40 玛妲为了很多伺候的事就心里烦乱，上前来说：“主啊，我妹妹丢下我一个人伺候，你不管吗？请叫她来帮我的忙吧。”
41 主[a]回答她，说：“玛妲，玛妲，你为很多事忧虑、烦恼， 42 但是有一件事是需要的，而玛丽亚选择了那美好的一份，是不能从她那里被拿去的。”

41 耶稣对她说：“玛大，玛大，你为太多事情忧虑烦恼。 42 其实最要紧的事只有一件，玛丽亚选择了上好的，是夺不走的。”

40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care(A) that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried(B) and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one.[a](C) Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
