85 ¶ (85:1) Pou chèf sanba yo. Se yon sòm pitit Kore yo. (85:2) Seyè, ou te bon pou peyi ou la! Ou te mennen pitit Jakòb ki te prizonye yo tounen!
2 (85:3) Ou te padonnen tou sa yo te fè ki mal, ou te efase tout peche yo.
3 (85:4) Ou pa t' fache sou yo ankò! Ou te sispann fè kòlè sou yo!
4 (85:5) Mete nou kanpe sou de pye nou ankò! O Bondye, ou menm ki delivrans nou! Ou pa bezwen fache sou nou ankò!
5 (85:6) Eske w'ap toujou rete fache sou nou? Eske ou p'ap janm byen ak nou ankò?
6 (85:7) Eske ou p'ap ban nou lavi ankò, pou pèp ou ka fè fèt pou ou?
7 (85:8) Seyè, fè nou wè jan ou renmen nou! Delivre nou non!
8 ¶ (85:9) M'ap koute sa Seyè, Bondye a, ap di: Li pale ak pèp li a, ak moun ki kenbe l' fèm yo, li pwomèt pou l' fè yo viv ak kè poze, depi yo pa janm lage kò yo nan fè betiz ankò.
9 (85:10) Wi, li pare pou l' delivre moun ki gen krentif pou li, pou l' fè yo santi pouvwa li, pou l' toujou la avèk yo.
10 (85:11) Lè sa a nan peyi a, moun yo yonn va renmen lòt, pesonn p'ap bay lòt manti ankò. Moun va viv byen yonn ak lòt, pesonn p'ap fè lòt lenjistis ankò!
11 (85:12) Sou latè moun p'ap vire do bay Bondye. Bondye menm, bò pa li, va rete nan syèl la, l'a gade anba san patipri.
12 (85:13) Seyè a va fè nou jwenn tout kalite bon bagay. Jaden nou yo va bay bèl rekòt.
13 (85:14) Moun k'ap mache dwat yo va pran devan. Kote yo pase moun ap viv byen yonn ak lòt.

85 O Yahweh, you favored your land.
You restored the fortunes[b] of Jacob.
2 You took away the guilt[c] of your people;
you covered all their sin. Selah
3 You withdrew all your wrath;
you turned from your burning anger.
4 Restore us, O God of our salvation,
and annul your vexation with us.
5 Will you be angry against us forever?
Will you prolong your anger generation after generation?
6 Will you not again revive us,
that your people might rejoice in you?
7 Show us, O Yahweh, your loyal love,
and grant us your salvation.
8 I will hear what God, Yahweh, will speak,
because he will speak peace
to his people, even his faithful ones,[d]
but let them not return to folly.
9 Surely his salvation is near for those who fear him,
that glory may abide in our land.
10 Loyal love and faithfulness[e] will meet one another;
righteousness and peace will kiss.
11 Faithfulness[f] will sprout from the ground,
and righteousness will look down from heaven.
12 Yes, Yahweh will give what is good,
and our land will give its produce.
13 Righteousness will go before him,
and it will make his steps a pathway.

1 You, Lord, showed favor to your land;
you restored the fortunes(A) of Jacob.
2 You forgave(B) the iniquity(C) of your people
and covered all their sins.[b]
3 You set aside all your wrath(D)
and turned from your fierce anger.(E)
4 Restore(F) us again, God our Savior,(G)
and put away your displeasure toward us.
5 Will you be angry with us forever?(H)
Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
6 Will you not revive(I) us again,
that your people may rejoice(J) in you?
7 Show us your unfailing love,(K) Lord,
and grant us your salvation.(L)
8 I will listen to what God the Lord says;
he promises peace(M) to his people, his faithful servants—
but let them not turn to folly.(N)
9 Surely his salvation(O) is near those who fear him,
that his glory(P) may dwell in our land.
10 Love and faithfulness(Q) meet together;
righteousness(R) and peace kiss each other.
11 Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
and righteousness(S) looks down from heaven.
12 The Lord will indeed give what is good,(T)
and our land will yield(U) its harvest.
13 Righteousness goes before him
and prepares the way for his steps.
