稱頌 神公義的審判

9 耶和華啊！我要全心稱謝你，
我要述說你一切奇妙的作為。
2 我要因你快樂歡欣；
至高者啊！我要歌頌你的名。
3 我的仇敵轉身退後的時候，
就在你的面前絆倒、滅亡。
4 因為你為我伸了冤，辨了屈；
你坐在寶座上，施行公義的審判。
5 你斥責了列國，滅絕了惡人；
你塗抹了他們的名，直到永永遠遠。
6 仇敵的結局到了，他們遭毀滅，
直到永遠；
你拆毀他們的城鎮，使它們湮沒無聞。
7 耶和華卻永遠坐著為王，
為了施行審判，他已經設立寶座。
8 他必以公義審判世界，
按正直判斷萬民。
9 耶和華要給受欺壓的人作保障，
作患難時的避難所。
10 認識你名的人必倚靠你；
耶和華啊！你從未撇棄尋求你的人。
11 你們要歌頌住在錫安的耶和華，
要在萬民中傳揚他的作為。
12 因為那追討流人血的罪的，他記念受苦的人，
他沒有忘記他們的哀求。
13 耶和華啊！求你恩待我，
看看那些恨我的人加給我的苦難；
求你把我從死門拉上來，
14 好叫我述說你一切可稱頌的事，

15 列國陷入自己挖掘的坑中，
他們的腳在自己暗設的網裡纏住了。
16 耶和華已經把自己顯明，又施行了審判；

17 惡人都必歸到陰間，
忘記 神的列國都必滅亡。
18 但貧窮的人必不會被永遠遺忘，
困苦人的希望也必不會永久落空。
19 耶和華啊！求你起來，不要讓世人得勝；
願列國都在你面前受審判。
20 耶和華啊！求你使他們驚懼，
願列國都知道自己不過是人。（細拉）

To the Overcomer upon Muthlabben, A Psalm of David.
1 ¶ I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all thy marvellous works.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High
3 because my enemies are turned back; they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
4 For thou hast accomplished my judgment and my cause; thou didst sit in the throne judging according to righteousness.
5 Thou hast reprehended the Gentiles, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
6 O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and the cities that thou hast destroyed; their memorial is perished with them.
7 But the LORD shall endure for ever; he has prepared his throne for judgment.
8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall judge the peoples in uprightness.
9 The LORD also will be a refuge to the humble, a refuge for the time of trouble.
10 And those that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, O LORD, hast not forsaken those that seek thee.
11 ¶ Sing unto the LORD, he who dwells in Zion; declare among the people his doings.
12 When he makes requirement for blood, he remembers them; he does not forget the cry of the humble.
13 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer from those that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
14 that I may show forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy saving health.
15 The Gentiles are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid their own foot is taken.
16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he has executed; the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion (meditate on this for ever). Selah.
17 The wicked shall be put into Sheol, all the Gentiles that forget God.
18 For the humble shall not always be forgotten: the hope of the poor shall not perish for ever.
19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the Gentiles be judged in thy sight.
20 Put fear into them, O LORD: that the Gentiles may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

Tacksägelse för seger över fiender
1 För sångmästaren, till mutlabbén.[b] En psalm av David.
2 Jag vill tacka Herren av hela mitt hjärta,
jag vill förkunna alla dina under.
3 Jag vill vara glad och jubla i dig,
jag vill lovsjunga ditt namn, du den Högste.
4 Ty mina fiender viker tillbaka,
de faller och går under inför ditt ansikte.
5 Du har hävdat min rätt och fört min talan,
du sitter på din tron som en rättfärdig domare.
6 Du har straffat hednafolk
och förgjort ogudaktiga,
deras namn har du utplånat för evigt.
7 Fienderna är borta, utrotade för alltid.
Deras städer har du omstörtat,
minnet av dem har du utplånat.
8 Herren regerar i evighet,
sin tron har han gjort till ett domarsäte.
9 Han skall döma världen med rättfärdighet,
skipa rätt bland folken med rättvisa.
10 Herren är en borg för den förtryckte,
en borg i nödens tider.
11 De som känner ditt namn förtröstar på dig,
ty du överger inte dem som söker dig, Herre.
12 Lovsjung Herren som bor i Sion,
förkunna hans gärningar bland folken.
13 Ty han som hämnas blodsutgjutelser kommer ihåg dem,
han glömmer ej de betrycktas klagorop.
14 Var mig nådig, Herre.
Se hur jag plågas av dem som hatar mig,
du som lyfter mig upp från dödens portar,
15 för att jag skall förkunna allt ditt lov
och i dottern Sions portar jubla över din frälsning.
16 Hednafolk har sjunkit ner
i den grav de grävde,
i det nät de lade ut har deras fot blivit fångad.
17 Herren har gjort sig känd,
han har hållit dom.
Den ogudaktige blir snärjd i sina egna gärningar.

18 De ogudaktiga skall vika tillbaka ner i dödsriket,
alla hednafolk som glömmer Gud.
19 Men den fattige skall inte bli glömd för alltid,
de betrycktas hopp skall ej bli om intet för evigt.
20 Stå upp, Herre, låt inte människor få makten,
låt hednafolken bli dömda inför ditt ansikte.
21 Låt fruktan komma över dem, Herre,
låt hednafolken förstå att de endast är människor. Sela.

For the director of music. To the tune of “The Death of the Son.” A psalm of David.
1 I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;(A)
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.(B)
2 I will be glad and rejoice(C) in you;
I will sing the praises(D) of your name,(E) O Most High.
3 My enemies turn back;
they stumble and perish before you.
4 For you have upheld my right(F) and my cause,(G)
sitting enthroned(H) as the righteous judge.(I)
5 You have rebuked the nations(J) and destroyed the wicked;
you have blotted out their name(K) for ever and ever.
6 Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies,
you have uprooted their cities;(L)
even the memory of them(M) has perished.
7 The Lord reigns forever;(N)
he has established his throne(O) for judgment.
8 He rules the world in righteousness(P)

- Psalm 9:16 The Hebrew has Higgaion and Selah (words of uncertain meaning) here; Selah occurs also at the end of verse 20.
