。’ 25 亚伯拉罕说：‘孩子，你应该回想你生前享过福，同样拉撒路受过苦，现在他在这里得安慰，你却要受苦了。 26 不但这样，我们与你们之间，有深渊隔开，人想从这边过到你们那里是不可能的，从那边过到我们这边也是不可能的。’ 27 那人说：‘我祖啊，那么求你差遣拉撒路到我家里去， 28 因为我有五个兄弟，他可以警告他们，免得他们也到这受苦的地方来。’ 29 亚伯拉罕说：‘他们有摩西和先知可以听从。’ 30 他说：‘不然，我祖亚伯拉罕啊，如果有人从死人中复活，到他们那里去，他们必定会悔改。’ 31 亚伯拉罕说：‘如果他们不听从摩西和先知，就算有一个从死人中复活的人，他们也不会接受劝告。’”
Luke 16
King James Version
16 And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
2 And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
3 Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
4 I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
5 So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?
6 And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
7 Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.
8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
9 And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?
13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

El mayordomo infiel
16 Decía también Jesús a los discípulos: «Había cierto hombre rico que tenía un mayordomo; y este fue acusado ante él de derrochar sus bienes(A). 2 Entonces lo llamó y le dijo: “¿Qué es esto que oigo acerca de ti? Rinde cuentas de tu administración, porque no puedes ser más mayordomo”. 3 Y el mayordomo se dijo a sí mismo: “¿Qué haré? Pues mi señor me quita la administración. No tengo fuerzas para cavar, y me da vergüenza mendigar. 4 Ya sé[a]lo que haré, para que cuando se me destituya de la administración algunos me reciban en sus casas”.
5 »Llamando a cada uno de los deudores de su señor, dijo al primero: “¿Cuánto le debes a mi señor?”. 6 Y él dijo: “Cien barriles (3,700 litros) de aceite”. Él mayordomo le dijo: “Toma tu factura, siéntate pronto y escribe cincuenta”. 7 Después dijo a otro: “Y tú, ¿cuánto debes?”. Y él respondió: “Cien medidas (unos 37,000 litros) de trigo”. Él mayordomo le dijo*: “Toma tu factura y escribe ochenta”.
8 »El señor elogió al mayordomo injusto porque había procedido con sagacidad, pues los hijos de este siglo(B) son más sagaces en las relaciones con sus semejantes[b] que los hijos de la luz(C) . 9 Pero Yo les digo: háganse amigos por medio de las riquezas[c](D)injustas(E), para que cuando les falten, los reciban en las moradas eternas(F).
10 »El que es fiel en lo muy poco, es fiel también en lo mucho(G) ; y el que es injusto en lo muy poco, también es injusto en lo mucho. 11 Por tanto, si no han sido fieles en el uso de las riquezas[d]injustas(H), ¿quién les confiará las riquezas verdaderas? 12 Y si no han sido fieles en el uso de lo ajeno, ¿quién les dará lo que es de ustedes[e]? 13 Ningún siervo[f]puede servir a dos señores, porque o aborrecerá a uno y amará al otro, o se apegará a uno y despreciará al otro. No pueden servir a Dios y a las riquezas[g](I)».
Los fariseos y la ley
14 Los fariseos, que eran amantes del dinero(J), oían todas estas cosas y se burlaban de Él(K). 15 Y Jesús les dijo: «Ustedes son los que se justifican a sí mismos(L)ante los hombres, pero Dios conoce sus corazones(M), porque lo que entre los hombres es de alta estima, abominable es delante de Dios.
16 »La ley y los profetas se proclamaron hasta Juan(N) ; desde entonces se anuncian las buenas nuevas del reino de Dios(O) , y todos se esfuerzan por entrar en él. 17 Pero es más fácil que el cielo y la tierra pasen, que un ápice[h]de la ley deje de cumplirse[i](P).
18 »Todo el que se divorcia de[j] su mujer y se casa con otra, comete adulterio; y el que se casa con la que está divorciada del[k] marido, comete adulterio(Q) .
El rico y Lázaro
19 »Había cierto hombre rico que se vestía de púrpura y lino fino, celebrando cada día fiestas con esplendidez. 20 Y un pobre llamado Lázaro que se tiraba en el suelo a su puerta(R)cubierto de llagas, 21 ansiaba saciarse de las migajas que caían de la mesa del rico; además, hasta los perros venían y le lamían las llagas.
22 »Sucedió que murió el pobre y fue llevado por los ángeles al seno(S) de Abraham; y murió también el rico y fue sepultado. 23 En el Hades[l](T)el rico alzó[m]sus ojos, estando en tormentos, y vio* a Abraham a lo lejos, y a Lázaro en su seno. 24 Y gritando, dijo: “Padre Abraham(U), ten misericordia de mí, y envía a Lázaro para que moje la punta de su dedo en agua y refresque mi lengua, pues estoy en agonía en esta llama(V)”.
25 »Pero Abraham le dijo: “Hijo, recuerda que durante tu vida recibiste tus bienes(W) , y Lázaro, igualmente, males; pero ahora él es consolado aquí, y tú estás en agonía. 26 Además de[n]todo esto, hay un gran abismo puesto entre nosotros y ustedes, de modo que los que quieran pasar de aquí a ustedes no pueden, y tampoco nadie puede[o]cruzar de allá a nosotros”.
27 »Entonces él dijo: “Te ruego, pues, padre, que lo envíes a la casa de mi padre, 28 pues tengo cinco hermanos, de modo que él los prevenga[p](X), para que ellos no vengan también a este lugar de tormento”. 29 Pero Abraham dijo*: “Ellos tienen a Moisés y a los profetas(Y); que los oigan a ellos”. 30 Y el rico contestó: “No, padre Abraham(Z), sino que si alguien va a ellos de entre los muertos, se arrepentirán”. 31 Pero Abraham le contestó: “Si no escuchan a Moisés y a los profetas, tampoco se persuadirán si alguien se levanta de entre los muertos”».
