若不悔改都要灭亡
13 就在那时候，有几个在那里的人，把加利利人的事告诉耶稣，就是彼拉多把他们的血和他们的祭物搀在一起的事。 2 他回答：“你们以为这些加利利人比其他的加利利人更有罪，才这样受害吗？ 3 不是的，我告诉你们，你们若不悔改，都要这样灭亡。 4 你们以为从前西罗亚楼倒塌的时候，压死的那十八个人，比一切在耶路撒冷的居民更有罪吗？ 5 不是的，我告诉你们，你们若不悔改，也都要这样灭亡。”
不结果的无花果树
6 耶稣讲了这样一个比喻：“有一个人把一棵无花果树栽在自己的葡萄园里。他来到树那里找果子，却找不到。 7 他对管园的说：‘你看，这三年，我来到这棵无花果树那里找果子，却找不到，把它砍了吧！何必白占地土呢？’ 8 管园的说：‘主人，今年且留着它，等我把周围的泥土挖松，加上肥料； 9 以后结果子就罢，不然，再把它砍了。’”
在安息日治好病人
10 安息日的时候，耶稣在会堂里教导人。 11 有一个女人被邪灵附着，病了十八年，弯腰曲背，完全直不起来。 12 耶稣看见了，就叫她过来，对她说：“妇人，你脱离这疾病了。” 13 耶稣用双手按在她身上，她立刻直起腰来，颂赞 神。 14 会堂的主管，因为耶稣在安息日治病，就气忿忿地对群众说：“有六天是应当作工的，你们可以在这六天里来求医，但在安息日却不可以。” 15 主说：“伪君子啊，你们哪一个人在安息日，不从槽那里解开牛、驴，牵去喝水呢？ 16 何况这个女人是亚伯拉罕的后裔，已经被撒但捆绑了十八年，不应当在安息日解开她的捆绑吗？” 17 他说完了这些话，那些与他为敌的人都惭愧；群众却都因他所行一切荣耀的事欢喜。

18 耶稣说：“ 神的国好象甚么呢？我要把它比作甚么呢？ 19 它好象一粒芥菜种，人拿去种在自己的园子里。它长大了，成为一棵树，甚至天空的飞鸟也在它的枝头搭窝。” 20 他又说：“我要把 神的国比作甚么呢？ 21 它好象面酵，女人拿去放在三斗面里，直到全团发起来。”

22 耶稣经过各城各乡，往耶路撒冷去，沿途教导人。 23 有一个人问他：“主啊，是不是只有很少的人得救呢？”他对众人说： 24 “你们应当竭力进窄门！我告诉你们，将来许多人要进去，却是不能。 25 等到家主起来关上门，你们站在门外叩门说：‘主啊，给我们开门！’他要回答你们：‘我不知道你们是从哪里来的。’ 26 那时，你们要说：‘我们在你面前吃过喝过，你也在我们街上教导过人。’ 27 他要说：‘我告诉你们，我不晓得你们是从哪里来的；你们所有作恶的人，离开我去吧！’ 28 当你们看见亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各和众先知都在 神的国里的时候，你们却被赶到外面去，在那里必要哀哭切齿。 29 从东从南，从西从北，将有人来，在 神的国里吃饭。 30 在后的将要在前，在前的将要在后。”
为耶路撒冷叹息(C)
31 就在那时候，有几个法利赛人来对耶稣说：“你离开这里走吧！因为希律想要杀你。” 32 他说：“你们去告诉那个狐狸，今天明天我赶鬼医病，第三天我的事就完成了。 33 然而，今天明天后天，我必须前行，因为先知不能在耶路撒冷以外丧命。 34 耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷，你杀害先知，又用石头把奉派到你那里的人打死。我多次想招聚你的儿女，好象母鸡招聚小鸡到翅膀底下，只是你们不愿意。 35 你看，你们的家必成为荒场留给你们。我告诉你们，从今以后，你们一定见不到我，直等到你们说：‘奉主名来的，是应当称颂的。’”

不悔改的下場
13 這時，有人把加利利人獻祭時被彼拉多屠殺的事告訴了耶穌。
2 耶穌說：「你們以為這些人被殺，是因為他們的罪比其他加利利人的罪更重嗎？ 3 不！我告訴你們，你們若不悔改，同樣也必滅亡。 4 西羅亞樓倒塌時曾壓死了十八個人。你們以為他們比耶路撒冷其他人更有罪嗎？ 5 不！我告訴你們，你們若不悔改，同樣也必滅亡。」
6 於是，耶穌說了一個比喻：「有人在葡萄園裡種了一棵無花果樹，他去樹那裡找果子，卻找不到。 7 他對園丁說，『三年來，我一直盼望它結果子，它卻一個也沒結。把它砍了，免得白佔土地。』
8 「園丁請求說，『主人，再留它一年吧！讓我在它四周鬆土、施肥， 9 明年如果結了果子就留它，否則再砍掉它。』」
治好駝背婦人
10 有個安息日，耶穌在會堂裡講道。 11 那裡有個婦人被邪靈纏身十八年，腰彎得很厲害，無法站直。 12 耶穌看見她，便叫她過來，說：「婦人，你再不會被疾病纏身了！」 13 耶穌雙手按在她身上，她的腰立刻直了，便頌讚上帝。
14 會堂主管看到耶穌在安息日為人治病，十分惱怒，就對眾人說：「一週有六天可以工作，求醫應當在這六天之內，不可在安息日！」
15 主說：「你們這些偽君子，莫非你們在安息日不解開棚裡的牛和驢，帶牠們去喝水嗎？ 16 這婦人身為亞伯拉罕的女兒，受撒旦的捆綁十八年，難道不該在安息日為她解開捆索嗎？」 17 反對祂的人聽了這番話後，都非常羞愧，眾人卻為耶穌的奇妙作為高興歡喜。
上帝國的比喻
18 耶穌繼續說：「上帝的國好像什麼呢？我該把上帝的國比作什麼呢？ 19 上帝的國就像一粒芥菜種，有人把它種在園裡，它長成了一棵樹，連飛鳥也來棲息在它的樹枝上。」
20 耶穌又說：「我該把上帝的國比作什麼呢？ 21 上帝的國就像麵酵，婦人拿來摻在三斗麵裡，使整團麵都發起來。」
努力進窄門

13 Now there were some present at that very season who told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And he answered and said unto them, Think ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they have suffered these things? 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all in like manner perish. 4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them, think ye that they were [a]offenders above all the men that dwell in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
6 And he spake this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came seeking fruit thereon, and found none. 7 And he said unto the vinedresser, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why doth it also cumber the ground? 8 And he answering saith unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 9 and if it bear fruit thenceforth, well; but if not, thou shalt cut it down.
10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath day. 11 And behold, a woman that had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years; and she was bowed together, and could in no wise lift herself up. 12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her, and said to her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 13 And he laid his hands upon her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. 14 And the ruler of the synagogue, being moved with indignation because Jesus had healed on the sabbath, answered and said to the multitude, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the day of the sabbath. 15 But the Lord answered him, and said, Ye hypocrites, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the [b]stall, and lead him away to watering? 16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound, lo, these eighteen years, to have been loosed from this bond on the day of the sabbath? 17 And as he said these things, all his adversaries were put to shame: and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
18 He said therefore, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I liken it? 19 It is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his own garden; and it grew, and became a tree; and the birds of the heaven lodged in the branches thereof.
20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? 21 It is like unto leaven, which a woman took and hid in three [c]measures of meal, till it was all leavened.
22 And he went on his way through cities and villages, teaching, and journeying on unto Jerusalem. 23 And one said unto him, Lord, are they few that are saved? And he said unto them, 24 Strive to enter in by the narrow door: for many, I say unto you, shall seek to enter in, and shall not be [d]able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not whence ye are; 26 then shall ye begin to say, We did eat and drink in thy presence, and thou didst teach in our streets; 27 and he shall say, I tell you, I know not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and yourselves cast forth without. 29 And they shall come from the east and west, and from the north and south, and shall [e]sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And behold, there are last who shall be first, and there are first who shall be last.
31 In that very hour there came certain Pharisees, saying to him, Get thee out, and go hence: for Herod would fain kill thee. 32 And he said unto them, Go and say to that fox, Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures to-day and to-morrow, and the third day I [f]am perfected. 33 Nevertheless I must go on my way to-day and to-morrow and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. 34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killeth the prophets, and stoneth them that are sent unto her! how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her own brood under her wings, and ye would not! 35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree
6 And He was telling this parable: “A man had (E)a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came seeking fruit on it and did not find any. 7 And he said to the vineyard-keeper, ‘Behold, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree [d]without finding any. (F)Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?’ 8 And he answered and said to him, ‘Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in manure, 9 and if it bears fruit next year, fine, but if not, cut it down.’”
A Woman Healed on the Sabbath
10 And He was (G)teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 And behold, there was a woman who for eighteen years had [e](H)a sickness caused by a spirit, and she was bent double, and could not straighten up at all. 12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her over and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your sickness.” 13 And He (I)laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made erect again and began (J)glorifying God. 14 But (K)the synagogue official, indignant because Jesus (L)healed on the Sabbath, answered and was saying to the crowd, “(M)There are six days in which work should be done; so come during them and get healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” 15 But (N)the Lord answered him and said, “You hypocrites, (O)does not each of you on the Sabbath release his ox or his donkey from the stall and lead it away to water it? 16 And this woman, (P)being a daughter of Abraham, whom (Q)Satan has bound for—behold—eighteen years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?” 17 And as He said this, all His opponents were being put to shame; and (R)the entire crowd was rejoicing over all the glorious things being done by Him.
The Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Leaven
18 Therefore, (S)He was saying, “(T)What is the kingdom of God like, and to what shall I compare it? 19 It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and threw into his own garden, and it grew and became a tree, and (U)the birds of the [f]air nested in its branches.”
20 And again He said, “(V)To what shall I compare the kingdom of God? 21 (W)It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in [g](X)three sata of flour until it was all leavened.”
The Narrow Door
22 And He was passing through from one city and village to another, teaching, and (Y)proceeding on His way to Jerusalem. 23 And someone said to Him, “Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?” And He said to them, 24 “(Z)Strive to enter through the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 Once the head of the house gets up and (AA)shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘(AB)Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘(AC)I do not know where you are from.’ 26 Then you will (AD)begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ 27 And He will say, ‘I tell you, (AE)I do not know where you are from; (AF)depart from Me, all you workers of unrighteousness.’ 28 (AG)In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being cast out. 29 And they (AH)will come from east and west and from north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God. 30 And behold, (AI)some are last who will be first and some are first who will be last.”
Lament over Jerusalem
31 Just at that time some Pharisees approached, saying to Him, “Leave and go from here, for (AJ)Herod wants to kill You.” 32 And He said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and on the third day I [h](AK)finish.’ 33 Nevertheless (AL)I must journey on today and tomorrow and the next day, for it is not possible that a (AM)prophet would perish outside of Jerusalem. 34 (AN)O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, (AO)just as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you did not want it! 35 Behold, your house is left to you desolate, and I say to you, you will not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘(AP)Blessed is He who comes in the name of the [i]Lord!’”

Repent or Perish
13 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate(A) had mixed with their sacrifices. 2 Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way?(B) 3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam(C) fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent,(D) you too will all perish.”
6 Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any.(E) 7 So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down!(F) Why should it use up the soil?’
8 “‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. 9 If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’”
Jesus Heals a Crippled Woman on the Sabbath
10 On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues,(G) 11 and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years.(H) She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. 12 When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” 13 Then he put his hands on her,(I) and immediately she straightened up and praised God.
14 Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath,(J) the synagogue leader(K) said to the people, “There are six days for work.(L) So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath.”
15 The Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each of you on the Sabbath untie your ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water?(M) 16 Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham,(N) whom Satan(O) has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?”
17 When he said this, all his opponents were humiliated,(P) but the people were delighted with all the wonderful things he was doing.
The Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Yeast(Q)(R)
18 Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God(S) like?(T) What shall I compare it to? 19 It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree,(U) and the birds perched in its branches.”(V)
20 Again he asked, “What shall I compare the kingdom of God to? 21 It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds[a] of flour until it worked all through the dough.”(W)
The Narrow Door
22 Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem.(X) 23 Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?”
He said to them, 24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door,(Y) because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’
“But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’(Z)
26 “Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’
27 “But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’(AA)
28 “There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth,(AB) when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. 29 People will come from east and west(AC) and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. 30 Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last.”(AD)
Jesus’ Sorrow for Jerusalem(AE)(AF)
31 At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, “Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod(AG) wants to kill you.”
32 He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’(AH) 33 In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet(AI) can die outside Jerusalem!
34 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings,(AJ) and you were not willing. 35 Look, your house is left to you desolate.(AK) I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’[b]”(AL)
