稱頌上帝的公義
大衛的詩，交給樂長，調用「慕拉辨」[a]。
9 耶和華啊，
我要全心全意地讚美你，
傳揚你一切奇妙的作為。
2 我要因你歡喜快樂，
至高者啊，我要歌頌你的名。
3 我的仇敵必在你面前敗退，
倒地身亡。
4 你坐在寶座上按公義審判，
你為我主持公道。
5 你斥責列國，消滅惡人，
永永遠遠抹去他們的名字。
6 仇敵永遠滅亡了，
你把他們的城池連根拔起，
無人再記得他們。
7 耶和華永遠掌權，
祂已設立施行審判的寶座。
8 祂要以公義審判世界，
在萬民中伸張正義。
9 耶和華是受欺壓之人的避難所，
是他們患難之時的避風港。
10 耶和華啊，
凡認識你名的人都必信靠你，
因為你從來不丟棄尋求你的人。
11 要歌頌住在錫安的耶和華，
在列邦傳揚祂的作為。
12 祂追討血債，顧念受害者，
不忘傾聽受苦者的呼求。
13 耶和華啊，
看看仇敵對我的迫害！
求你憐憫我，
救我離開死亡之門，
14 我好在錫安的城門口稱頌你，
因你的拯救而歡樂。
15 列邦挖了陷阱卻自陷其中，
設下網羅卻纏住自己的腳。
16 耶和華彰顯了自己的公義，
使惡人自食其果。（細拉）
17 惡人必下陰間，這是所有忘記上帝之人的結局。
18 貧乏人不會永遠被遺忘，
受苦人的希望也不會一直落空。
19 耶和華啊，求你起來，
別讓人向你誇勝，

9 耶和華啊！我要全心稱謝你，
我要述說你一切奇妙的作為。
2 我要因你快樂歡欣；
至高者啊！我要歌頌你的名。
3 我的仇敵轉身退後的時候，
就在你的面前絆倒、滅亡。
4 因為你為我伸了冤，辨了屈；
你坐在寶座上，施行公義的審判。
5 你斥責了列國，滅絕了惡人；
你塗抹了他們的名，直到永永遠遠。
6 仇敵的結局到了，他們遭毀滅，
直到永遠；
你拆毀他們的城鎮，使它們湮沒無聞。
7 耶和華卻永遠坐著為王，
為了施行審判，他已經設立寶座。
8 他必以公義審判世界，
按正直判斷萬民。
9 耶和華要給受欺壓的人作保障，
作患難時的避難所。
10 認識你名的人必倚靠你；
耶和華啊！你從未撇棄尋求你的人。
11 你們要歌頌住在錫安的耶和華，
要在萬民中傳揚他的作為。
12 因為那追討流人血的罪的，他記念受苦的人，

13 耶和華啊！求你恩待我，

求你把我從死門拉上來，
14 好叫我述說你一切可稱頌的事，
並在錫安的城門（“的城門”原文作“女子的門”）因你的救恩歡樂。
15 列國陷入自己挖掘的坑中，
他們的腳在自己暗設的網裡纏住了。
16 耶和華已經把自己顯明，又施行了審判；

17 惡人都必歸到陰間，
忘記 神的列國都必滅亡。
18 但貧窮的人必不會被永遠遺忘，
困苦人的希望也必不會永久落空。
19 耶和華啊！求你起來，不要讓世人得勝；
願列國都在你面前受審判。
20 耶和華啊！求你使他們驚懼，

2 Ich will den Herrn loben von ganzem Herzen,
ich will alle deine Wunder erzählen.
3 Ich will mich freuen und frohlocken in dir,
ich will deinem Namen lobsingen, du Höchster!
4 Als meine Feinde zurückwichen,
da strauchelten sie und kamen um vor deinem Angesicht.
5 Denn du hast mein Recht und meine Sache geführt,
du sitzt auf dem Thron als ein gerechter Richter!
6 Du hast die Heidenvölker gescholten,
den Gesetzlosen umgebracht,
ihren Namen ausgelöscht auf immer und ewig.
7 Der Feind — er ist völlig und für immer zertrümmert,
und die Städte hast du zerstört;
ihr Andenken ist dahin.
8 Aber der Herr thront auf ewig;
er hat seinen Thron aufgestellt zum Gericht.
9 Ja, Er wird den Erdkreis richten in Gerechtigkeit
und den Völkern das Urteil sprechen, wie es recht ist.
10 Und der Herr wird eine Zuflucht[c] sein dem Unterdrückten,
eine Zuflucht in Zeiten der Not.
11 Darum vertrauen auf dich, die deinen Namen kennen;
denn du hast nicht verlassen, die dich, Herr, suchen!
12 Lobsingt dem Herrn, der in Zion wohnt,
verkündigt seine Taten unter den Völkern!
13 Denn er forscht nach der Blutschuld und denkt daran;
er vergisst das Schreien der Elenden nicht.
14 Herr, sei mir gnädig!
Sieh, wie ich unterdrückt werde von denen, die mich hassen!
Befreie mich[d] aus den Toren des Todes,
15 damit ich all deinen Ruhm erzähle
in den Toren der Tochter Zion[e],
damit ich jauchze über dein Heil!
16 Die Heidenvölker sind versunken in der Grube, die sie gegraben haben;
ihr Fuß hat sich gefangen in dem Netz, das sie heimlich stellten.
17 Der Herr hat sich zu erkennen gegeben, hat Gericht gehalten;
der Gottlose ist verstrickt in dem Werk seiner Hände! (Saitenspiel — Sela.)
18 Die Gottlosen müssen ins Totenreich hinabfahren,
alle Heidenvölker, die Gott vergessen.
19 Denn der Arme wird nicht für immer vergessen;
die Hoffnung der Elenden[f] wird nicht stets vergeblich sein.
20 Steh auf, o Herr, damit der Mensch[g] nicht die Oberhand gewinnt,
dass die Heidenvölker gerichtet werden vor deinem Angesicht!
21 O Herr, lege doch Furcht auf sie,
damit die Heidenvölker erkennen, dass sie [sterbliche] Menschen sind! (Sela.)

1 I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;(A)
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.(B)
2 I will be glad and rejoice(C) in you;
I will sing the praises(D) of your name,(E) O Most High.
3 My enemies turn back;
they stumble and perish before you.
4 For you have upheld my right(F) and my cause,(G)
sitting enthroned(H) as the righteous judge.(I)
5 You have rebuked the nations(J) and destroyed the wicked;
you have blotted out their name(K) for ever and ever.
6 Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies,
you have uprooted their cities;(L)
even the memory of them(M) has perished.
7 The Lord reigns forever;(N)
he has established his throne(O) for judgment.
8 He rules the world in righteousness(P)
and judges the peoples with equity.(Q)
9 The Lord is a refuge(R) for the oppressed,(S)
a stronghold in times of trouble.(T)
10 Those who know your name(U) trust in you,

18 But God will never forget the needy;

- Psalm 9:1 Psalms 9 and 10 may originally have been a single acrostic poem in which alternating lines began with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet. In the Septuagint they constitute one psalm.
- Psalm 9:1 In Hebrew texts 9:1-20 is numbered 9:2-21.
- Psalm 9:16 The Hebrew has Higgaion and Selah (words of uncertain meaning) here; Selah occurs also at the end of verse 20.

9 I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
3 When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
4 For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.
5 Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
6 O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.
7 But the Lord shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.
8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
9 The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
11 Sing praises to the Lord, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
12 When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.
13 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
14 That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.
15 The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
16 The Lord is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
19 Arise, O Lord; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.
20 Put them in fear, O Lord: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
