10 这事以后，主又设立七十个人，差遣他们两个两个地在他前面，往自己所要到的各城各地方去。 2 就对他们说：“要收的庄稼多，做工的人少。所以，你们当求庄稼的主，打发工人出去收他的庄稼。 3 你们去吧！我差你们出去，如同羊羔进入狼群。 4 不要带钱囊，不要带口袋，不要带鞋，在路上也不要问人的安。 5 无论进哪一家，先要说：‘愿这一家平安！’ 6 那里若有当得平安的人[a]，你们所求的平安就必临到那家；不然，就归于你们了。 7 你们要住在那家，吃喝他们所供给的，因为工人得工价是应当的。不要从这家搬到那家。
传神的国临近
8 “无论进哪一城，人若接待你们，给你们摆上什么，你们就吃什么。 9 要医治那城里的病人，对他们说：‘神的国临近你们了。’ 10 无论进哪一城，人若不接待你们，你们就到街上去， 11 说：‘就是你们城里的尘土粘在我们的脚上，我们也当着你们擦去。虽然如此，你们该知道神的国临近了。’ 12 我告诉你们：当审判的日子，所多玛所受的比那城还容易受呢！ 13 哥拉汛哪，你有祸了！伯赛大啊，你有祸了！因为在你们中间所行的异能，若行在推罗、西顿，他们早已披麻蒙灰、坐在地上悔改了。 14 当审判的日子，推罗、西顿所受的比你们还容易受呢！ 15 迦百农啊，你已经升到天上[b]，将来必推下阴间！” 16 又对门徒说：“听从你们的，就是听从我；弃绝你们的，就是弃绝我；弃绝我的，就是弃绝那差我来的。”
七十人回来
17 那七十个人欢欢喜喜地回来，说：“主啊，因你的名，就是鬼也服了我们！” 18 耶稣对他们说：“我曾看见撒旦从天上坠落，像闪电一样。 19 我已经给你们权柄可以践踏蛇和蝎子，又胜过仇敌一切的能力，断没有什么能害你们。 20 然而，不要因鬼服了你们就欢喜，要因你们的名记录在天上欢喜。”
耶稣欢乐
21 正当那时，耶稣被圣灵感动就欢乐，说：“父啊，天地的主，我感谢你！因为你将这些事向聪明通达人就藏起来，向婴孩就显出来。父啊，是的，因为你的美意本是如此。 22 一切所有的，都是我父交付我的。除了父，没有人知道子是谁；除了子和子所愿意指示的，没有人知道父是谁。” 23 耶稣转身暗暗地对门徒说：“看见你们所看见的，那眼睛就有福了！ 24 我告诉你们：从前有许多先知和君王要看你们所看的，却没有看见；要听你们所听的，却没有听见。”
撒马利亚人怜爱受伤的
25 有一个律法师起来试探耶稣，说：“夫子，我该做什么才可以承受永生？” 26 耶稣对他说：“律法上写的是什么？你念的是怎样呢？” 27 他回答说：“你要尽心、尽性、尽力、尽意爱主你的神，又要爱邻舍如同自己。” 28 耶稣说：“你回答的是。你这样行，就必得永生。” 29 那人要显明自己有理，就对耶稣说：“谁是我的邻舍呢？” 30 耶稣回答说：“有一个人从耶路撒冷下耶利哥去，落在强盗手中。他们剥去他的衣裳，把他打个半死，就丢下他走了。 31 偶然有一个祭司从这条路下来，看见他，就从那边过去了。 32 又有一个利未人来到这地方，看见他，也照样从那边过去了。 33 唯有一个撒马利亚人行路来到那里，看见他，就动了慈心， 34 上前用油和酒倒在他的伤处，包裹好了，扶他骑上自己的牲口，带到店里去照应他。 35 第二天拿出二钱银子来，交给店主说：‘你且照应他，此外所费用的，我回来必还你。’ 36 你想，这三个人哪一个是落在强盗手中的邻舍呢？” 37 他说：“是怜悯他的。”耶稣说：“你去照样行吧。”
马大为事忙乱
38 他们走路的时候，耶稣进了一个村庄。有一个女人名叫马大，接他到自己家里。 39 她有一个妹子名叫马利亚，在耶稣脚前坐着听他的道。 40 马大伺候的事多，心里忙乱，就进前来说：“主啊，我的妹子留下我一个人伺候，你不在意吗？请吩咐她来帮助我。” 41 耶稣回答说：“马大，马大，你为许多的事思虑烦扰， 42 但是不可少的只有一件。马利亚已经选择那上好的福分，是不能夺去的。”

Jesús envía a los setenta y dos
10 Después de esto, el Señor escogió también a otros setenta y dos, y los mandó de dos en dos delante de él, a todos los pueblos y lugares a donde tenía que ir.
2 Les dijo: «Ciertamente la cosecha es mucha, pero los trabajadores son pocos. Por eso, pidan ustedes al Dueño de la cosecha que mande trabajadores a recogerla. 3 Vayan ustedes; miren que los envío como corderos en medio de lobos. 4 No lleven dinero ni provisiones ni sandalias; y no se detengan a saludar a nadie en el camino. 5 Cuando entren en una casa, saluden primero, diciendo: “Paz a esta casa.” 6 Y si allí hay gente de paz, su deseo de paz se cumplirá; pero si no, ustedes nada perderán. 7 Quédense en la misma casa, y coman y beban de lo que ellos tengan, pues el trabajador tiene derecho a su paga. No anden de casa en casa. 8 Al llegar a un pueblo donde los reciban, coman lo que les sirvan; 9 sanen a los enfermos que haya allí, y díganles: “El reino de Dios ya está cerca de ustedes.” 10 Pero si llegan a un pueblo y no los reciben, salgan a las calles diciendo: 11 “¡Hasta el polvo de su pueblo, que se ha pegado a nuestros pies, lo sacudimos como protesta contra ustedes! Pero sepan esto, que el reino de Dios ya está cerca de ustedes.” 12 Les digo que en aquel día el castigo para ese pueblo será peor que para la gente de Sodoma.

13 »¡Ay de ti, Corazín! ¡Ay de ti, Betsaida! Porque si en Tiro y Sidón se hubieran hecho los milagros que se han hecho entre ustedes, ya hace tiempo que se habrían vuelto a Dios, cubiertos de ropas ásperas y sentados en ceniza. 14 Pero en el día del juicio el castigo para ustedes será peor que para la gente de Tiro y Sidón. 15 Y tú, Cafarnaúm, ¿crees que serás levantado hasta el cielo? ¡Bajarás hasta lo más hondo del abismo!
16 »El que los escucha a ustedes, me escucha a mí; y el que los rechaza a ustedes, me rechaza a mí; y el que me rechaza a mí, rechaza al que me envió.»
Regreso de los setenta y dos
17 Los setenta y dos regresaron muy contentos, diciendo:
—¡Señor, hasta los demonios nos obedecen en tu nombre!
18 Jesús les dijo:
—Sí, pues yo vi que Satanás caía del cielo como un rayo. 19 Yo les he dado poder a ustedes para caminar sobre serpientes y alacranes, y para vencer toda la fuerza del enemigo, sin sufrir ningún daño. 20 Pero no se alegren de que los espíritus los obedezcan, sino de que sus nombres ya están escritos en el cielo.
Sólo el Hijo sabe quién es el Padre(B)
21 En aquel momento, Jesús, lleno de alegría por el Espíritu Santo, dijo: «Te alabo, Padre, Señor del cielo y de la tierra, porque has mostrado a los sencillos las cosas que escondiste de los sabios y entendidos. Sí, Padre, porque así lo has querido.
22 »Mi Padre me ha entregado todas las cosas. Nadie sabe quién es el Hijo, sino el Padre; y nadie sabe quién es el Padre, sino el Hijo y aquellos a quienes el Hijo quiera darlo a conocer.»
23 Volviéndose a los discípulos, les dijo a ellos solos: «Dichosos quienes vean lo que ustedes están viendo; 24 porque les digo que muchos profetas y reyes quisieron ver esto que ustedes ven, y no lo vieron; quisieron oír esto que ustedes oyen, y no lo oyeron.»
Parábola del buen samaritano
25 Un maestro de la ley fue a hablar con Jesús, y para ponerlo a prueba le preguntó:
—Maestro, ¿qué debo hacer para alcanzar la vida eterna?
26 Jesús le contestó:
—¿Qué está escrito en la ley? ¿Qué es lo que lees?
27 El maestro de la ley contestó:
—“Ama al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, con toda tu alma, con todas tus fuerzas y con toda tu mente”; y, “ama a tu prójimo como a ti mismo.”
28 Jesús le dijo:
—Has contestado bien. Si haces eso, tendrás la vida.
29 Pero el maestro de la ley, queriendo justificar su pregunta, dijo a Jesús:
—¿Y quién es mi prójimo?
30 Jesús entonces le contestó:
—Un hombre iba por el camino de Jerusalén a Jericó, y unos bandidos lo asaltaron y le quitaron hasta la ropa; lo golpearon y se fueron, dejándolo medio muerto. 31 Por casualidad, un sacerdote pasaba por el mismo camino; pero al verlo, dio un rodeo y siguió adelante. 32 También un levita llegó a aquel lugar, y cuando lo vio, dio un rodeo y siguió adelante. 33 Pero un hombre de Samaria que viajaba por el mismo camino, al verlo, sintió compasión. 34 Se acercó a él, le curó las heridas con aceite y vino, y le puso vendas. Luego lo subió en su propia cabalgadura, lo llevó a un alojamiento y lo cuidó. 35 Al día siguiente, el samaritano sacó el equivalente al salario de dos días, se lo dio al dueño del alojamiento y le dijo: “Cuide a este hombre, y si gasta usted algo más, yo se lo pagaré cuando vuelva.” 36 Pues bien, ¿cuál de esos tres te parece que se hizo prójimo del hombre asaltado por los bandidos?
37 El maestro de la ley contestó:
—El que tuvo compasión de él.
Jesús le dijo:
—Pues ve y haz tú lo mismo.
Jesús en casa de Marta y María
38 Jesús siguió su camino y llegó a una aldea, donde una mujer llamada Marta lo hospedó. 39 Marta tenía una hermana llamada María, la cual se sentó a los pies de Jesús para escuchar lo que él decía. 40 Pero Marta, que estaba atareada con sus muchos quehaceres, se acercó a Jesús y le dijo:
—Señor, ¿no te preocupa nada que mi hermana me deje sola con todo el trabajo? Dile que me ayude.
41 Pero Jesús le contestó:
—Marta, Marta, estás preocupada y te inquietas por demasiadas cosas, 42 pero sólo una cosa es necesaria. María ha escogido la mejor parte, y nadie se la va a quitar.

Misión de los setenta
10 Después de estas cosas, designó el Señor también a otros setenta, a quienes envió de dos en dos delante de él a toda ciudad y lugar adonde él había de ir. 2 Y les decía: La mies a la verdad es mucha, mas los obreros pocos; por tanto, rogad al Señor de la mies que envíe obreros a su mies.(A) 3 Id; he aquí yo os envío como corderos en medio de lobos.(B) 4 No llevéis bolsa, ni alforja, ni calzado; y a nadie saludéis por el camino. 5 En cualquier casa donde entréis, primeramente decid: Paz sea a esta casa. 6 Y si hubiere allí algún hijo de paz, vuestra paz reposará sobre él; y si no, se volverá a vosotros. 7 Y posad en aquella misma casa, comiendo y bebiendo lo que os den; porque el obrero es digno de su salario.(C) No os paséis de casa en casa. 8 En cualquier ciudad donde entréis, y os reciban, comed lo que os pongan delante; 9 y sanad a los enfermos que en ella haya, y decidles: Se ha acercado a vosotros el reino de Dios. 10 Mas en cualquier ciudad donde entréis, y no os reciban, saliendo por sus calles, decid: 11 Aun el polvo de vuestra ciudad, que se ha pegado a nuestros pies, lo sacudimos contra vosotros.(D) Pero esto sabed, que el reino de Dios se ha acercado a vosotros.(E) 12 Y os digo que en aquel día será más tolerable el castigo para Sodoma,(F) que para aquella ciudad.(G)
Ayes sobre las ciudades impenitentes

Regreso de los setenta
17 Volvieron los setenta con gozo, diciendo: Señor, aun los demonios se nos sujetan en tu nombre. 18 Y les dijo: Yo veía a Satanás caer del cielo como un rayo. 19 He aquí os doy potestad de hollar serpientes y escorpiones,(K) y sobre toda fuerza del enemigo, y nada os dañará. 20 Pero no os regocijéis de que los espíritus se os sujetan, sino regocijaos de que vuestros nombres están escritos en los cielos.

21 En aquella misma hora Jesús se regocijó en el Espíritu, y dijo: Yo te alabo, oh Padre, Señor del cielo y de la tierra, porque escondiste estas cosas de los sabios y entendidos, y las has revelado a los niños. Sí, Padre, porque así te agradó. 22 Todas las cosas me fueron entregadas por mi Padre;(L) y nadie conoce quién es el Hijo sino el Padre; ni quién es el Padre, sino el Hijo,(M) y aquel a quien el Hijo lo quiera revelar.

El buen samaritano
25 Y he aquí un intérprete de la ley se levantó y dijo, para probarle:(N) Maestro, ¿haciendo qué cosa heredaré la vida eterna? 26 Él le dijo: ¿Qué está escrito en la ley? ¿Cómo lees? 27 Aquel, respondiendo, dijo: Amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma, y con todas tus fuerzas, y con toda tu mente;(O) y a tu prójimo como a ti mismo.(P) 28 Y le dijo: Bien has respondido; haz esto, y vivirás.(Q)

Jesús visita a Marta y a María

Jesus Sends Out the Seventy-Two(A)
10 After this, the Lord ·chose [appointed] ·seventy-two[a] [C the number may reflect the 70 nations listed in the “table of nations” in Genesis 10 (the Greek text of which reads “72”) and so foreshadows the mission to the Gentiles] others and sent them out in pairs ahead of him into every town and place where he ·planned [was about] to go. 2 He said to them, “·There are a great many people to harvest [L The harvest is great/large], but ·there are only a few workers [L the workers/laborers are few]. So pray to the Lord ·who owns [who is in charge of; L of] the harvest, that he will send more ·workers [laborers] ·to gather [L into] his harvest. 3 Go now, but ·listen [L look; T behold]! I am sending you out like ·sheep [lambs] among wolves. 4 Don’t carry ·a purse [money bag], a ·bag [traveling bag], or sandals, and don’t ·waste time talking with people [greet anyone] on the road [C because of the urgency of the task]. 5 ·Before [When] you go into a house, [L first] say, ‘Peace be with this house.’ 6 If ·peace-loving people [L a son/child of peace] live there, your ·blessing of peace [L peace] will ·stay with [rest on] them, but if not, then ·your blessing [L it] will come back to you. 7 Stay in the same house, eating and drinking what the people there give you. Jesus Warns Unbelievers(B)
13 “·How terrible for [L Woe to] you, Korazin! ·How terrible for [L Woe to] you, Bethsaida [C towns in Galilee where Jesus ministered]! If the ·miracles [powerful deeds] ·I did [L that occurred] in you had happened in Tyre and Sidon [C cities in Phoenicia notorious for their wickedness], those people would have ·changed their lives [repented] long ago. ·They would have worn rough cloth and put ashes on themselves to show they had changed [L …sitting in sackcloth/burlap and ashes; C signs of sorrow and deep remorse]. 14 But ·on the judgment day [L at the judgment] it will be ·better [more bearable/tolerable] for Tyre and Sidon than for you. 15 And you, Capernaum [C a town in Galilee where Jesus lived and ministered], will you be ·lifted up to [honored/exalted in] heaven? 16 “Whoever listens to you listens to me [Matt. 10:40; John 13:20], and whoever ·refuses to accept [rejects] you ·refuses to accept [rejects] me. And whoever ·refuses to accept [rejects] me ·refuses to accept [rejects] the One who sent me.”
Satan Falls
17 When the ·seventy-two[b] came back, they were very ·happy [joyful] and said, “Lord, even the demons ·obeyed [submit to] us ·when we used your name [L in your name]!”
18 Jesus said, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven [C symbolically in the exorcisms; Is. 14:12; Rev. 12:13]. 19 ·Listen [L Look; T Behold], I have given you ·power [authority] to ·walk on [trample] snakes and scorpions, ·power that is greater than the enemy has [L …and authority over all the power of the enemy]. So nothing will hurt you. 20 But you should not ·be happy [rejoice] because the spirits ·obey [submit to] you but because your names are ·written [recorded] in heaven.”
Jesus Prays to the Father(C)
21 ·Then [At that time; L In the same hour] Jesus ·rejoiced [was full of joy] in the Holy Spirit and said, “I ·praise [bless; thank; acknowledge] you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the people who are wise and ·smart [learned; intelligent]. But you have ·shown [revealed] them to ·those who are like little children [L little children; infants; C those with a childlike faith]. Yes, Father, [L because] this is what ·you really wanted [pleased you].
22 “My Father has ·given [entrusted/committed to] me all things. No one knows who the Son is, except the Father. And no one knows who the Father is, except the Son and those whom the Son ·chooses [desires; intends] to ·tell [L reveal it to].”
23 Then Jesus turned to his ·followers [disciples] and said privately, “·You are blessed to [L Blessed are the eyes that] see what you now see. 24 [L For] I tell you, many prophets and kings wanted to see what you now see, but they did not, and they wanted to hear what you now hear, but they did not.”
The Good Samaritan(D)
25 Then an expert on the law stood up to test Jesus, saying, “Teacher, what must I do to ·get life forever [L inherit eternal life]?”
26 Jesus said, “What is written in the law? ·What do you read there [or How do you interpret it]?”
27 The man answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind [Deut. 6:5].” Also, “Love your neighbor as you love yourself [Lev. 19:18].”
28 Jesus said to him, “Your answer is right. Do this and you will live.”
29 But the man, wanting to ·show the importance of his question [or justify his question; or justify himself/his own actions], said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
30 Jesus answered, “As a man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho [C a dangerous 17-mile trek through desolate territory], some robbers attacked him. They tore off his clothes, beat him, and left him lying there, almost dead. 31 ·It happened that [or By chance] a priest was going down that road. When he saw the man, he ·walked [passed] by on the other side. 32 ·Next [L Likewise; So too], a Levite [C Levites were members of the tribe of Levi who helped the priests in the temple; 1 Chr. 23:24–32] came there, and ·after he went over and looked at the man [L seeing him], he ·walked [passed] by on the other side of the road. 33 Then a Samaritan [C a people disliked by the Jews because they were only part Jewish and worshiped differently] traveling down the road came to where the hurt man was. 37 The expert on the law answered, “The one who showed him mercy.”
Jesus said to him, “Then go and do ·what he did [the same; likewise].”
Mary and Martha
38 While ·Jesus and his followers [L they] were traveling, Jesus went into a ·town [village]. A woman named Martha ·let Jesus stay at her house [L welcomed/received him]. 39 Martha had a sister named Mary, who was sitting at the Lord’s feet and listening to ·him teach [what he said; L his word/message; C sitting at a teacher’s feet indicates the position of a disciple; see Acts 22:3]. 40 But Martha was ·busy [worried; distracted] with ·all the work to be done [the many preparations]. She went in and said, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me alone to ·do all the work [serve; prepare the meal]? [Please; L Therefore] Tell her to help me.”
41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are ·worried [anxious] and upset about many things. 42 Only one thing is ·important [necessary; needed]. Mary has chosen the better thing, and it will never be taken away from her.”
