85 耶和華啊！你恩待了你的地，
恢復了雅各的產業（“恢復了雅各的產業”或譯：“領回了雅各被擄的”）。
2 你赦免了你子民的罪孽，
遮蓋了他們的一切罪惡。（細拉）
3 你收回了你的一切忿怒，
使你猛烈的怒氣轉消。
4 拯救我們的 神啊！求你復興我們，
求你止住你向我們所發的忿怒。
5 你要永遠向我們發怒嗎？
你要延長你的怒氣到萬代嗎？
6 你不使我們再活過來，
以致你的子民可以因你歡喜嗎？
7 耶和華啊！求你使我們得見你的慈愛，
又把你的救恩賜給我們。
8 我要聽 神耶和華所要說的話；
因為他應許賜平安給他的子民，給他的聖民；
但願他們不要轉向愚妄。

A Prayer for the Nation
For the director of music. A psalm of the sons of Korah [C descendants of Kohath, son of Levi, who served as temple musicians; 1 Chr. 6:22].
85 Lord, you ·have been kind to [delight in] your land;
you ·brought back [restored the fortunes of; C perhaps at the end of the exile] the people of Jacob [C another name for Israel].
2 You forgave the guilt of the people
and covered all their sins. ·
3 You ·stopped [drew back from] all your anger;
you turned back from your ·strong [burning] anger.
4 God our Savior, ·bring us back again [restore us again].
Stop being angry with us.
5 Will you be angry with us forever?
Will you ·stay angry [draw out your anger against us] from now on?
6 Won’t you give us life again?
Your people would rejoice in you.
7 Lord, show us your ·love [loyalty],
and ·save us [L give to us your salvation/victory].
8 I will listen to what God the Lord says.
He has ·ordered [spoken; promised] ·peace [prosperity] for ·those who worship him [L his people, his saints/loyal ones].
Don’t let them go back to foolishness.
9 ·God will soon save those who respect him [L His salvation/victory is near to those who fear him; Prov. 1:7],
and his glory will ·be seen [L dwell] in our land.
10 ·Love [Loyalty] and ·truth [faithfulness] ·belong to God’s people [L meet];
·goodness [righteousness] and ·peace [prosperity] ·will be theirs [L kiss].
11 ·On earth people will be loyal to God [Faithfulness sprouts/blooms from the earth/land],
and ·God’s goodness [righteousness] will ·shine [look] down from heaven.
12 The Lord will give his ·goodness [or good gifts],
and the land will give its crops.
13 ·Goodness [Righteousness] will go before ·God [L him]
and prepare the way for ·him [L his steps].

«لِقَائِدِ المُرَنِّمِينَ» مَزْمُورٌ لِبَنِي قُورَح.
85 ارضَ يَا اللهُ عَنْ بَلَدِكَ،
وَأرجِعْ مَنفِيِّي يَعْقُوبَ إلَى هَذِهِ الأرْضِ.
2 انزَعْ إثمَ شَعْبِكَ!
امحُ جَمِيعَ خَطَايَاهُمْ! سِلَاهْ
3 كُفَّ عَنْ غَضَبِكَ!
ارجِعْ عَنْ سَخَطِكَ عَلَيْنَا!
4 يَا اللهُ مُخَلِّصَنَا، أرْجِعْنَا إلَيْكَ،
وَكُفَّ عَنْ غَضَبِكَ عَلَيْنَا.
5 هَلْ سَتَبْقَى إلَى الأبَدِ غَاضِبًا مِنَّا؟
هَلْ سَتُدِيمُ غَضَبَكَ جِيلًا بَعْدَ جِيلٍ؟
6 عُدْ إلَينَا وَأحْيِنَا
لِكَي يَفْرَحَ بِكَ شَعْبُكَ!
7 أرِنَا يَا اللهُ رَحْمَتَكَ!
خَلِّصنَا!
8 سَأسْمَعُ مَا يَقُولُهُ اللهُ:
«سَلَامٌ لِشَعْبِهِ وَأتقِيَائِهِ!
لِذَلِكَ لَا يَنْبَغِي أنْ يَرْجِعُوا إلَى طُرُقِهِمُ الحَمقَاءِ.»
9 وَسَيُنقِذُ أيْضًا عَنْ قَرِيبٍ خَائِفِيهِ.
فَنَحيَا بِكَرَامَةٍ عَلَى أرْضِنَا.
10 الرَّحْمَةُ وَالحَقُّ تَلَاقَيَا.
البِرُّ وَالسَّلَامُ تَعَانَقَا!
11 مِنَ الأرْضِ سَيَنْبُتُ الحَقُّ،
وَمِنَ السَّمَاءِ سَيَنْزِلُ البِرُّ.
12 اللهُ نَفْسُهُ سَيُعطِينَا خَيْرًا،
وَأرْضُنَا سَتُعطِي ثَمَرَهَا.
13 البِرُّ أمَامَهُ سَيَسِيرُ،
وَلِخُطُواتِهِ سَيُمَهِّدُ الطَّرِيقَ.
Psalm 85
King James Version
85 Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.
5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.
