为国家求福
可拉后裔的诗，交给乐长。
85 耶和华啊，你赐福了你的土地，
使雅各的子孙重返家园。
2 你赦免了你子民的罪过，
遮盖了他们所有的过犯。（细拉）
3 你收回自己的怒气，
不发烈怒。
4 拯救我们的上帝啊，
求你复兴我们，
止息你对我们的怒气。
5 你要向我们永远发怒吗？
你的怒气要延续到万代吗？
6 你不再复兴我们，
使你的子民靠你欢喜吗？
7 耶和华啊，求你向我们施慈爱，拯救我们。
8 我要听耶和华上帝所说的话，
因为祂应许赐平安给祂忠心的子民。
但我们不可再犯罪。
9 祂拯救敬畏祂的人，
好让祂的荣耀常驻在我们的地上。
10 慈爱和忠信同行，
公义与平安相亲。
11 忠信从地而生，
公义从天而现。
12 耶和华赐下祝福，
我们的土地就出产丰富。
13 公义要行在祂面前，为祂开路。

1 Вечный, услышь меня и ответь,
ведь я беден и нищ.
2 Сохрани мою жизнь,
ведь я Тебе верен.
Ты – мой Бог;
спаси Своего раба,
надеющегося на Тебя.
3 Владыка, помилуй меня,
ведь я к Тебе взываю весь день.
4 Даруй радость рабу Твоему,
ведь я к Тебе, Владыка, возношу душу мою.
5 Владыка, Ты благ и готов прощать,
богат любовью ко всем, кто призывает Тебя.
6 Вечный, молитву мою услышь;
внемли мольбе моей о милости.
7 В день беды моей я к Тебе взываю,
потому что Ты ответишь мне.
8 Владыка, нет подобного Тебе среди богов,
нет дел подобных Твоим.
9 Все народы, которые Ты создал,
придут и поклонятся пред Тобою, Владыка,
и восславят имя Твоё,
10 потому что Ты велик и творишь чудеса;
Ты – Бог, только Ты!
11 Вечный, научи меня пути Своему,
и буду ходить в истине Твоей.
Дай мне сердце, полностью преданное Тебе,
чтобы мне жить в страхе перед Тобой.
12 Восхвалю Тебя, Владыка, мой Бог, всем сердцем своим;
имя Твоё буду славить вечно,
13 потому что велика милость Твоя ко мне;
Ты избавил душу мою от глубин мира мёртвых.
14 Всевышний, гордецы восстали против меня,
сборище негодяев ищет моей смерти –
те, кто не думает о Тебе.
15 Но Ты, Владыка, Бог милостивый и милосердный[a],
долготерпеливый, богатый любовью и верностью.
16 Посмотри на меня и помилуй;
силы Твоей дай рабу Твоему;
спаси сына Твоей рабыни.
17 Дай мне знак, что Ты ко мне благ;
пусть его увидят ненавидящие меня и устыдятся,
потому что Ты, Вечный, помог мне и утешил меня.

Исх. 34:6) и является родственным арабскому выражению: «бисмиллях-ир-рахман-ир-рахим», что переводится как: «Во имя Аллаха милостивого и милосердного». В доисламской Аравии христиане государства Набатея использовали похожее выражение, переняв его из иудейской традиции.
Psalm 85
King James Version
85 Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.
5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

Prayer that the Lord Will Restore Favor to the Land
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm (A)of the sons of Korah.
85 Lord, You have been favorable to Your land;
You have (B)brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people;
You have covered all their sin. Selah
3 You have taken away all Your wrath;
You have turned from the fierceness of Your anger.
4 (C)Restore us, O God of our salvation,
And cause Your anger toward us to cease.
5 (D)Will You be angry with us forever?
Will You prolong Your anger to all generations?
6 Will You not (E)revive us again,
That Your people may rejoice in You?
7 Show us Your mercy, Lord,
And grant us Your salvation.
8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak,
For He will speak peace
To His people and to His saints;
But let them not turn back to [a]folly.
9 Surely (F)His salvation is near to those who fear Him,
(G)That glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth have met together;
(H)Righteousness and peace have kissed.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth,
And righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 (I)Yes, the Lord will give what is good;
And our land will yield its increase.
