The Seventy Sent Out
10 After these things the Lord appointed [a]seventy others also, and (A)sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. 2 Then He said to them, (B)“The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore (C)pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. 3 Go your way; (D)behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves. 4 (E)Carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals; and (F)greet no one along the road. 5 (G)But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ 6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you. 7 (H)And remain in the same house, (I)eating and drinking such things as they give, for (J)the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house. 8 Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. 9 (K)And heal the sick there, and say to them, (L)‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ 10 But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, 11 (M)‘The very dust of your city which clings to [b]us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.’ 12 [c]But I say to you that (N)it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that city.
Woe to the Impenitent Cities(O)
13 (P)“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! (Q)For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14 But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. 15 (R)And you, Capernaum, [d]who are (S)exalted to heaven, (T)will be brought down to Hades. 16 (U)He who hears you hears Me, (V)he who rejects you rejects Me, and (W)he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.”
The Seventy Return with Joy
17 Then (X)the [e]seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
18 And He said to them, (Y)“I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, (Z)I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but [f]rather rejoice because (AA)your names are written in heaven.”
Jesus Rejoices in the Spirit(AB)
21 (AC)In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. 22 (AD)All[g] things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and (AE)no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”
23 Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, (AF)“Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see; 24 for I tell you (AG)that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it.”
The Parable of the Good Samaritan(AH)
25 And behold, a certain [h]lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, (AI)“Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?”
27 So he answered and said, (AJ)“ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and (AK)‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and (AL)you will live.”
29 But he, wanting to (AM)justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
30 Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among [i]thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, (AN)he passed by on the other side. 32 Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. 33 But a certain (AO)Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had (AP)compassion. 34 So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 On the next day, [j]when he departed, he took out two (AQ)denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ 36 So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?”
37 And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.”
Then Jesus said to him, (AR)“Go and do likewise.”
Mary and Martha Worship and Serve
38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named (AS)Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, (AT)who also (AU)sat at [k]Jesus’ feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
41 And [l]Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But (AV)one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

不悔改的城
13 “哥拉汛哪，你有祸了！伯赛达呀，你有祸了！因为在你们当中行过的神迹，如果行在提尔和西顿，那里的人早就会披麻蒙灰，坐在地上悔改了。 14 不过在审判的时候，提尔和西顿所受的，将要比你们还容易受呢！ 15 而你——迦百农啊，你将被高举到天上吗？不，你将下到阴间。
16 “听从你们的，就是听从我；拒绝你们的，就是拒绝我；拒绝我的，就是拒绝差派我来的那一位。”
七十人归来
17 那七十[h]个人怀着喜乐的心回来，说：“主啊，奉你的名，连鬼魔也服从了我们。”
18 耶稣对他们说：“我看见撒旦像闪电一样从天上坠落。 19 看，我已经给了你们权柄去践踏蛇和蝎子，又胜过仇敌一切的势力，绝不会有什么能伤害你们了。 20 但不要因为邪灵服从了你们就欢喜，要因为你们的名字已经被记录在天上而欢喜。”
父的美意
21 那时候，耶稣[i]受了圣灵的感动就快乐，说：“父啊，天地的主，我赞美[j]你，因为你把这些事向有智慧的和有学问的人隐藏起来，而向小孩子们显明出来。是的，父啊！因为这正是你的美意。” 22 “我父把一切都交给了我。除了父，没有人知道子是谁；除了子和子所愿意启示的人，也没有人知道父是谁。”
23 耶稣转过身来，悄悄地对门徒们说：“看见你们所看见的，那眼睛是蒙福的！ 24 我告诉你们：曾经有许多先知和君王想要看你们所看见的，却没有看到；想要听你们所听见的，却没有听到。”
好撒马利亚人
25 这时候，忽然有一个律法师站起来试探耶稣，说：“老师，我该做什么才会继承永恒的生命呢？”
26 耶稣对他说：“律法上是怎么写的？你是怎么读的呢？”
27 他回答说：
“你要以全心、全灵、全力、全意爱主——你的神，并且要爱邻如己。”[k]
28 耶稣说：“你回答得对。你这样去做，就将活着。”
29 那个人却要显示自己为义，就对耶稣说：“那么，谁是我的邻人呢？”
30 耶稣回答说：“有一个人从耶路撒冷下到耶利哥去，途中[l]遇到强盗。他们剥去他的衣服，把他打得半死，丢下他走了。 31 恰好有一个祭司从那条路下来，看见他，就从另一边走了过去。 32 有一个利未人也正好来到那地方，看见他，也同样地从另一边走了过去。 33 可是，有一个撒马利亚人行路来到他那里，看见他，就动了怜悯之心， 34 上前来，在他的伤处倒上油和酒，包扎好，然后把他扶上自己的牲口，带到旅店里照顾他。 35 第二天[m]，他拿出两个银币[n]交给店家，说‘请你照顾他，一切额外的费用，我回来的时候将还给你。’
36 “你认为，这三个人中，哪一个是落在强盗手中那人的邻人呢？”
37 律法师说：“是那个怜悯他的人。”
耶稣对他说：“你去如此做吧。”
玛妲与玛丽亚
38 他们继续前行，耶稣进了一个村子，有一个名叫玛妲的女人接待他[o]。 39 玛妲有个妹妹[p]，称为玛丽亚，坐在主[q]的脚前听他的话语。 40 玛妲为了很多伺候的事就心里烦乱，上前来说：“主啊，我妹妹丢下我一个人伺候，你不管吗？请叫她来帮我的忙吧。”
41 主[r]回答她，说：“玛妲，玛妲，你为很多事忧虑、烦恼， 42 但是有一件事是需要的，而玛丽亚选择了那美好的一份，是不能从她那里被拿去的。”

Jesus Sends Disciples to Do Mission Work
10 After this, the Lord appointed 70[a] other disciples to go ahead of him to every city and place that he intended to go. They were to travel in pairs.
2 He told them, “The harvest is large, but the workers are few. So ask the Lord who gives this harvest to send workers to harvest his crops. 3 Go! I’m sending you out like lambs among wolves. 4 Don’t carry a wallet, a traveling bag, or sandals, and don’t stop to greet anyone on the way. 5 Whenever you go into a house, greet the family right away with the words, ‘May there be peace in this house.’ 6 If a peaceful person lives there, your greeting will be accepted. But if that’s not the case, your greeting will be rejected. 7 Stay with the family that accepts you. Eat and drink whatever they offer you. After all, the worker deserves his pay. Do not move around from one house to another. 8 Whenever you go into a city and the people welcome you, eat whatever they serve you. 9 Heal the sick that are there, and tell the people, ‘The kingdom of God is near you!’
10 “But whenever you go into a city and people don’t welcome you, leave. Announce in its streets, 11 ‘We are wiping your city’s dust from our feet in protest against you! But realize that the kingdom of God is near you!’ 12 I can guarantee that judgment day will be easier for Sodom than for that city.
13 “How horrible it will be for you, Chorazin! How horrible it will be for you, Bethsaida! If the miracles worked in your cities had been worked in Tyre and Sidon, they would have changed the way they thought and acted. Long ago they would have worn sackcloth and sat in ashes. 14 Judgment day will be better for Tyre and Sidon than for you. 15 And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to heaven? No, you will go to hell!
16 “The person who hears you hears me, and the person who rejects you rejects me. The person who rejects me rejects the one who sent me.”
17 The 70 disciples came back very happy. They said, “Lord, even demons obey us when we use the power and authority of your name!”
18 Yeshua said to them, “I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning. 19 I have given you the authority to trample snakes and scorpions and to destroy the enemy’s power. Nothing will hurt you. 20 However, don’t be happy that evil spirits obey you. Be happy that your names are written in heaven.”
21 In that hour the Holy Spirit filled Yeshua with joy. Yeshua said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for hiding these things from wise and intelligent people and revealing them to little children. Yes, Father, this is what pleased you.
22 “My Father has turned everything over to me. Only the Father knows who the Son is. And no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son is willing to reveal him.”
23 He turned to his disciples in private and said to them, “How blessed you are to see what you’ve seen. 24 I can guarantee that many prophets and kings wanted to see and hear what you’ve seen and heard, but they didn’t.”
A Story about a Good Samaritan
25 Then an expert in Moses’ Teachings stood up to test Yeshua. He asked, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
26 Yeshua answered him, “What is written in Moses’ Teachings? What do you read there?”
27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind. And love your neighbor as you love yourself.’”
28 Yeshua told him, “You’re right! Do this, and life will be yours.”
29 But the man wanted to justify his question. So he asked Yeshua, “Who is my neighbor?”
30 Yeshua replied, “A man went from Jerusalem to Jericho. On the way robbers stripped him, beat him, and left him for dead.
31 “By chance, a priest was traveling along that road. When he saw the man, he went around him and continued on his way. 32 Then a Levite came to that place. When he saw the man, he, too, went around him and continued on his way.
33 “But a Samaritan, as he was traveling along, came across the man. When the Samaritan saw him, he felt sorry for the man, 34 went to him, and cleaned and bandaged his wounds. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 The next day the Samaritan took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper. He told the innkeeper, ‘Take care of him. If you spend more than that, I’ll pay you on my return trip.’
36 “Of these three men, who do you think was a neighbor to the man who was attacked by robbers?”
37 The expert said, “The one who was kind enough to help him.”
Yeshua told him, “Go and imitate his example!”
Mary Listens to Jesus
38 As they were traveling along, Yeshua went into a village. A woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. 39 She had a sister named Mary. Mary sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to him talk.
40 But Martha was upset about all the work she had to do. So she asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work all by myself? Tell her to help me.”
41 The Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha! You worry and fuss about a lot of things. 42 There’s only one thing you need.[b] Mary has made the right choice, and that one thing will not be taken away from her.”
