渴慕耶和华殿宇
84 可拉后裔的诗，交于伶长。用迦特乐器。
1 万军之耶和华啊，你的居所何等可爱！
2 我羡慕渴想耶和华的院宇，我的心肠、我的肉体向永生神呼吁[a]。
3 万军之耶和华，我的王我的神啊，在你祭坛那里，麻雀为自己找着房屋，燕子为自己找着抱雏之窝。
4 如此住在你殿中的，便为有福！他们仍要赞美你。（细拉）
得力于主者乃为有福
5 靠你有力量，心中想往锡安大道的，这人便为有福！
6 他们经过流泪谷，叫这谷变为泉源之地，并有秋雨之福盖满了全谷。
7 他们行走，力上加力，各人到锡安朝见神。
8 耶和华万军之神啊，求你听我的祷告！雅各的神啊，求你留心听！（细拉）
居主殿宇者承受恩荣
9 神啊，你是我们的盾牌，求你垂顾观看你受膏者的面。
10 在你的院宇住一日，胜似在别处住千日。宁可在我神殿中看门，不愿住在恶人的帐篷里。
11 因为耶和华神是日头，是盾牌，要赐下恩惠和荣耀，他未尝留下一样好处，不给那些行动正直的人。
12 万军之耶和华啊，倚靠你的人便为有福！

84 萬軍之耶和華啊，
你的居所多麼美好！
2 我深願進入耶和華的院宇，
我的身心向永活的上帝歡呼。
3 萬軍之耶和華，
我的王我的上帝啊，
在你的祭壇邊，麻雀找到了家，
燕子築巢養育幼雛。
4 住在你殿裡的人有福了！
他們不斷地歌頌你。（細拉）
5 靠你得力量、嚮往到錫安朝見你的人有福了！
6 他們走過流淚谷，
這谷就變成泉源之地，
秋雨使谷中水塘遍佈。
7 他們越走越有力，
都要到錫安朝見上帝。
8 萬軍之上帝耶和華啊，
求你聽我的禱告；
雅各的上帝啊，求你垂聽。（細拉）
9 上帝啊，求你照看我們的盾牌，
垂顧你所膏立的王。
10 在你的院宇住一日勝過在別處住千日！
我寧願在我上帝的殿中看門，
也不願住在惡人的帳篷裡。
11 因為耶和華上帝是太陽，是盾牌；
祂賜下恩惠和尊榮，
不留下任何好處不賜給行為正直的人。
12 萬軍之耶和華啊，
信靠你的人有福了！

84 (A)Eweema zo nga nnungi,
Ayi Mukama ow’Eggye!
2 (B)Omwoyo gwange guyaayaana,
gwagala na kuzirika,
olw’empya za Mukama,
omutima gwange n’omubiri gwange bikoowoola Katonda omulamu.
3 (C)Weewaawo,
ne nkazaluggya yeekoledde ekisu,
n’akataayi ennyumba mwe binaakulizanga abaana baabyo
awo okumpi n’Ebyoto byo,
Ayi Mukama Ayinzabyonna, Kabaka wange, era Katonda wange.
4 Balina omukisa ababeera mu nnyumba yo,
banaakutenderezanga.
5 (D)Alina omukisa omuntu eyeesiga amaanyi go,
era assaayo omwoyo okutambulira mu makubo go.
6 (E)Bayita mu kiwonvu Baka,
ne bakifuula ekifo ky’ensulo;
n’enkuba ya ddumbi n’ejjuza ebidiba byakyo.
7 (F)Bagenda beeyongera amaanyi,
okutuusa lwe batuuka mu maaso ga Katonda mu Sayuuni.
8 Wulira okusaba kwange, Ayi Mukama Katonda ow’Eggye;
mpuliriza, Ayi Katonda wa Yakobo.
9 (G)Ayi Katonda, Engabo yaffe,
tunuulira kabaka wo n’okusaasira oyo gwe wafukako amafuta.
10 (H)Okumala olunaku olumu mu mpya zo,
kisinga okubeera emyaka olukumi mu bifo ebirala.
Njagala okuba omuggazi mu nnyumba ya Katonda wange,
okusinga okubeeranga mu weema z’abakola ebibi.
11 (I)Kubanga Mukama Katonda ye njuba yaffe era ye ngabo yaffe;
atuwa emikisa gye awamu n’ekitiibwa;
tewaliiwo kirungi na kimu ky’ataawa
abo abatambulira mu makubo ge nga tebaliiko kyakunenyezebwa.

1 How lovely is your dwelling place,(A)
Lord Almighty!
2 My soul yearns,(B) even faints,
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out
for the living God.(C)
3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may have her young—
a place near your altar,(D)
Lord Almighty,(E) my King(F) and my God.(G)
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
they are ever praising you.[c]
5 Blessed are those whose strength(H) is in you,
whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.(I)
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baka,
they make it a place of springs;(J)
the autumn(K) rains also cover it with pools.[d]
7 They go from strength to strength,(L)
till each appears(M) before God in Zion.(N)
8 Hear my prayer,(O) Lord God Almighty;
listen to me, God of Jacob.
9 Look on our shield,[e](P) O God;
look with favor on your anointed one.(Q)
10 Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper(R) in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11 For the Lord God is a sun(S) and shield;(T)
the Lord bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold(U)
from those whose walk is blameless.
12 Lord Almighty,
blessed(V) is the one who trusts in you.
