神是滿有公義與權能的王
97 耶和華作王，願地快樂，
願眾海島都歡喜。
2 密雲和幽暗在他的四圍，
公義和公正是他寶座的根基。
3 有火走在他的前面，
燒盡他四圍的敵人。
4 他的閃電照亮世界，
大地看見了就戰慄。
5 在耶和華面前，就是在全地的主面前，
群山都像蠟一般融化。
6 諸天傳揚他的公義，
萬民得見他的榮耀。
7 願所有事奉雕刻的偶像的，
以虛無的偶像為誇口的，都蒙羞；
眾神哪！你們都要拜他。
8 耶和華啊！錫安聽見你的判斷就歡喜，
猶大的各城（“各城”原文作“女子”）也都快樂。
9 耶和華啊！因為你是全地的至高者；
你被尊崇，遠超過眾神之上。
10 你們愛耶和華的，都要恨惡罪惡；
耶和華保護聖民的性命，
救他們脫離惡人的手。
11 有亮光照耀（“照耀”有古抄本作“散播”）義人，
心裡正直的人得享喜樂。
12 義人哪！你們要靠耶和華歡喜，

97 கர்த்தர் ஆளுகிறார், பூமி மகிழும்.
தூரத்துத் தேசங்கள் எல்லாம் மகிழ்கின்றன.
2 அடர்ந்த இருண்ட மேகங்கள் கர்த்தரைச் சூழும்.
நன்மையும் நீதியும் அவர் அரசை வலிமையாக்கும்.
3 கர்த்தருக்கு முன்னே ஒரு அக்கினி செல்கிறது,
அது பகைவரை அழிக்கிறது.
4 வானத்தில் அவரது மின்னல் மின்னுகிறது.
ஜனங்கள் அதைக் கண்டு அஞ்சுகிறார்கள்.
5 கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பு மலைகள் மெழுகு போல உருகும்.

King James Version
97 The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
2 Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.
8 Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O Lord.
9 For thou, Lord, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.
10 Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12 Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
