渴慕朝见　神的必蒙福

可拉子孙的诗，交给诗班长，用“迦特”的乐器。

84 万军之耶和华啊！

你的居所多么可爱。

2 我的灵渴想切慕耶和华的院子，

我的心身向永活的　神欢呼。

3 万军之耶和华，我的王我的　神啊！

在你的祭坛那里，

麻雀找到了住处，

燕子也为自己找到了安置幼雏的巢。

4 住在你殿中的，都是有福的，

他们还要不断赞美你。（细拉）

5 靠你有力量，心中向往通到圣殿大道的，

这人是有福的。

6 他们经过干旱的山谷，

使这谷变为泉源之地，

更有秋雨使这谷到处都是水池。

7 他们行走，力上加力，

直到各人在锡安朝见　神。

8 耶和华万军的　神啊！

求你听我的祷告；

雅各的　神啊！

求你留心听。（细拉）

9 　神啊！求你垂顾我们的盾牌，

求你看顾你的受膏者。

10 在你院子里住一日，

胜过在别处住千日；

宁愿站在我　神殿中的门槛上，

也不愿住在恶人的帐棚里。

11 因为耶和华　神是太阳，是盾牌，

耶和华赐下恩惠和光荣；

他没有留下一样好处，

不给那些行为正直的人。

12 万军之耶和华啊！

倚靠你的人是有福的。

1 Lạy Chúa của các đạo quân,
Chỗ ở của Ngài thật đáng yêu mến thay!
2 Linh hồn con khao khát và thèm muốn được vào sân của nhà Chúa biết bao.
Lòng con và thân xác con ước ao được về đó để reo mừng chúc tụng Ðức Chúa Trời hằng sống biết dường nào.

3 Ngay cả con chim sẻ còn kiếm được một chỗ ở,
Con chim én còn có nơi để làm tổ cho con nó gần bàn thờ Ngài,
Ôi Chúa của các đạo quân, Vua của con và Ðức Chúa Trời của con.
4 Phước cho người nào được ở trong nhà Ngài!
Họ sẽ được ca ngợi Ngài mãi mãi. (Sê-la)

5 Phước thay cho người cậy Ngài làm sức mạnh mình,
Và để lòng mình nghĩ đến cuộc hành trình về nhà Ngài.
6 Khi họ đi qua thung lũng buồn đau than khóc,
Họ sẽ biến nó thành nơi có những suối nước trào tuôn,
Như mưa đầu mùa biến nơi ấy thành vùng có nhiều vũng nước.
7 Họ càng đi tới, sức lực họ càng tăng lên,
Cho đến khi mọi người ra mắt Ðức Chúa Trời tại Si-ôn.

8 Lạy Chúa, Ðức Chúa Trời của các đạo quân,
Xin lắng nghe lời cầu nguyện của con;
Ðức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp ôi,
Xin nghiêng tai nghe tiếng cầu xin của con. (Sê-la)
9 Ðức Chúa Trời ôi, xin đoái xem người lãnh đạo[a] của chúng con;
Xin cúi nhìn vào mặt người được xức dầu của Ngài.

10 Vì một ngày được ở trong các sân của nhà Ngài
Thật đáng hơn cả ngàn ngày ở những nơi khác.
Tôi thà đứng giữ cửa trong nhà Ðức Chúa Trời của tôi,
Còn hơn ở trong biệt thự[b] của những kẻ gian ác.

11 Vì Chúa Ðức Chúa Trời[c] là mặt trời và thuẫn khiên;
Chúa sẽ ban ân sủng và vinh hiển;
Ngài chẳng giữ lại phước hạnh nào đối với người ăn ở ngay lành.
12 Lạy Chúa của các đạo quân,
Phước thay cho người tin cậy Ngài!

Psalm 84[a]

For the director of music. According to gittith.[b] Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.

1 How lovely is your dwelling place,(A)
    Lord Almighty!
2 My soul yearns,(B) even faints,
    for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out
    for the living God.(C)
3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
    and the swallow a nest for herself,
    where she may have her young—
a place near your altar,(D)
    Lord Almighty,(E) my King(F) and my God.(G)
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
    they are ever praising you.[c]

5 Blessed are those whose strength(H) is in you,
    whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.(I)
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baka,
    they make it a place of springs;(J)
    the autumn(K) rains also cover it with pools.[d]
7 They go from strength to strength,(L)
    till each appears(M) before God in Zion.(N)

8 Hear my prayer,(O) Lord God Almighty;
    listen to me, God of Jacob.
9 Look on our shield,[e](P) O God;
    look with favor on your anointed one.(Q)

10 Better is one day in your courts
    than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper(R) in the house of my God
    than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11 For the Lord God is a sun(S) and shield;(T)
    the Lord bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold(U)
    from those whose walk is blameless.

12 Lord Almighty,
    blessed(V) is the one who trusts in you.

84 How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!

2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.

4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

O Lord of hosts!
2 (C)My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the Lord;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
And the swallow a nest for herself,
Where she may lay her young—
Even Your altars, O Lord of hosts,
My King and my God.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in Your (D)house;
They will still be praising You. Selah

5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
