上帝是至高的统治者
97 耶和华掌权，大地要欢欣！
众海岛要快乐！
2 密云和黑暗环绕在祂周围，
公义和公平是祂宝座的根基。
3 烈火做祂的先锋，
烧灭祂周围的仇敌。
4 祂的闪电照亮世界，
大地因此而战抖。
5 在天下之主耶和华面前，
群山如蜡熔化。
6 诸天述说祂的公义，
万民瞻仰祂的荣耀。
7 愿一切祭拜神像，
以神像夸口的人都蒙羞。
所有的神明啊，
你们都要向耶和华下拜。
8 耶和华啊，听见你的审判，
锡安就欢喜，
犹大的城邑就快乐。

Psalm 97
The Majestic King
1 The Lord reigns! Let the earth rejoice;
let the many coasts and islands be glad.(A)
2 Clouds and thick darkness surround Him;
righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.(B)
3 Fire goes before Him
and burns up His foes on every side.(C)
4 His lightning lights up the world;
the earth sees and trembles.(D)
5 The mountains melt like wax
at the presence of the Lord—
at the presence of the Lord of all the earth.(E)
7 All who serve carved images,
those who boast in idols, will be put to shame.(H)
All the gods[a] must worship Him.(I)
8 Zion hears and is glad,
and the towns[b] of Judah rejoice
because of Your judgments, Lord.(J)
9 For You, Lord,
are the Most High over all the earth;
You are exalted above all the gods.(K)
10 You who love the Lord, hate evil!(L)
He protects the lives of His godly ones;(M)
He rescues them from the power of the wicked.(N)
11 Light dawns[c][d] for the righteous,
gladness for the upright in heart.(O)
12 Be glad in Yahweh, you righteous ones,
and praise His holy name.[e](P)

3 Fuego se extiende delante de él
y calcina a todos sus enemigos.
4 Sus relámpagos destellan por el mundo;

5 Las montañas se derriten como cera delante del Señor,
delante del Señor de toda la tierra.
6 Los cielos proclaman su justicia;
toda nación ve su gloria.
7 Los que rinden culto a ídolos quedan deshonrados
