称颂上帝的公义
大卫的诗，交给乐长，调用“慕拉辨”[a]。
9 耶和华啊，
我要全心全意地赞美你，
传扬你一切奇妙的作为。
2 我要因你欢喜快乐，
至高者啊，我要歌颂你的名。
3 我的仇敌必在你面前败退，
倒地身亡。
4 你坐在宝座上按公义审判，
你为我主持公道。
5 你斥责列国，消灭恶人，
永永远远抹去他们的名字。
6 仇敌永远灭亡了，
你把他们的城池连根拔起，
无人再记得他们。
7 耶和华永远掌权，
祂已设立施行审判的宝座。
8 祂要以公义审判世界，
在万民中伸张正义。
9 耶和华是受欺压之人的避难所，
是他们患难之时的避风港。
10 耶和华啊，
凡认识你名的人都必信靠你，
因为你从来不丢弃寻求你的人。
11 要歌颂住在锡安的耶和华，
在列邦传扬祂的作为。
12 祂追讨血债，顾念受害者，
不忘倾听受苦者的呼求。
13 耶和华啊，

Psalmul 9[a]
Pentru dirijor. Se cântă ca şi „Moartea fiului“. Un psalm al lui David.
1 Te voi lăuda, Doamne, din toată inima mea,
voi povesti toate minunile Tale.
2 Mă voi bucura şi mă voi veseli în Tine,
voi cânta laudă Numelui Tău, Preaînalte!
3 Duşmanii mei dau înapoi,
se poticnesc şi pier dinaintea Ta,
4 căci Tu ai judecat cauza mea şi mi-ai făcut dreptate;
ai şezut pe tron ca Unul Care judeci cu dreptate.
5 Tu ai mustrat neamurile şi l-ai nimicit pe cel rău;
le-ai şters numele pentru veci de veci.
6 Duşmanul a sfârşit în ruine veşnice!
I-ai smuls cetăţile
şi ai dat uitării amintirea lor.
7 Domnul însă va trona pe vecie!
El Îşi pregăteşte tronul pentru judecată.
8 El va judeca lumea cu dreptate,
va cântări noroadele cu nepărtinire.
9 Domnul este o fortăreaţă pentru cel asuprit,
o fortăreaţă în vremuri de necaz.
10 Cei ce cunosc Numele Tău se încred în Tine,
căci Tu nu-i părăseşti pe cei ce Te caută, Doamne!
11 Cântaţi Domnului, Care este întronat în Sion!
Vestiţi printre popoare isprăvile Lui!
12 Căci El, Care răzbună sângele vărsat, Îşi aduce aminte
şi nu trece cu vederea strigătul sărmanilor.
13 Îndură-te de mine, Doamne,
uită-te la suferinţa pe care mi-o pricinuiesc duşmanii mei!
Ridică-mă de la porţile morţii!
14 Atunci voi vesti toate laudele Tale la porţile fiicei Sionului,
mă voi veseli de mântuirea Ta!
15 Neamurile se vor cufunda în groapa pe care au săpat-o;
chiar în laţul pe care l-au ascuns li se va prinde piciorul.
16 Domnul Se descoperă şi face judecată[b];
Cel rău este prins chiar prin lucrarea mâinilor lui.Higgaion[c]. Sela
17 Cei răi se întorc în Locuinţa Morţilor,
împreună cu toate neamurile care uită de Dumnezeu.
18 Dar El nu-l uită pe cel sărman pentru totdeauna,
nici nu-i lasă fără nădejde pe cei asupriţi.
19 Ridică-Te, Doamne, să nu biruie omul!
Să fie judecate neamurile înaintea Ta!
20 Pune groaza în ei, Doamne!
Să recunoască neamurile că sunt doar nişte oameni!Sela

Thanksgiving for Victory
For the director of music. To the tune of “The Death of the Son.” A psalm of David.
9 I will ·praise [or give thanks to] you, Lord, with all my heart.
I will ·tell [recount] all ·the miracles you have done [your wonderful deeds].
2 I will be happy and rejoice because of you;
God Most High, I will sing praises to your name.
3 My enemies turn back;
they ·are overwhelmed [L stumble] and ·die [perish] ·because of [or before] you.
4 You have ·heard [upheld; maintained] my ·complaint [just cause; or right and my cause];
you sat on your throne and judged ·by what was right [righteously].
5 You ·spoke strongly against the [rebuked; reproved] foreign nations and destroyed the wicked;
you ·wiped out [blotted out; erased] their names forever and ever.
6 The enemy is ·gone [done; a ruin] forever.
You ·destroyed [uprooted] their cities;
·no one even remembers them [L their memory perishes].
7 But the Lord ·rules [is enthroned; L sits] forever.
He ·sits on his throne to judge [L has established his throne for justice/judgment],
8 and he will judge the world ·in fairness [with righteousness];
he will decide what is fair for the ·nations [peoples; 96:10; 98:9].
9 The Lord ·defends [L is a refuge for] those who ·suffer [are oppressed/exploited];
·he defends them [L a refuge] in times of ·trouble [distress].
10 Those who know ·the Lord [L your name] trust ·him [L you],

11 Sing praises to the Lord who ·is king on Mount [L dwells on] Zion [C the location of the Temple].
Tell ·the nations [L among the peoples] what he has done.
12 ·He remembers who the murderers are [or The one who avenges blood remembers them; C God];
he will not forget the cries of those who suffer.
13 Lord, ·have mercy on [be gracious toward] me.
See how ·my enemies [L those who hate me] ·hurt [afflict; persecute] me.
·Do not let me go through [L Lift me up from] the gates of death.
14 Then, at the gates of ·Jerusalem [the daughter of Zion; C a name of Jerusalem], I will ·praise you [L declare your praises];
I will rejoice ·because you saved me [L in your salvation].
15 The nations have ·fallen [L sunk] into the pit they ·dug [L made].
Their feet are caught in the nets they ·laid [L hid].
16 The Lord has made himself known by ·his fair decisions [L the judgments he has made];
the wicked get trapped by ·what they do [L the deeds of their palms/hands]. ·
17 Wicked people will ·go [L return] to the ·grave [or underworld; L Sheol],
and so will all ·those who [L the nations that] forget God.
18 But those who ·have troubles [are afflicted] will not always be forgotten.
The hopes of the ·poor [oppressed; exploited] will never ·die [perish].
19 Lord, rise up and don’t let people ·think they are strong [L prevail].
Judge the nations in your presence.
20 ·Teach them to fear you [or Strike them with terror; Deut. 4:34; 28:8; 34:12], Lord.
The nations must learn that they are ·only human [mere mortals]. ·
