主差遣七十人

10 這事以後，主又設立七十個人，差遣他們兩個兩個地在他前面，往自己所要到的各城各地方去。 2 就對他們說：「要收的莊稼多，做工的人少。所以，你們當求莊稼的主，打發工人出去收他的莊稼。 3 你們去吧！我差你們出去，如同羊羔進入狼群。 4 不要帶錢囊，不要帶口袋，不要帶鞋，在路上也不要問人的安。 5 無論進哪一家，先要說：『願這一家平安！』 6 那裡若有當得平安的人[a]，你們所求的平安就必臨到那家；不然，就歸於你們了。 7 你們要住在那家，吃喝他們所供給的，因為工人得工價是應當的。不要從這家搬到那家。

傳神的國臨近

8 「無論進哪一城，人若接待你們，給你們擺上什麼，你們就吃什麼。 9 要醫治那城裡的病人，對他們說：『神的國臨近你們了。』 10 無論進哪一城，人若不接待你們，你們就到街上去， 11 說：『就是你們城裡的塵土粘在我們的腳上，我們也當著你們擦去。雖然如此，你們該知道神的國臨近了。』 12 我告訴你們：當審判的日子，所多瑪所受的比那城還容易受呢！ 13 哥拉汛哪，你有禍了！伯賽大啊，你有禍了！因為在你們中間所行的異能，若行在推羅、西頓，他們早已披麻蒙灰、坐在地上悔改了。 14 當審判的日子，推羅、西頓所受的比你們還容易受呢！ 15 迦百農啊，你已經升到天上[b]，將來必推下陰間！」 16 又對門徒說：「聽從你們的，就是聽從我；棄絕你們的，就是棄絕我；棄絕我的，就是棄絕那差我來的。」

七十人回來

17 那七十個人歡歡喜喜地回來，說：「主啊，因你的名，就是鬼也服了我們！」 18 耶穌對他們說：「我曾看見撒旦從天上墜落，像閃電一樣。 19 我已經給你們權柄可以踐踏蛇和蠍子，又勝過仇敵一切的能力，斷沒有什麼能害你們。 20 然而，不要因鬼服了你們就歡喜，要因你們的名記錄在天上歡喜。」

耶穌歡樂

21 正當那時，耶穌被聖靈感動就歡樂，說：「父啊，天地的主，我感謝你！因為你將這些事向聰明通達人就藏起來，向嬰孩就顯出來。父啊，是的，因為你的美意本是如此。 22 一切所有的，都是我父交付我的。除了父，沒有人知道子是誰；除了子和子所願意指示的，沒有人知道父是誰。」 23 耶穌轉身暗暗地對門徒說：「看見你們所看見的，那眼睛就有福了！ 24 我告訴你們：從前有許多先知和君王要看你們所看的，卻沒有看見；要聽你們所聽的，卻沒有聽見。」

撒馬利亞人憐愛受傷的

25 有一個律法師起來試探耶穌，說：「夫子，我該做什麼才可以承受永生？」 26 耶穌對他說：「律法上寫的是什麼？你念的是怎樣呢？」 27 他回答說：「你要盡心、盡性、盡力、盡意愛主你的神，又要愛鄰舍如同自己。」 28 耶穌說：「你回答的是。你這樣行，就必得永生。」 29 那人要顯明自己有理，就對耶穌說：「誰是我的鄰舍呢？」 30 耶穌回答說：「有一個人從耶路撒冷下耶利哥去，落在強盜手中。他們剝去他的衣裳，把他打個半死，就丟下他走了。 31 偶然有一個祭司從這條路下來，看見他，就從那邊過去了。 32 又有一個利未人來到這地方，看見他，也照樣從那邊過去了。 33 唯有一個撒馬利亞人行路來到那裡，看見他，就動了慈心， 34 上前用油和酒倒在他的傷處，包裹好了，扶他騎上自己的牲口，帶到店裡去照應他。 35 第二天拿出二錢銀子來，交給店主說：『你且照應他，此外所費用的，我回來必還你。』 36 你想，這三個人哪一個是落在強盜手中的鄰舍呢？」 37 他說：「是憐憫他的。」耶穌說：「你去照樣行吧。」

馬大為事忙亂

38 他們走路的時候，耶穌進了一個村莊。有一個女人名叫馬大，接他到自己家裡。 39 她有一個妹子名叫馬利亞，在耶穌腳前坐著聽他的道。 40 馬大伺候的事多，心裡忙亂，就進前來說：「主啊，我的妹子留下我一個人伺候，你不在意嗎？請吩咐她來幫助我。」 41 耶穌回答說：「馬大，馬大，你為許多的事思慮煩擾， 42 但是不可少的只有一件。馬利亞已經選擇那上好的福分，是不能奪去的。」

差遣門徒

10 事後，主揀選了七十個門徒[a]，差遣他們兩個兩個地出去，先到祂將要去的城鎮村莊， 2 並對他們說：「要收割的莊稼很多，工人卻很少，因此你們要祈求莊稼的主人派更多的工人去收割祂的莊稼。

3 「你們去吧！我差你們出去，就像把羊羔送入狼群。 4 錢袋、背包和鞋都不要帶，在路上也不要與人寒暄。 5 無論到哪一戶人家，要先說，『願祝福臨到這家！』 6 如果那裡有配得祝福的人，祝福自然會臨到那人，否則祝福仍歸給你們。 7 不要搬來搬去，要固定住在一家，接受那家的款待，因為工人理應得到工錢。

8 「你們無論到哪一個城鎮，如果人們接待你們，就吃他們擺上的飲食。 9 要醫治那城裡的病人，告訴他們，『上帝的國臨近你們了。』 10 但如果哪一個城鎮的人不歡迎你們，你們就到街上宣告， 11 『就連你們城裡的塵土粘在我們腳上，我們都要跺掉，但是要知道，上帝的國臨近了。』 12 我告訴你們，在審判之日，那城所受的刑罰將比所多瑪所受的還重！

13 「哥拉汛啊，你大禍臨頭了！伯賽大啊，你大禍臨頭了！我在你們當中所行的神蹟，如果行在泰爾和西頓，那裡的人早就身披麻衣，頭蒙灰塵，坐在地上悔改了。 14 在審判之日，你們將比泰爾和西頓受更重的刑罰！

15 「迦百農啊，你將被提升到天上嗎？不！你將被打落到陰間。」

16 耶穌繼續對門徒說：「誰聽從你們，就是聽從我；誰拒絕你們，就是拒絕我；拒絕我的，就是拒絕差我來的那位。」

17 七十個門徒興高采烈地回來說：「主啊，我們奉你的名行事，甚至降服了鬼魔。」

18 耶穌回答說：「我看見撒旦像閃電一樣從天上墜下。 19 我已經給你們權柄，使你們能踐踏蛇和蠍子，勝過仇敵的權勢，沒有什麼能傷害你們。 20 然而，不要為了邪靈向你們降服而高興，要因你們的名字記錄在天上而高興。」

23 隨後，耶穌轉身悄悄地對門徒說：「誰看到你們今日所看到的，誰就有福了。 24 我告訴你們，以前有許多先知和君王渴望看見你們所看見的，聽見你們所聽見的，卻未能如願。」

好撒瑪利亞人的比喻

25 有一次，一名律法教師站起來試探耶穌，說：「老師，我應該怎樣做才能得永生呢？」

26 耶穌反問他：「律法怎麼說？你怎麼理解？」

27 律法教師答道：「『你要全心、全情、全力、全意愛主——你的上帝』，又要『愛鄰如己』。」 28 耶穌說：「你答得對，照著去做就有永生了。」

29 律法教師想證明自己有理，就問：「那麼，誰是我的鄰居呢？」

30 耶穌回答說：「有個人從耶路撒冷去耶利哥，途中被劫。強盜剝了他的衣服，把他打個半死，丟在那裡，然後揚長而去。

31 「剛好有位祭司經過，看見那人躺在地上，連忙從旁邊繞過，繼續趕路。 32 又有個利未人經過，也跟先前那個祭司一樣從旁邊繞過去了。

33 「後來，有位撒瑪利亞人[b]經過，看見這個人，就動了慈心， 34 連忙上前用油和酒替他敷傷口，包紮妥當，然後把他扶上自己騎的牲口，帶到附近的客店照料。 35 次日還交給店主兩個銀幣，說，『請替我好好照顧這個人。如果錢不夠的話，等我回來再補給你。』 36 那麼，你認為這三個人中誰是被劫者的鄰居呢？」

37 律法教師說：「是那個同情他的人。」

耶穌說：「你去照樣做吧。」

上好的福分

38 耶穌和門徒去耶路撒冷的途中路過一個村莊，遇到一位名叫瑪大的女子接待他們到家裡作客。 39 瑪大的妹妹瑪麗亞坐在耶穌腳前聽道， 40 瑪大為了招待客人忙亂不已，於是上前對耶穌說：

「主啊，我妹妹讓我一個人伺候大家，你都不管嗎？請你叫她來幫幫我吧。」

41 耶穌對她說：「瑪大，瑪大，你為太多事情憂慮煩惱。 42 其實最要緊的事只有一件，瑪麗亞選擇了上好的，是奪不走的。」

10 And after these things, the Lord also[a] appointed seventy-two others and sent them out two by two before him[b] into every town and place where he was about to go. 2 And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest that he send out workers into his harvest. 3 Go! Behold, I am sending you out like lambs in the midst of wolves! 4 Do not carry a money bag or a traveler’s bag or sandals, and greet no one along the road. 5 And into whatever house you enter, first say, “Peace be to this household!” 6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on him. But if not, it will return to you. 7 And remain in the same house, eating and drinking whatever they provide,[c] for the worker is worthy of his pay. Do not move from house to house. 8 And into whatever town you enter and they welcome you, eat whatever is[d] set before you, 9 and heal the sick in it, and say to them, “The kingdom of God has come near to you.” 10 But into whatever town you enter and they do not welcome you, go out into its streets and[e] say, 11 “Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet we wipe off against you! Nevertheless know this: that the kingdom of God has come near!”[f] 12 I tell you that it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town!

13 Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes! 14 But it will be more bearable for Tyre and for Sidon in the judgment than for you! 15 And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No! You will be brought down to Hades! 16 The one who listens to you listens to me, and the one who rejects you rejects me. But the one who rejects me rejects the one who sent me.”

17 And the seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!” 18 So he said to them, “I saw Satan falling like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I have given you the authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will ever harm you. 20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are inscribed in heaven.”

Jesus Rejoices and Prays

21 At that same time he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to young children. Yes, Father, for this was pleasing before you. 22 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wants to reveal him.”[g]

23 And turning to the disciples, he said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see the things which you see! 24 For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which you see, and did not see them,[h] and to hear the things which you hear, and did not hear them.”[i]

The Parable of the Good Samaritan

25 And behold, a certain legal expert stood up to test him, saying, “Teacher, what must I do so that I will inherit eternal life?” 26 And he said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you read it?”[j] 27 And he answered and[k] said, “You shall love the Lord your God from all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind,[l] and your neighbor as yourself.”[m] 28 And he said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this and you will live.”

29 But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” 30 And[n] Jesus replied and[o] said, “A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell into the hands of robbers, who both stripped him and beat him.[p] After[q] inflicting blows on him,[r] they went away, leaving him[s] half dead. 31 Now by coincidence a certain priest was going down on that road, and when he[t] saw him, he passed by on the opposite side. 32 And in the same way also a Levite, when he[u] came down to the place[v] and saw him,[w] passed by on the opposite side. 33 But a certain Samaritan who was traveling came up to him and, when he[x] saw him,[y] had compassion. 34 And he came up and[z] bandaged his wounds, pouring on olive oil and wine, and he put him on his own animal and[aa] brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 And on the next day, he took out two denarii and[ab] gave them[ac][ad] to the innkeeper, and said, “Take care of him, and whatever you spend in addition, I will repay to you when I return. 36 Which of these three do you suppose became a neighbor of the man who fell among the robbers?” 37 So he said, “The one who showed mercy to him.” And Jesus said to him, “You go and do likewise.”

Martha and Mary

38 Now as they traveled along, he entered into a certain village. And a certain woman named[ae] Martha welcomed him.[af] 39 And she had[ag] a sister named Mary, who also sat at the feet of Jesus[ah] and[ai] was listening to his teaching. 40 But Martha was distracted with much preparation, so she approached and[aj] said, “Lord, is it not a concern to you that my sister has left me alone to make preparations? Then tell her that she should help me!” 41 But the Lord answered and[ak] said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things! 42 But few things are necessary, or only one thing,[al] for Mary has chosen the better part, which will not be taken away from her.”

10 Después de esto, el Señor escogió a otros setenta y dos[a] para enviarlos de dos en dos delante de él a todo pueblo y lugar adonde él pensaba ir. 2 «La cosecha es abundante, pero son pocos los obreros —les dijo—. Por tanto, pidan al Señor de la cosecha que envíe obreros a su campo. 3 ¡Vayan ustedes! ¡Presten atención! Porque los envío como corderos en medio de lobos. 4 No lleven monedero ni bolsa ni sandalias; tampoco se detengan a saludar a nadie por el camino.

5 »En cualquier casa que entren, digan primero: “Paz a esta casa”. 6 Si hay allí alguien que promueva la paz, la paz de ustedes reinará en ella; y si no, la paz regresará a ustedes.[b] 7 Quédense en esa casa, coman y beban de lo que ellos tengan, porque el trabajador tiene derecho a su salario. No anden de casa en casa.

8 »Cuando entren en un pueblo y los reciban, coman lo que les sirvan. 9 Sanen a los enfermos que encuentren allí y díganles: “El reino de Dios está cerca de ustedes”. 10 Pero cuando entren en un pueblo donde no los reciban bien, salgan a las plazas y digan: 11 “Aun el polvo de este pueblo, que se nos ha pegado a los pies, nos lo sacudimos en protesta contra ustedes. Pero tengan por seguro que está cerca el reino de Dios”. 12 Les digo que en aquel día será más tolerable el castigo para Sodoma que para ese pueblo.

13 »¡Ay de ti, Corazín! ¡Ay de ti, Betsaida! Si se hubieran hecho en Tiro y en Sidón los milagros que se hicieron en medio de ustedes, ya hace tiempo que se habrían arrepentido con muchos lamentos.[c] 14 Pero en el juicio será más tolerable el castigo para Tiro y Sidón que para ustedes. 15 Y tú, Capernaúm, ¿acaso serás levantada hasta el cielo? No, sino que descenderás hasta los dominios de la muerte.[d]

16 »El que los escucha a ustedes, me escucha a mí; el que los rechaza a ustedes, me rechaza a mí y el que me rechaza a mí, rechaza al que me envió».

17 Cuando los setenta y dos regresaron, dijeron contentos:

—Señor, hasta los demonios se nos someten en tu nombre.

18 —Yo veía a Satanás caer del cielo como un rayo —respondió él—. 19 Sí, les he dado autoridad a ustedes para pisotear serpientes y escorpiones y vencer todo el poder del enemigo; nada les podrá hacer daño. 20 Sin embargo, no se alegren de que puedan someter a los espíritus, sino alégrense de que sus nombres están escritos en el cielo.

21 En aquel momento Jesús, lleno de alegría por el Espíritu Santo, dijo: «Te alabo, Padre, Señor del cielo y de la tierra, porque habiendo escondido estas cosas de los sabios e instruidos, se las has revelado a los niños. Sí, Padre, porque esa fue tu buena voluntad.

22 »Mi Padre me ha entregado todas las cosas. Nadie sabe quién es el Hijo, sino el Padre; nadie sabe quién es el Padre, sino el Hijo y aquel a quien el Hijo quiera revelarlo».

23 Volviéndose a sus discípulos, les dijo aparte: «¡Dichosos los ojos que ven lo que ustedes ven! 24 Les digo que muchos profetas y reyes quisieron ver lo que ustedes ven, pero no lo vieron; quisieron oír lo que ustedes oyen, pero no lo oyeron».

Parábola del buen samaritano(D)

25 En esto se presentó un experto en la Ley y, para poner a prueba a Jesús, se puso de pie y le hizo esta pregunta:

—Maestro, ¿qué debo hacer para heredar la vida eterna?

26 Jesús respondió:

—¿Qué está escrito en la Ley? ¿Cómo la interpretas tú?

27 Como respuesta el hombre citó:

—“Ama al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, con todo tu ser, con todas tus fuerzas y con toda tu mente”,[e] y “Ama a tu prójimo como a ti mismo”.[f]

28 —Bien contestado —dijo Jesús—. Haz eso y vivirás.

29 Pero él quería justificarse, así que preguntó a Jesús:

—¿Y quién es mi prójimo?

30 Jesús respondió:

—Bajaba un hombre de Jerusalén a Jericó y cayó en manos de unos ladrones. Le quitaron la ropa, lo golpearon y se fueron, dejándolo medio muerto. 31 Resulta que viajaba por el mismo camino un sacerdote quien, al verlo, se desvió y siguió de largo. 32 Así también llegó a aquel lugar un levita y al verlo, se desvió y siguió de largo. 33 Pero un samaritano que iba de viaje llegó adonde estaba el hombre y viéndolo, se compadeció de él. 34 Se acercó, le curó las heridas con vino y aceite, y se las vendó. Luego lo montó sobre su propia cabalgadura, lo llevó a un alojamiento y lo cuidó. 35 Al día siguiente, sacó dos monedas de plata[g] y se las dio al dueño del alojamiento. “Cuídemelo —le dijo—, y lo que gaste usted de más, se lo pagaré cuando yo vuelva”. 36 ¿Cuál de estos tres piensas que demostró ser el prójimo del que cayó en manos de los ladrones?

37 —El que se compadeció de él —contestó el experto en la Ley.

—Anda entonces y haz tú lo mismo —concluyó Jesús.

En casa de Marta y María

38 Mientras iba de camino con sus discípulos, Jesús entró en una aldea y una mujer llamada Marta lo recibió en su casa. 39 Tenía ella una hermana llamada María que, sentada a los pies del Señor, escuchaba lo que él decía. 40 Marta, por su parte, se sentía abrumada porque tenía mucho que hacer. Así que se acercó a él y dijo:

—Señor, ¿no te importa que mi hermana me haya dejado sirviendo sola? ¡Dile que me ayude!

41 —Marta, Marta —contestó el Señor—, estás inquieta y preocupada por muchas cosas, 42 pero solo una es necesaria.[h] María ha escogido la mejor y nadie se la quitará.
